Growing up: Chapter 2: The Tournament has started
Lillie, the sister of Gladion was happy that Ash was participated. Her brother needs a challenge. Serena, Ashes childhood friend and the one who kissed him, sat besides her. Lillie and Serena met while waiting for tickets to enter the stadium, they instantly became friends. Besides Serena, sat a girl named Dawn and if you didnt know better her and Serena could have been sisters. Talking about the new fashion trends and cooking. The three of them looked like bffs.
Cynthia took the word. Ahum, congrats to those who made it to the top 32. The battles to come in the top 32,will be double battles. The first one is the Masked Royal vs Champion Ash Ketchum!
Lillie laughed. Serena wonderd what was so funny. Lillie explained that the Masked Royal and Ash had battled before. And Ash won the last battle. Dawn was excited to see Ash battle after so long. She had heard he became Champion, but never saw the battle.
Champion Ash vs Masked Royal. Two vs Two double battle! Bring out your pokemon.
Ash: MR, I hope you are ready.
MR: For a battle with you, always!
Ash: Lucario and Infernape I choose you!
MR: Incineroar and Venesaur, lets go!
Lucario, use Aura Sphere, full power on Incineroar. Infernape, use Flare Blitz on Venesaur.
MR: Venesaur, use Solar Beam on Lucario, Inceroar protect Venesaur until Solar Beam is charged.
Ash: Smart move, but you cant protect them from the under the ground, can you? Infernape, use Dig then Flare Blitz!
MR was panicking. He didnt expect this. Flare Blitz hit Venesaur pretty hard and it couldnt continue. He forgot about Lucario and Inceroar was hit pretty hard. MR had no choice than use his Z-Move. While firing his Z-Move, the finisher he uses with Inceroar while in a Battle Royal, Ash ordered Lucario to use Double Team and Infernape Dig. Wonder above wonder, they dogded the Z-Move. Now Lucario Aura Sphere, Infernape Mach Punch. Inceroar was defensless against two powerful fighting type moves and was soon down. Champion Ash Ketchum wins. MR was happy he had some exciting battle and decided to stay to watch the rest of the battles. Soon Paul, Gladion and Alain made it in the top 16. Serena was proud of Ash, while Lillie was bummed that the MR was defeated that easily. Dawn was impressed by how strong Infernape has became and surprised he owned a Lucario.
Lance was very pleased with this. He knew the battles only could get better from here on.
