Notes: So, as I was rewatching episode 7, I realized that the cemetery actually was the place where Vincent and Nekara almost got married, instead of it being near the place. I only noticed that after I posted the previous chapter.

And yes, I did make a reference to when in the actual episode, Vincent said 'Nekara, your fate is sealed with a kiss.' I love that line so much and I thought it was pretty cool. And I did manage to explain how Voudini got his magic back last time.

Also, I gave Nekara a final form. (Her final form is an amalgamation of snakes because her hair was full of snakes at one point in the episode) I am doing that with some of the other demons from the chest. I think that since they are literally the most terrifying ghosts on Earth that they should have more horrific forms.

Daphne stood there in confusion as Nekara said that.

"Me? You're the one who's putting him in danger!" she exclaimed, pointing directly at the blonde demon.

"It is clear that you know nothing! Now begone, there is not much time left until my kiss loses its power," the demon demanded.

"Nekara.." Vincent began.

"Silence! Do not care for this woman at all. Obey me instead. Now, seize her!"

Vincent just stared at her.

"Why are you just standing there?" she asked.

Daphne smiled, and so did the others as all of them still watched from behind the bushes.

"I knew he couldn't turn against me. Like he said earlier, he doesn't love y-" she began, but then was interrupted and started to scream as Nekara pushed her down to the ground.

"Daphne!" Shaggy cried out.

Vincent began rushing over to help her, but Nekara pulled him back.

She glanced at the clock.

"There's only 5 minutes until midnight. Kiss me now before it's too late!" she commanded.

She grabbed his face and leaned in, and so did he.

"NO!" Asamad suddenly yelled, jumping out of the bushes.

He flew towards them, tackling her right before they could touch lips, making her fall onto the ground.

Nekara looked up at him, with her hair now turning into snakes instead of being just blonde.

"Fool! How dare you disturb my plan!?" she fumed.

"Never mess with my bloodline," he snarled.

"Get off of me at once! You don't even know the first thing about love!"

"What I know is that your version of it is warped and corrupted."

She pushed him away and the fight between them had begun. Meanwhile, Vincent grabbed Daphne's hand, helping her up.

"Vincent..?" Daphne breathed as she glanced up at him. "I'm okay, and all of us will be too once we trap her back in the chest."

The others ran over to them, with the demon chest in Velma's hands.

"She didn't kiss him, did she?" Shaggy wondered.

"No," Daphne replied, "Asamad got in the way before that could happen."

"Thank goodness," Cheryl sighed in relief.

Vincent looked around at every single one of them.

"Rincent?" Scooby began.

"Take me back to her.." he mumbled.

"We won't do that," Velma told him.

"But we can break her spell," Flim Flam added.

"Just listen to us, please. As you once said in your speech, we're family," Daphne reminded him.

Then soon, everyone joined her, telling Vincent he can break the spell, and that Nekara means nothing to him.

Vincent blinked a few times, putting his hand on his forehead, and he no longer had that blank look in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Asamad casted blasts of his magic at Nekara, with her trying to get him under her spell.

"Nice try, but it doesn't work on me. I never fell for it and never will. I'm not even a warlock anymore. Your spell only hypnotizes warlocks, remember?" he taunted.

"You shall be punished for denying my love in the first place!" she swore.

"I told you I was married! Even if I wasn't, I still wouldn't have been interested."

All of a sudden, Nekara had the snakes on her head grow constantly. Transforming her into an amalgamation of deadly snakes.

Everyone looked at her in absolute terror, especially Shaggy and Scooby.

"W-what j-just happened?" Shaggy stuttered.

"Rakes!" Scooby screamed.

The snakes turned to their direction, coming straight towards them.

Asamad saw this, and immediately threw a huge fireball at the snakes, knocking the abomination back just a few feet away from the gang.

He then held the snakes down for a moment with his magic.

"Leave them be!"

The snake abomination turned directly to Vincent, as he still glanced in fear.

"Aren't I sssstil beautiful?" it hissed.

"You disgust me," Vincent insulted.

"My fate won't be sealed with a kissss like last time!"

"I should get the chest ready and trap her in it now, right?" Velma asked Daphne.

"Yeah, but be careful. This demon is really powerful," Daphne replied.

"I will, don't worry," she nodded.

Velma held the lid tight as she slowly went towards the abomination.

"You won't be bothering Vincent or any other warlock ever again!" she declared.

She opened the lid and the snake amalgamation felt itself being pulled into the chest.

"NO! STOP!" it screamed, then the lid closed, trapping Nekara inside.

Velma picked up the chest as it fell down, and everyone sighed in relief.

"Finally, she's gone," Jayden said.

Him and the others went towards Vincent, and they all hugged him, and he hugged them back, except for Asamad, since he wasn't comfortable with hugs. Instead, he watched them all in silence.

"We're so sorry Vincent, we love you," Daphne apologized.

"But it's over now," Flim Flam assured him, "She's defeated for good. I promise."

"It's not your fault. Like, it never was," Shaggy agreed.

"Thank you so much for freeing me of the spell. I don't know what I would've done if she won me over this time," Vincent smiled.

"We couldn't have just not done anything. Besides, what kind of friends would any of us be if we let something really bad happen?"

Asamad could tell that Vincent was still in pain after what happened. He could feel it too. Of course, he never went through half of what Vincent went through. Yet, he understood how he felt, and decided he would discuss it later with him after the celebration.

The clock struck midnight now. After a moment, they ended the hug, and Voudini appeared once again.

"Are you alright?" he asked Vincent.

"Thanks to all of them," Vincent looked around at the others, "I'm doing just fine. What about you?"

"I'm fine as well. Fortunately, Nekara didn't steal my magic this time," Voudini admitted.

"Mr. Voudini? May I ask you something?" Jayden questioned.

"Of course."

"Just how did you get your magic back from Nekara last time?" he wondered.

"Well, since no magic can enter the Chest Of Demons besides the magic of the 13 Ghosts, that means that when Nekara was trapped back in there last time, she couldn't take my magic with her. So naturally, I was able to get it back once I found it."

Jayden nodded.

"So, are we still going to have the celebration?" Cheryl asked.

"I'd love to, but only if you're still okay with it," Daphne said, turning to Vincent.

"Yes, I am. It would possibly get my mind off of what Nekara tried to do to me tonight," Vincent replied. "I find satisfaction in spending time with all of you anyways."

She smiled at him.

"Thank you."

"Ret's go, then!" Scooby cheered, feeling happier now that the celebration wasn't cancelled.

Everyone headed back to the hotel, talking amongst themselves, and Vincent was just about to do that as well, until Asamad spoke.

"Wait, Vincent."

Vincent turned around.

"Yes?"

"Can we talk later? After the celebration?" Asamad requested.

The warlock just stood there for a moment, secretly panicking on the inside.

Oh no.. he must be disappointed in me for falling under Nekara's spell and almost kissing her, he silently thought to himself.

He immediately sighed, then glanced up at the ghost.

"Well alright, I suppose we can talk. Where do you want us to do that, exactly?"

"Good. Meet me on the roof after everyone else falls asleep," Asamad told him.

"Of course," Vincent responded.

Then, he went back towards the hotel, and Asamad followed him.
