Luffy lost sight of his brother. The Marines have been amazing. Even with Ivankov's encouragement, he was still lacking and the marines managed to cover his eyes from the execution platform which had never ceased to be the center of Luffy's goal since he saw it.
The surrounding people fell after he shouted, revealing the execution platform again. But...

The platform is gone. Ace is nowhere to be seen.
"Ace?! Ace?!" shouted Luffy.
A burst of Fire caught his attention. A pillar of fire rose into the sky, burning brightly with life.
Luffy stopped in his tracks.

The other pirates also soon followed and they all cheered.

"I was wondering who my savior was," Ace said as flames licked from his shoulder.
He smiled brightly at Buggy, full acknowledgment in his eyes.
"I'll catch both of you," Buggy said hastily, boasting a little.
"My plan is perfect!" He quickly said to put his name on the operation.
"Hey, you!" Mr.3 shouted from his limp state in Buggy's arms.
Ace beamed. "Thank you, Buggy!"
"Ahh actually if your little brother and his subordinates didn't attract all the attention in this war, it's possible that the plan I made wouldn't work." Buggy replied
"As expected of Captain Buggy!"
"Captain Buggy saved Fire Fist!"
"How cool!"
"Captain Buggy is really the advocate of freedom! Brother Three is his loyal partner!" shout one of Buggy followers.
"Captain Buggy! Brother Three! We will follow you till the end!" replied the other one.
Luffy smiled happy to see his brother had been freed.
he immediately directed his attention to his soldiers.
"Everyone, no turning back! Kill everyone."
