Akira's Mother
Mrs. Mimaska insisted Tsukushi's baby shower be hosted in her
Anne of Green Gables style house and gardens.
Telling Shigeru, Sakurako, and Yuki, " It's a beautiful location
for a girly baby shower. Please let me host, Tsukushi is such
a sweetie. I wish Akira could find a girl like her."
A frilly tea party, pink cake decorated with frosted
butterflies and blossoms, very girly, indeed.
Arrival
Yuki and Tsukushi arrived together.
A beautiful, dainty, girly setting for a fun party
All greeted, hugged, welcomed Tsukushi
Feeling blessed, loved
Surrounded by her friends and family
Games
Shigeru, Sakurako, and Yuki, enthuasticaly announced time
had come for some fun party games.
Tsukushi merely smiled, curious
Guess Who?
"We placed baby pictures around the house.
Please guess whose baby pictures belongs to each guest.
For fun we added pictures of the boys."
The ladies laughed in agreement at
Tsukushi comment, "Tsukasa's curly hair and pout
will give him away."
Tsubaki rolled her eyes, nodding
"That's my stupid brother."
Ice, Ice Baby
Akira's mother really had gone above and beyond with details
Servants had placed adorable plastic babies,
frozen in ice cubes, in each guest's punch
Object of game
Who ever ice cube melted first, cried out,
MY WATER BROKE
No surprise, Sakurako won

Pick a Duck
Twins, Emu and Memu set up this simple, fun game
Tub of water filled with adorable pastel
rubber duckies
All numbered on the bottom
Corresponding to various guest gifts.
Later, Tsukushi is given a decorative bag full of duckies for
the baby's bath time or Tsukasa's bath?
Diaper Notes
Emu and Memu placed a box of newborn diapers on a table
several colored markers. Emu said,
"Everyone writes a quote, advice or picture for Tsukushi
to draw inspiration"
Party forgotten, the twins
argued over making pictures for their brother,
Ultimately descending into who loved Akira more.
Tskukushi smiled, attempting not to laugh.
Shizuka: Beautiful shoes will take you, beautiful places
Tsubaki: Like magnets drawn to one another…
Yuk or yum!
Shigeru and Yuki handed out plates, spoons
Yuki smiled, "Ok everyone, take a
sample of baby food and guess the flavor."
First jar, sweetness, Tsukushi guessed, Applesauce
Next jar, green colored,
gross smell and texture, no one desiring to taste.
Peas!
Tsukasa is going to try all these samples, too
Decides Tsukushi, smiling
F4
The F4 hung out in Akira's enormous mansion, drinking, joking
Teasing one another, enjoying each other's company
Tsukasa staired out the window, not paying attention
Akira and Sojiro, elbowing each other
told Tsukasa, after the baby is born, we
should celebrate
Akira will make his famous "Between the sheets" drink
Sojiro elbowed him, "Hey you don't want them to
have their second baby so soon. That right, Tsukasa?"
He only staired out the window
Lost in his own thoughts
Rui chuckled, "Lets crash the party."
Party Crashers
All the young men
tramped across the yard, to crash the baby shower.
Tsukasa walked behind, Rui by his side
He seemed worried, frowning, he knows how
angry and upset Tsukushi can get in unexpected situations.
No desire of being part of his wife's ire.
Rui elbowed him, "Relax, it will be fun!"
Tsukasa merely nodded.
Surprise!
Each guy walked through the rose archway, forming
a semi walls
looking up, pausing in their conversations, the women stared
at the awkward group of young men. Upon seeing their brother,
the twins bolted for Akira, jumping and hugging him.
Tsukushi gaped at Tsukasa
Why she wondered, would he crash her party, but
she noticed his loving eyes glance down, and shoulders droop.
Smiling, she got up, walked to him, taking his hand,
she led him to a chair.
Everyone visibly relaxed, and the boys chatted with the girls.
Cake, Punch, Gifts
Everyone gathered around Tsukushi as she unwrapped her gifts.
Her gifts, included a fancy new stroller, stuffed animals,
bath accessories, diapers, tons of little dresses, other play clothes, sleepwear.
Her head spins, as she knows nothing about any of these items.
Shizuka's gift was some beautiful, dainty pairs of baby shoes.
Finally, everyone visited, laughing, merriment, all around the young couple
Tsukasa and Tsukushi
Tsukushi sat, nibbling her cake, sipping her punch
Happy, she is surrounded by all these wonderful
people who love and support her.
Glancing sideways, at his wife,
Tsukasa noted she looked exhausted. Taking her plates,
he helped her up, leaning down, whispered
"Let's go home. You look tired."
Tsukushi looked up, "What about everyone? We should say goodbye."
Merely shrugging, he said, "Who cares, It's your party."
Simply nodding, they left.
Twenty minutes later, everyone
Realized they were gone.
