Chapter 10
Savoy had his team looking night and day, and he was furious that the drones lost sight of Optimus now. He wasn't sure what to make of why his rebellious daughter did what she did. She'd had always been a handful, but what she did by helping Optimus escape was beyond forgivable. She would pay for that and dearly.
They stopped at a drive-thru for food and just waited for some new news, which naturally did not come.
"I can't believe she pulled this bullshit," Savoy snarled. "You are going to pay big time, Beth,"
Meanwhile, where Optimus and Beth were,
Beth was asleep on Optimus' chest plates when a being materialized watching her sleep.
"You are going to need more than that gun to protect Optimus Prime; you, Beth Savoy, are now the last protector and guardian to the last Prime. You are also his future mate, protect him well, your added powers of a powerful vampire slayer. The strength, agility, fast on your feet and in your mind," the voice said as thunder was heard while lightning streaked across the sky, lighting everything up.
Silence...
"It is time to let it begin," the mysterious being said. "For others will be coming to take you both to a new home, a home where you will be heroes protecting the innocent. Do your jobs well, but you are not out of the woods yet, because your father will find you before you leave," the being said.
The being disappeared as Beth stirred slightly, her hand gently caressing Optimus' chest plates, causing a cute purring sound from him.
Beth smiled at the purring sound.
"You sound like a cat," she said as Optimus laughed for the first time.
"Do I?" he asked.
"Yeah, you do," Beth said as she made her way to his faceplates to kiss him.
"Wait, let me help and make it a bit easier for you," Optimus said, using his holoform as this time he planned on taking it a bit higher.
He pulled her into his servos, kissing her. Beth wanted this kind being so much she returned his kiss, her hands moving into every nook and cranny of his armor. Optimus was able to speak quickly then.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes, I want to be with you; make me yours, Optimus," Beth said as he nodded; his chest plates opened up on his real body while doing so on the holoform as well.
Optimus started to talk in Cybertronian when his spark broken into tendrils several from his real body going inside of her heart. Beth and Optimus were shaking in not just a powerful emotion of love but so much more neither would ever have expected.
Optimus' intakes were cycling wildly as he held Beth, he didn't understand his feelings, but Optimus knew he couldn't lose her. He had lost too much as it was. He couldn't and wouldn't lose her too... NEVER!
