There should be a rule that when one comes across a mysterious, glowing portal, one should leave it alone.
Maybe it was a rule, but this was before science-fiction was popular, so Hogan missed the memo.
Either way, when he came across one such mysterious portal, he couldn't help but investigate. As he approached it, it sucked him in.
When he came through the other side, he saw himself staring back at him.
No. Not himself. Some sort of copy in a Nazi uniform.
