Saturn
A week had gone by since Tsukushi gave birth.
Sitting in the beautiful nursery, she rocked Akai to sleep.
Quietly entering, smiled at mother and daughter,
his heart filled with joy, contentment.
Whispering, Tsukasa said, "I have a surprise."
Curious, Tsukushi, waited for him to gently take
Akai in his arms, placing her in the crib. Coming back
he helped Tsukushi up, directing her towards the balcony.
Retrieving his telescope, she followed him out. A briefest
Déjà vu moment, smiling, shaking her
head, who would have ever thought this tough guy
had a romantic side. Adjusting the telescope, finding Saturn,
they gazed at the distant planet. Still beautiful, grinning
he handed her a box. Surprised, she gave him a questioning glance
"Open it," is all he simply said. Opening the small box,
she found a delicate tiny Saturn charm bracelet. Gasping at
it's beauty, Tsukushi smiled, "For our daughter?"
Simply nodding, "Our Saturn moment brought
us closer. Fulfilling all my dreams."
