Author's note: I truly appreciate those of you who left a comment and let me know what you think I can do to either fix parts of the story or improve it, truly thank you and I hope you continue to show your support and help me improve.
While there are some who just commented on how bad this was without any elaboration on what can be done or those who just want to make fun of this story, you need to mind that I have no experience, so I need your feedback in order to improve and if you didn't like this story then that's fine and maybe you can find one you will like, I'm sure you will find one.

It has been roughly 2 hours since Subaru woke up and there was no sign of Reinhard coming while Subaru's patience started to dwindle.
Subaru: come on! How long do I have to wait until he comes so I can clear up that whole misunderstanding we had at that alley!
2 minutes later someone finally came as the door and the gate that blocked the exit were finally opened and low and behold the one standing by the door was everyone's favorite red headed knight.
Reinhard: sorry for taking so long Subaru, I hope you weren't too bored waiting for me.
Subaru: bored?! I was waiting for more then 2 hours for you so we can clear up that one simple misconception from that other day. Subaru said this while giving quit the stink eye which was magnified by his angry eyes.
Reinhard: once again I am sorry for making you wait, I'm sorry if I'm being rude but why didn't you read the books that you had over there to pass the time?
Subaru took a while a few seconds to answer knowing how embarrassing its going to sound he took a deep inhale before answering to Reinhard.
Subaru:…I don't know how to read.
Reinhard looked with pure pity at Subaru realizing how much of an unfortunate of circumstance Subaru is in.
Reinhard: if you want after your questioning is over I can teach you how to read and write. Reinhard said this with a truly honest look of someone wanting to help his friend.
Subaru: really? Thank you so much.
Reinhard: its honestly nothing.
After this Reinhard guided Subaru through the mansion and led him to what looked like a dining hall where 3 people were waiting for them.
By the table were sitting a woman wearing a military uniform, a purple haired knight and an out of place catgirl who all seemed to be talking about something.
Reinhard: here we are everyone, I'm sorry we are late but I had something that I was tasked with taking care of.
Green: its okay sword saint, by the way is this the boy we were told about?
Reinhard: yes Crusch-sama.
Said woman took a good look at Subaru before turning back to Reinhard.
Crusch: are you that's the person you were telling us about? She said this while raising an eyebrow.
Reinhard: I am most certain that he is Crusch-sama.
Crusch: very well, then let us proceed with this interrogation.
She said this and all faces looked towards Subaru and then the woman whose name is Crusch began asking her questions.
Crusch: first and foremost I am going to ask you this: are you affiliated with the Witch cult?
After asking this Subaru simply deadpanned while Reinhard came closer to the trio to whisper them something.
Reinhard: I forgot to mention this but when I found Subaru yesterday he said he didn't know what the cult even was and thanks to my divine protection I knew he wasn't lying.
After he whispered that they all looked to Subaru with somewhat of an embarrassment.
Crusch: well forget about that question, now then Subaru please answer honestly these questions: where do you come from?, who do you work for if any?, and do you possess an authority?
Subaru: well I come from Japan which is a small island nation to the east.
Crusch: Subaru, Lugunica is the eastern most nation on our continental map, there is no island nation to the east, what's bewildering is that you are not lying.
Reinhard: what's is that he didn't lie about coming from Japan either…, perhaps Subaru is a waterfall person?
As he said that all looked at Reinhard with shock except Subaru who didn't know what that meant.
Reinhard: Subaru can you please give a simple description of Japan?
Subaru: sure, Japan is an island country in east Asia, located in the northwest Pacific Ocean , Japan is a unitary state and constitutional monarchy in which the power of the emperor is limited to a ceremonial role, Executive power is instead wielded by the prime minister of Japan and his cabinet, whose sovereignty is vested in the Japanese people.
After saying this they looked at him sadness as for purple hair and catgirl it was too elaborate to be a lie, so they believed him to be a mad man but to Crusch and Reinhard they knew it was too complicated to be a lie and thanks to the divine protection which they both had they knew he was telling the truth.
Crusch: so you really are a waterfall person.
She said it with a sad tone as he was a young man likely torn away from his family without his consent.
Subaru: oh no worries, if I complete my deal I'll be sent home in no time.
Crusch: so you do work for someone?
Subaru: yes but I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about…him? Her?...doesn't matter, the point is that they went away before I got to ask if I can even talk about them.
Reinhard: that is rude, and you are telling the truth.
Before anyone got to say anything the world slowed down or it seemed so to Subaru and soon he heard a familiar voice talk to him.
The weaver: I know it hasn't been long but no I don't care if you tell people about me but be warned it might not be the smartest thing to do as some people might try to use that information against you.
Subaru: I understand.
Weaver: also I will continue to talk to you throughout this little interrogation in case anything needs my attention.
With that the world came to a normal pace…at least from Subaru's point of view as for others nothing changed.
Subaru: I am working for an entity called The weaver and they are currently listening if anything needs their involvement.
Crusch: who or what is "The weaver".
Weaver: say the following.
Subaru: I'm about to say what The weaver is saying as an explanation and I don't know why doesn't want to just talk to all of you himself.
Weaver/Subaru: I am a godlike entity which resides outside of both space and time, I am a being which guides worlds towards balance indirectly, I tried to stop Subaru from being brought to this world but I was too late.
They all nodded in confirmation and waited for Subaru to continue being the literal mouthpiece of The weaver.
Weaver/Subaru: so when Subaru was brought here I gave him an offer: save this world by stopping the disasters named after the deadly sins and end all 3 monstrous beasts that roam the land and in turn I will bring you back home.
Crusch: so you do work for someone, but your goals are benevolent rather malicious?
Weaver/Subaru: yes.
Everyone in the room sighed in relief as Reinhard and Crusch let the other two know that there were no lies.
Crusch: finally do you or do not possess an authority?
Subaru: yes I do.
With this both the purple nurple and neko maid got tense and even Crusch got taken back a bit, Reinhard was the only exception due to hearing it yesterday.
Crusch: which authority do you possess?
Subaru: justice.
Crusch: even though you are not lying is it possible that you simply don't know which one you have? Its just that there are only seven authorities, and we know that only Pride is not held by anyone to our knowledge.
Subaru: oh no I definitely know that its justice, The Weaver is the one who created it and gave it to me.
With this the hentai reject catgirl finally spoke up.
?: you expect Crusch sama to believe-Naya all this garbage ?!
Everyone was shocked at this outburst and she continued.
?: you must be some kinyad of lunatic for us to believe this?!
Crusch: Felix! Please stand down, if he was crazy then one of the countless divine protections the sword saint has would have let him know by now.
Felix looked down in shame after hearing this.
?2: she is right Felix, if he was mad then this interrogation would have ended sooner.
Felix: you're right Julius, I'm so sorry Crusch sama.
Crusch: its fine Ferris, now then Subaru can you please tell us what your authority lets you do or demonstrate?
Subaru: I don't exactly know what it does, but I know it either traps thing in places or objects it also might just send it somewhere else and the thing I least think is likely is that allows travel between parallel worlds.
Crush: well then let's see it in action and in case it just sends things away you can use this feather and ink to mark whatever you are sending so we can identify it.
With that Subaru picked one of the chairs and dragged it away before writing "Subaru was here" on the chair in Japanese.
Subaru: can someone give me a piece of cloth ?
Reinhard exited the room and returned 10 seconds later with a red 1.4 square meter cloth that he handed to Subaru, Subaru then began activating his power and covered the chair with to cloth and not before long the chair started sink into the floor before disappearing.
Subaru: Ta-Da! He said that as he removed the cloth to reveal absolutely nothing beneath it like a cheap birthday magician.
Subaru: and now let's see if it's trapped in the floor so let's try to bring it back. After saying this he returned the cloth into the same location to try and bring it back.
Subaru: and presto! Hey where is that chair? He said that when he saw that everything stayed the same.
Crusch: it seems as though whatever your power is its likely the other options might be the correct one.
Subaru looked a bit glam while Felix snickered a bit at the display while Julius simply watched cautiously.
Crusch: no matter, we will send people to look for that chair and in the meantime we can have breakfast.
Subaru: oh boy I was waiting for this.
Julius: didn't Reinhard leave your breakfast at your cell?
Reinhard: I'm sorry about this Subaru.
Subaru: forget about not leaving breakfast, I waited for you for 2 hours! What were you doing in that time?!
Reinhard: I really am sorry about that but I was busy dealing with a very angry lady.
Subaru: hmm? Doesn't matter, I'm starving let's go have breakfast.
Somewhere else….
Subaru was currently in his room at the astrea mansion talking to the witches with his phone.
Subaru: so anyway we need to find a way to deal with Rem and Ram and clear things up with them hopefully without reveling anything.
?: agreed. Said a voice on the other side of the phone.
We now look to the other phone which is held by a woman with white hair wearing black clothes while she is surrounded by an assortment of women of different age ranging from child to what looks like 30's.
Subaru: so echidna I think we should do things like thi-.
Before being able to finish his sentence there was a large crash heard from Subaru's side of things and all girls panicked.
1: what was that ?
2: did someone attack Baru?.
3: if they did maybe Subarun will let me eat them?.
Echidna: calm down all of you, he is still conscious.
Subaru: yea I'm alright just had a chair fall on my head out of nowhere.
Witches: a chair?
Subaru: yes and when I find who did it I will have quiet the talk for this dumb prank.
Upon inspecting the chair he found something weird on it.
Subaru: hey there is something written on this chair.
Echidna: what? Read it please.
Subaru: okay here it goes: Subaru was here.
Subaru: wait what?
Echidna: so what, someone tried to make an elaborate prank.
Subaru: no its not that it's…..it's written in Japanese.
With this everyone including Subaru was on high alert and while he looked around to see where it came from a green demon beast started to run to his room.
When it arrived it began to look with Subaru for where the chair came from while also sniffing to identify the person.
3: Subarun the guy who did this for some reason smells mostly like you and it came from the ceiling.
Subaru: almost smells like me?
3: yes except he doesn't have the witch's smell….instead he smells very….pure? holy? I don't know how to describe it but it smells very good.
Subaru: hah. And with this he looked up at the ceiling to try to figure thing out and soon after a piece of red cloth started to sink out of the ceiling.
Subaru: WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?
Subaru said and ran to edge of the room while the demon beast growled but soon enough the cloth disappeared as it appeared.
Subaru: what was that?! Seriously I can't be the only one who saw that right?!
3: no I saw that too and weirdly enough it has the same smell but it also smells a bit like Reinhard.
Subaru: I need to find him to get myself some answers because this is too creepy for me.
3: I wonder if the person who did it looks like you or is tasty.
Astrea mansion: late morning, dining room.
Currently Subaru, Reinhard, Felix, Julius and Crusch were having breakfast while Subaru gave a few finishing touches of explanations to Crusch about The weaver while also discussing The virtue Authority Subaru had and finally determining with what will happen to Subaru after all of this is finally over.
Crusch: just to clarify, is there anything important that you haven't mentioned about your ability?
Subaru: well….for one Weaver told me that the authorities he created for me and my possible allies won't conflict with any divine protections.
After saying this while drinking some of his soup everyone eyed him while he just slurped his soup in confusion.
Reinhard: that shouldn't be possible as authorities and divine protections are opposites and one can't have one and also posses the other.
Subaru: guess that makes those unique or different in a sense…oh and also he told me each authority has 2 abilities, one initial and one that is gained after it evolves.
Julius: that is very useful but what needs to happen for it to "evolve"?
Subaru: he told me that an action related to the virtue of some sort causes it at some point to evolve, so for justice for example I need to do something just? Or uphold justice? Beats me.
Crusch: from what I see it seems your power somewhat works like an authority while at the same time it doesn't, so if I may suggest you might call it something other then an authority both to distinct yourself from the witch cult as well as to not draw their attention.
Subaru: hmmm…..you do have a point….what about this? What if I call this a Right rather then a authority?
Reinhard: why is that?
Subaru: well that's because while both are similar there are several differences between a right and authority, a right is something everyone has which corelates to how a virtue should be upheld by everyone and strived for while authority is something only a select number of people have.
Crusch: I see, go on.
Subaru: also those with both types of authorities can be and sometimes tend to be terrible people especially with witch cultists from what you told me, which creates a sort of parallel so a right is like a authority but you would actually want to have it.
Crusch: that is quit the elaborate meaning behind a simple name change, it fits well.
With this said Subaru looked proud of his idea while Felix looked bored, Julius fought with his food and Reinhard cheered for Subaru.
Crusch: there is one final thing that is bugging me which is why The weaver for all its supposed power and might didn't help us when we needed it be it a few years ago when….something bad started to happen in the royal castle and don't worry it will be explained in more detail later, and also when 400 years ago The witch of envy destroyed half of the world? Or during any number of other disasters?
Weaver: say this Subaru.
Subaru: more psychic talk from The weaver coming right now.
Weaver/Subaru: The main reason I didn't help 400 years ago was because it was too overwhelming for me to handle as the same event was happening across multiple similar realities and yes there are parallel realities get over it because it isn't relevant if you can't cross to them or they to you, so in short I take care of not one but more then 700 different Lugunicas which all had such a calamity as for why I don't help is because I try to affect thing by carefully pushing things in the right directions so the problems won't just go away but also so people may grow and become stronger so that said events won't repeat themselves.
They all just looked blank eyed as they digested this info dumb which included Subaru despite knowing about it already.
Crusch: so why did you do something so drastic as to let us know about you and go as far as to create something which DIRECTLY opposes a problem that you are trying to solve?
Weaver/Subaru: simply put: I had enough of trying to quietly destroy the witch cult and the 3 great beasts, after more then 400 years of letting them do as they please I thought of teaching them a lesson in the most ironic way possible: create a force which directly opposes them and functions as a sort of reverse or anti witch cult so they will suffer as much as everyone of their victims did in the last 400 or so years.
Reinhard: I see, well I will help you with your goal seeing as you aren't lying and also as everyone will agree that its long overdue that they pay for their crimes.
Reinhard: and I will gladly help you find people who will can be a anti sin archbishop!
Subaru at that moment just deadpanned while everyone looked at him confused.
Subaru: what's a sin archbishop?
Reinhard: sin archbishops are the leaders of the witch cult and strongest members of the cult. part of the reason we needed to question you was because we thought you were one as all of them have an authority.
Subaru: I see, so does this technically means I'm an anti sin archbishop?
Crusch: yes but we will need to have a better name that we will come up with later.
Subaru: I wonder what powers will the other virtues have.
Julius: when we meet them we will know but for now let's finish our breakfast.
Reinhard: just know this Subaru: whatever the situation is I will help you as much as I can to find the rest as well as defeating the witch cult.
Subaru: thanks.
After this conversation they proceeded to finish eating breakfast while talking about how to handle things moving forward while Felix tried to convince Subaru that Crusch is a good candidate to having one of the rights while she politely said she currently didn't want it as Subaru said he didn't even know too much about her.
Roswaal mansion, early morning
Sitting in his office was the head of the margrave family Margrave Roswaal L. mathers who was busy waiting for a certain individual to arrive while he was busy reading a black book.
As he was reading his book retracing lines he heard a knock at the door to his office.
Roswaal: come in~.
The door opened to reveal a pink haired maid who came in.
?: sir I came to tell you breakfast is ready.
Hearing this roswaal's grin grew into a full blowen smile as he rose from his seat while hiding the book within his clothes.
Roswaal: thank~ you Ram.
And with that the circus clown reject and the maid made their way to the dining room where a long table with a white cloth stood where on one end of the table sat Emilia while on the other stood another maid nigh identical to Ram but her hair was blue and she had larger…..assets.
As soon as Roswaal saw this he was quit shocked not because of who was here but rather because of wasn't here.
Roswaal: I'm sorry but I have important~ matters to take care of~ in my office that I just remembered, I will join you as soon as they are finished~.
With a quick bow from the maids Roswaal quickly maid (hehe) his way to his office locking the door behind him and taking out his book to read it.
As soon as he saw what was written his face crunched up in shock.
No no no, this can't be…this changes everything, wait no, I can still salvage the situation, after all my gospel is still working and simply updated its instructions though this means I cant have any slip ups now, if I fail I will have to bare the consequents of my actions, no doing things over, but I do wonder what the boy's replacement ability means and how can I have it used to advance my goal….no matter I will simply have to deal with the invasion myself and then gather the residents to have them meet the boy in the astrea mansion, yes that will do, all that really happened was that I have a change in plans and that the difficulty increased but other then that nothing changed…yes this will be perfect, I just know it.
Thought to himself Roswaal as he laid his eyes on what was written in his oh so precious gospel.
This is what was written in it: the boy can no longer loop through time as he had this ability removed from him by an unknown entity, however said entity has granted him a different ability which allows him to cross through realities by an unknown method.
He is currently residing in the astrea mansion resting there, you are to in 12 days to gather the residents of your mansion excluding the librarian and make way to astrea and make contact with the boy.
Roswaal was smiling wondering if in some of those realities he had succeeded in his goals and wanted to meet said counterparts as he was sure they would be willing to help as he would do the same for them Afterall.
And with that he closed the book placing it in a hidden compartment in his desk exiting his office and making way for a relaxing breakfast.
Somewhere in a dank cave, time of day unknown, same day.
A group of robed men with their faces covered were standing around a very green man wearing the same robes as he with his rotten face looked at the pages of a gospel held in his hands.
After reaching a certain page he looked at it in surprise.
?: hmm?
As he looked this was what he saw on said page: the witch cult's biggest thereat has began to form, 10 individuals each bearing the name of a virtue will come to oppose and destroy the cult, of these 10 currently the one holding the title of Justice exists, however with time the rest will appear.
And it continues: you must proceed with caution as the first individual Betelgeuse romni conti will encounter will be the one holding the title of Diligence and should caution be ignored Betelgeuse will meet his end at the hands of Diligence.
After fully reading this he was in full shock, because for him to possibly meet his end at the hands of someone who dares to not only claim to be more diligent then but also claim it as a title was infuriating.
Geuse: no this cant be!, my brain trembles!
He yelled this biting on his fingers while pulling his hair.
Geuse: there can't be anyone more diligent them me, ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!
After this outburst he without warning suddenly calmed down as if nothing had happened.
Geuse: so I must be more diligent then the one who will hold the title of Diligence and stop this group from forming, yes I will prove my diligence by eliminating them and save the cult which will prove my love for her, diligent love, great love, love love love love love love love love love love.
LOVE!.
After this he turned around facing the group kneeling before him before proclaiming.
Geuse: with this new information our instructions are now clear: first we must inform all the other sin archbishops of this new revelation and then we need to find those who hold the titles of virtues and eliminate them before they become a threat!
They all bowed down as he was taking one last look at his gospel before leaving.
: each virtue holds a different position of strength and danger but should you fail to stop Prudence from forming then all hope is lost.
Reading this he grinned one final time.
Geuse: I will not fail you, I WILL PROVE TO YOU MY LOVE.
Capital of Lugnica, city hall, late afternoon.
The council of wise men were shocked as it was only 9 months ago that the dragon stone gave them a message, however today they were surprised to see it now held a new prophecy which is as follows: in the following months 10 people who have the name of a virtue will appear to fight and destroy the witch cult, you are to find them and aid them in their holy mission, as of now only 1 has been found, the one holding the name of Justice is currently residing in the astrea mansion.
To say they were happy after reading this would be an understatement, as one would know that the cult has been terrorizing the world for over 400 years and now something that could rival and possibly overcome them has arrived.
All the wisemen have unanimously have agreed that they will as soon as possible go meet that person and if can not be then they will have him come to them.
Astrea mansion, same late afternoon, same day.
We come to see as Subaru, Reinhard and Julius are standing in a large room together while Subaru was holding the same red cloth from earlier.
Julius: I will be the one to help you along with Reinhard figure out what your "Right" actually does.
Subaru: wait did you find that chair from earlier and why isn't Crusch and Felix here?
Reinhard: they had business to take care of and I am sorry but we couldn't find that chair.
Subaru: oh ok, wait why are you apologizing for something that's not your fault?!
Reinhard: I'm sorry.
Subaru: ugh.
Julius: moving on, we are here to test your ability out, so why don't you this time try to use it on yourself? Maybe you'll finally get what it does?
Subaru: I don't know…but we don't have anything else we can try.
Reinhard: wait before you do that, how about I go with you for safety?
Subaru: sounds good to me.
And with that they both stood right next to each other as Subaru held the cloth.
Subaru: are you ready?
Reinhard: yes.
Subaru: here it comes!
And with that Subaru activated his power and covered both of them with the cloth, they felt as though the floor turned into mud as they sank into it quickly before fully sinking in.
When their heads sank what their eyes saw would give an epileptic person a field day: they saw an ocean of different colors colliding with one another and meshing together while they were fulling through a wormhole thing before they popped out of what seemed to be the floor.
Subaru scratching his head looking at floor while Reinhard quickly stopped being disoriented thanks to some dumb divine protection.
Subaru: eh Reinhard you might want to take a look at this.
Reinhard: what is it?
Subaru: look.
What they saw before them was the same room they were in before, however it was empty but what caught the attention of Subaru was how the walls and some parts of the floor were covered in blood.
Quickly signaling for Subaru to stay behind him, he and Subaru exited the room to look around to see what's going on.
After a bit of roaming around finding plenty of blood covered walls and floors they had entered the dining room from earlier.
Subaru: blargh!
Subaru upon seeing what's inside the room couldn't keep the contents of his stomach to himself and puked while Reinhard would have done the same if not for some pesky divine protection.
Inside the room where several corpses of hooded men and some of the maids of the mansion, all the maids had something missing or in pieces but what caught their eyes was the corpse of a middle aged man with red hair who was missing both of his eyes and all limbs except his right arm.
While Subaru was recovering from puking Reinhard simply fell to his knees seeing this along with the message written in blood above the corpse: long live the sin archbishop of pride!
AN: about fucking time that I finish the second chapter.
I'm sorry to all of you that it took so long but along with work, feeling sick and school projects I had to delay this and I hope that my procrastinating ass wont delay the next chapter so much, along with this you saw how the fanfic " the beast of despair" made cameo here and I'm saying it here that whether this is or isn't canon to that fic is up for RushAlias and they can chose what they feel like and ill be ok with either thing, if its canon then cool and they can have it simply be a comedic thing or even a crossover but if they don't respond or claim it isn't then that's fine too, for all I care what was written here takes place In a alternate timeline from tbod, the same goes for any other fics that might appear here and please don't harass the writers.
One last thing: other then letting me know what you liked and didn't, I would like to know what you think each Right should give its user as well as who do you want to have what and finally what do you think should the anti witch cult and the anti sin archbishops should be named?
