TRAIL

Langenscheidt sighed as he patrolled the forest outside Stalag 13. After some sabotage activity last night, Major Hochstetter had blown into camp demanding Klink's men find the culprits. One, he claimed, was wounded and had to be close.

Langenscheidt thought the chances of actually finding anything were low. Then he saw some red speckles standing out against the snow. He saw another patch of red.

Blood?

He followed the blood trail to a clearing. It stopped at a stump.

Oh. He knew who the saboteurs were. Maybe he could—

"Excellent work, Corporal," Hochstetter said, suddenly behind him.

Langenscheidt silently cursed.
