The celebration had begun. Everyone was back in the hotel room laughing with each other, eating snacks, playing music, and having a fun time.

Daphne stood up out of her chair, starting to speak, with the music being turned off and everyone having their attention on her.

"I just want to say, I know we didn't plan most of the stuff that occured tonight. However, we're still here altogether, and we're celebrating not only the fact that we have defeated yet another ghost from the chest, but also Vincent winning the Warlock of The Year award. I know that it won't be easy for us to defeat the remaining demons from the chest that are still on Earth, but it is not impossible. Anyways for right now, let's just enjoy this moment we're having. Thank you all so much for coming," she announced.

Everyone clapped and nodded as she sat back down while the music was turned back on again.

Voudini, having just finished being introduced to Velma along with having a conversation with her, walked up to Asamad now.

"Hello. You must be Asamad. Vincent has told me quite a lot about you," he said.

"Yes, I am," the red winged ghost replied.

"As you may know already, I am Victor Voudini. I would've introduced myself earlier tonight had Nekara not gotten in the way of our plans. So, I have decided to do it now while all of us are still here."

"It's alright, I completely understand. It is very nice to meet you."

They continued to converse with each other for a few more moments. Vincent had seen this as he watched them from the other side of the room.

After they had ended their conversation, Voudini walked away. Asamad turned to Vincent's direction, giving him a look that reminded him that the both of them would also talk later.

Vincent tried to not show how nervous he was about it, and instead gave him a nod, and Asamad walked away, joining the others as the night went on.

The celebration officially ended a few hours later. Everyone else had soon fallen asleep, Voudini had gone back to his own room after wishing the gang a good night. Which left Vincent by himself to sit on the roof of the hotel, waiting for Asamad to arrive.

Vincent had no idea what either of them would say. Which probably scared him the most. He thought of almost every possible way this conversation could go.

He abandoned his thoughts as he heard Asamad fly up onto the roof now, sitting next to him.

"Alright, let's talk.." he began.

"Wait," Vincent responded, looking away, "Before you say anything. I just want to let you know, I'm sorry. I didn't intend for Nekara to put her love spell on me. Or want for her and I to almost kiss each other. While under the spell, it was difficult to disobey her most of the time. If you're disappointed in me, or angry with me, I understand."

"What?"

The mage looked straight at him in confusion.

"Excuse me?"

"Vincent, I am in no way disappointed. In fact, I am very proud," Asamad admitted.

"Really?" Vincent asked in shock.

"Of course. First of all, you have won the Warlock of The Year award. Next, helped a fellow warlock after he got his powers stolen. However, thankfully, he got his powers back after Nekara was trapped back in the chest. Then, never gave up trying to fight against the 'Trance of Love' spell, and even broke free of it. Lastly, helped the rest of us defeat Nekara again for good," Asamad pointed out.

Vincent smiled at him.

"Thank you, Asamad," he said.

"My pleasure. Listen, even if Nekara did steal your powers, although, thank goodness she did not, we still would've found a way to get your powers back. Also, she could never have taken away your personality. Or the fact that you are Vincent Van Ghoul. No one can. Not even me. I only blame her for what she did and tried to do. Just promise me you won't feel so guilty over what happened that you end up doing something that puts your life in danger."

"You're right, and I promise I won't do anything like that."

Asamad put his hand on Vincent's shoulder and smiled back at him.

"I know how it feels. She once tried to go after me thousands of years ago as well. Luckily, her and I never kissed. Nevertheless, she still made me feel extremely uncomfortable."

Vincent nodded.

"I suppose the reason why I thought you'd be angry was because I think I remember you yelling at me, telling me to 'shut up,'" he began, "However, I don't remember much while under the spell, as my mind only mostly could think about Nekara."

Asamad sighed and glanced downwards for a moment. He had hoped that Vincent would've forgotten about that.

"Yes, that did happen. I sincerely apologize for that. I was just.. so furious about what Nekara was doing, and I ended up taking some of my anger out on you. Daphne called me out on it though," he admitted.

"It's okay. I understand and I forgive you. One more thing, during the fight you and Nekara had, I also remember you mentioning that you were married when she tried to put you under her spell," Vincent recalled.

"That is true. Since I wasn't giving her the attention she wanted, she gave me a choice. To choose between her or my wife. Obviously, I chose the latter," Asamad told him.

"Well, who could blame you? No one on Earth would have chosen Nekara."

"Not quite. There is one person that would've picked her."

"Who's that?" Vincent wondered.

"Nekara herself."

They both laughed a little bit at that, and when they finished, dawn started to approach.

"You have done well," Asamad said to Vincent. "Just remember that you didn't deserve anything that Nekara has done to you, and that the others and I will always be here no matter what. Also, thank you for including me in your speech. I thought it was excellent."

"I will, and you're welcome. You were right, the others are my family, but I consider you to be family now too," Vincent answered.

Both of them smiled at each other again, and silently watched the sunrise together. Vincent knew things would turn out to be alright now, and Asamad did as well.

For there was always hope for a better tomorrow…

Notes: That is the end of "I Don't Want Your Love." The next episode I will be doing is the Zomba episode titled "Ghosts On Screen." I'm not exactly sure when I'll be starting it, since tomorrow (July 29th) I have to get my first dose for the COVID vaccine, so it all depends on how I feel after getting it. Hopefully, I'll be able to start episode 4 in early August!

Also, the title of this chapter is a lyric from the song "Marry The Night" by Lady Gaga. Also, the part where Asamad tells Vincent not to do anything that puts his life in danger and Vincent says he promises not to is also inspired by the lyrics "I won't give up on my life" that are in that same song.
