The gang ran into the hotel room now, with Daphne locking the door behind them.

"Please let me go!" Vincent insisted, still trying to break free of the grip on his hand.

Asamad finally released his hand, and Vincent just stood there, visibly confused.

"What was that all about?"

Daphne looked away.

"It's about Nekara, she's here…"

Vincent froze, his heart stopping for a second. After what she tried to do to him last time and when he first opened the chest back in the day, he never wanted to see her or even hear her name ever again..

"Tell me that isn't true, Daphne," he panted.

"I wish I could," she admitted.

"What am I going to do? If she finally succeeds in stealing my powers, there's no way of knowing what will happen to me. More importantly, what about the rest of you, and also Voudini?"

"Okay okay, listen to me, she's not going to steal your powers," Asamad assured him, "We won't let that occur, I promise. You will be fine."

"He's right," Flim Flam agreed, embarrassed just remembering the day he tried to set him up with Nekara, not realizing at the time why it wasn't okay. "We're gonna do everything we can to stop her."

"Yeah and her kiss loses its power at midnight anyways. So, after that point, she literally can't drain your magic," Jayden added.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Vincent?" the voice from outside called.

Everyone looked at each other for a second.

"That better not be her," Shaggy gulped.

"Wait a minute, that sounded like.." Cheryl began.

"Mr. Voudini," Flim Flam finished.

"You should let him in. He needs to know what is going on," Vincent suggested.

Daphne unlocked the door and let him inside.

"Sorry for interrupting," Voudini said, "I just wanted to come here and congratulate you on your award. But I wonder, why did you leave so soon?"

"Thank you, my friend. I had to leave because, well, there is danger nearby," Vincent warned, "It's Nekara. She's back and I know that she's after you, me, and all of the other warlocks again."

"I thought she was trapped in the chest."

"Well she was, until I let her and the other eleven ghosts out back in February," Velma told him.

Voudini glanced at her, then back at Vincent.

"Please be careful. It would be a disaster if Nekara stole your magic. It was already dreadful when she took mine."

"I will. You should be careful too," Vincent replied.

A scream was heard from outside, causing Shaggy and Scooby to jump with fear.

"Like, what was that?" Shaggy quavered.

"I think someone in this room might have to take a quick look," Velma responded.

"Ron't let rit be me," Scooby begged her.

"I'll do it," Asamad said.

He cracked the door open and peaked through it. For all he could see was an unknown man weeping on the floor, frail and vulnerable.

"Please give me my powers back!" the man cried out, "I have done nothing to you!"

"Silence!" Nekara ordered, "Now that's one less warlock to worry about."

She started to walk away from him, ignoring his pleading and begging for someone to save him.

Asamad shut the door now, and turned to the others.

"There's a warlock out there. His powers have just been drained and he needs help."

"I'll help him," Vincent declared without hesitation.

"No," Daphne protested, "It's too dangerous. She could still be around here somewhere."

"Rhe's got ra point," Scooby agreed, "Rwhat if the rhost sees rou?"

"But he's just like me. I could never leave another warlock, or really anyone behind if something happened to them. Even if that means putting myself in danger," Vincent replied.

He rushed outside and went over to the man, offering his hand and helping him up.

"Thank you so much. Wait, are you Vincent Van Ghoul?" the warlock wondered.

"It was my pleasure, and yes, that is me. You are going to be just fine. You will get your powers back," Vincent promised.

They both walked back inside the room, and the man laid down on one of the beds.

"You'll be safe in here," Daphne told him.

A few moments passed, and no one had seen any signs of Nekara.

This was worrying for Asamad. He knew she could appear at any given moment and put Vincent and Voudini under her love spell immediately, and he wouldn't have had enough time to prevent it.

He trailed off from his thoughts as something appeared outside of the window.

"Who is that?" Velma questioned.

A dark figure was there. As it stood further away, it became clear that it was within the shape of a woman.

Suddenly, the figure teleported into the room. It was Nekara.

"Oh no…" Jayden whispered in fear.

"I want my revenge!" the enchantress shouted. "And this time, nothing will stand in my way."

Vincent looked to Voudini.

"Please help him out of here. He's already hurt and I don't want her to do anything else to him," he told him, glancing towards the man still lying on the bed.

"Of course," Voudini responded.

He helped the man up and they both departed from the room.

"Leave this place at once!" Asamad fumed at the ghost.

"Absolutely not. At least not until I finally drain the powers of Vincent and become invincible forever!" Nekara hissed.

"That'll never happen, he doesn't even like you," Cheryl scoffed.

"We'll see about that," Nekara said, staring straight at Vincent, attempting to put him in her Trance of Love.

Vincent covered his eyes and turned away from her immediately.

"Look at me. You know you want to look into my beautiful eyes," Nekara tempted him.

"Don't look into her eyes!" Shaggy warned him.

"Get away from him!" Asamad ordered, throwing a fireball at the ghost but missing her by a few inches and hitting the wall instead.

"Is that all you got?" she teased.

The red demon just stared at her in fury.

She forced Vincent's blue eyes open and stared right into them.

And with that, his eyes accidentally looked into hers, and he froze once more, falling under her love spell yet again.
