Rin reaches the double doors and enters; the front desk clerk knew who she was but was shocked she was there.

"Good morning Mrs. Taisho". She smiles and says good morning back.

Rin walks to the elevator and presses the number to get to Sesshomaru's floor.

The front desk clerk quickly tries to call upstairs, but no one is answering. It was too late anyway Rin reached the floor. She steps out of the elevator; his staff once again greets her. Once again, they were in shock she was there.

Everyone in the office knew about Sesshomaru's randevu with his assistant. Therefore, when Rin walked into the office they were surprised because Sesshomaru and his assistant were now in his office having their daily meeting.

Rin always had a key well a swipe badge to his office as she used to come and go as she pleased. Sesshomaru thought Rin would not stop by his office since her schedule became busier. Sesshomaru never thought Rin would ever come visit him again, he will see very soon.

Rin walks up to the door and Sesshomaru catches her scent. Before Sesshomaru had a chance, Rin walks through the door and saw the girl laid out on his desk. Sesshomaru using his speed tries to stop Rin from coming in, but it was too late. She has already seen the girl and she was very inappropriate with how she was pulling her dress down.

Sesshomaru eyes dim and soften. He could feel Rin's pain, her shock; he could see her tears.

"Rin let me explain".

"There is nothing to explain. Do not come home. You do not have a home with me. You can stay with her that is where you want to be anyway".

"Rin please" Sesshomaru goes to grab her hand.

"Do not touch me!"

Rin walks away but takes the stairs, she was too embarrassed. She now wondered about those stares she received while coming into the office. It made sense now, everyone knew but her.

Sesshomaru walks out to the workstation area where his staff is located.

"You all will be on paid leave for the next couple days, starting now. I know you all saw what happened and that is my fault as a leader. I will understand if you all do not wish to work under me anymore. Please let me know by the end of the week if this is where you still wish to be employed at".

Everyone looks to each other and begin gathering their things to leave for the day. Sesshomaru turns back to his office and enters, the young woman was still there.

"What about me? What happens to us now?"

"There will be no us. Jaken will put in word for you for any place you want to work but it cannot be here. He will also give you funds if you so need it".

"Excuse me? I am not a whore. I really cared about you, and I thought you would leave your wife for me".

"I was never going to leave her. I never gave you that impression. It was quite clear what we were and what we were doing. It never exceeded further than this office".

As she rushes out, she blurts out, "You are only doing this because you got caught. If she never would have come here, you would still be dicking me down".

Sesshomaru knew this to be true, but truthfully, he would rather be in between his wife's legs. He only thought of her while he fucked the life out of the girl. She was only a stress reliever for what he could not do at home. The only thing he did with the girl was fuck her, nothing more intimate. He always used a condom.

Sesshomaru orders Jaken for him to clean up his office, to replace all furniture and to replace the broken picture of him and Rin. He walks out to his car and takes off to his cabin in the woods, he would surround the area with a barrier.

Later on in the news:

Rin is watching the news, her POV.

"Billionaire demon Sesshomaru Taisho of Inutaisho Corp has been caught in a scandal. We were not expecting this one. We have here his mistress; she wants to speak out so everyone will know her side of the story".

The news reporter turns to the girl:

Yes, my name is Sara Asano and I have been Sesshomaru's administrative assistant and mistress for a year now. I thought he would leave his wife, but he kept leading me on. Everyone at the office knew about us but they kept their lips sealed. His wife, like OH MY GOD, she never comes to see him, they barely even speak to one another. I don't know how they stayed married. He then tried to bribe me with money, but this is payback for promising me a life knowing we would never be together".

Next thing you hear in the background a woman yelling, "Hey bitch, watch your mouth and what you say about my sister!"

The girl hurls off and hits Sara. Rin eyes widen, it was Kagome, and it actually made her giggle. That is so like Kagome to find someone and confront them. She didn't even care about the cameras that were capturing her in this moment.

Sara and Kagome are arguing in the background and then you see Inuyasha trying to get Kagome out of there before she catches a charge.

Rin could not be more embarrassed; the love of her life betrayed her.

"Where did it all go wrong?" She looks around and see everything she took out for their little dinner; she had to call and cancel the order for their food.

Rin turns the tv off and sends Kagome a message telling her thanks for taking up for her. She sits at her bar taking a shot of brandy, her eyes began to well up.

When their relationship begins to fade:

After Rin opens up her practice and Sesshomaru promotes her, she began to receive many clients that were interested in her being their psychologist. They had a grand opening, which was recorded by the news. Sesshomaru and Rin cut the bow and her practice was now open. He lifts her up and she wraps her arms around him; they kiss.

Everything was going good until Sesshomaru noticed Rin was not home that often. She was not home to greet him or have dinner ready. At first, it did not truly bother him because he knew she was just starting out. He finally speaks with her to see if she could balance work and home life because it was getting out of hand.

The only time he could speak to her was through facetime, but she was at work. She would come home and still be working, eventually falling asleep. He grew tired because even in that little bit of time she would have to cut the conversation short because she had an appointment with a client.

Rin thought he was being selfish because he already had his name out there. He got his name cleared from his past reputation. Rin simply wanted to do the same by putting her name out there and become one of the most renowned psychologists. Sesshomaru understood that but he was spoiled and was used to having his wife whenever he wanted her. He was used to her cooking dinner, picking out his clothes, cuddling and dating. He was not receiving anything from his wife now, barely a phone call.

One-time Sesshomaru saw her sleeping in her robe, and he thought to wake her up like he used to, which she enjoyed as well. He began kissing and licking on her thighs and she moans out in her sleep. Sesshomaru almost got a taste of her ambrosia when she wakes up and stops him.

"I am tired Sesshomaru, please let me sleep".

Sesshomaru stops and could not believe his wife is now rejecting him from having her sweet nectar. He thought to give her time, but he never thought it would be this much time. Rin never came to him with advances after that, they were now just roommates that never spoke to each other.

That is when Sesshomaru began sleeping at the office more, there was no reason for him to go home anymore. He could shower and eat from work and have his suits delivered to him. He did not have to be at work because he was the CEO of his company but since there was nothing to do at home, that is where he would be.

Sesshomaru could have spoken up but chose not to, his silence also contributed to their distance as well. They both contributed to why their marriage were at odds but was it that bad to step out? Rin just thought Sesshomaru was being selfish and only thought of himself, he could have took initiative too.
