Flashback

Two days after her fight with Nick Mollie was at Chrissy's house. Mollie was talking about what a nice she had with Randy when they went to the movies.

"You like him." Chrissy said smiling.

"What, I do not."

"You do so, you've been talking about him since you got here."

"Chrissy, come on I might be fighting with Nick but I love him."

"Yeah, but you have a thing for Randy."

"No I don't."

After some groveling Mollie went back to Nick. He'd promised to be more mindful. It was Saturday, April 1st, Randy's sixteenth birthday. He'd gotten his license and was greeted with a car of his own. After having a family dinner with their parents, Randy and Nick got back to the house and started to get ready for Randy's birthday party his friends were throwing, It was being thrown by a mutual friend of Randy and Nick at his lake house. Mollie had just gotten to Nick's house.

"Hey babe." He said.

"Hi." They kissed. "Is Randy upstairs I have a present for him."

"Yeah."

Mollie went upstairs. The door to Randy's room was open. She stopped in his doorway.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi."

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah."

She went inside. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks."

"I burnt you a CD." She said handing it to him.

"Thank you." He said taking it.

"I know it's nothing big but I thought I should get you something."

"You didn't have to get me anything but I really appreciate it."

At around one o'clock that morning everyone was at the lake house They were all drinking and buzzed. Mollie was by the boathouse away from the main house looking at the lake. It had gotten cold and she was standing with her arms folded.

"Hey." Randy said coming up beside her.

"Hi."

"What are you doing?"

"Just enjoying the view."

"Cold."

"Yeah."

"Here." He took off his jacket, stood in front of her and put it around her shoulders. "You're so beautiful, you know that?" He said coming closer to her face.

"Thanks."

"I have something to tell you... He pressed his lips against hers kissing her. She kissed him back for the next thirty seconds before breaking it.

"Oh my god." She said terrified. "What did we just do?" "I have to go."

"Moll, wait ." She ran away. Randy knew kissing her was wrong but he liked it.
