The year was 2005. Randy had made it to the WWE. Mollie and Nick had been married for three years. In two days they were moving from their apartment into their first house. There was a lot of packing that still had to be done. Mollie was at home packing waiting for Nick. Her cell phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi." Nick said.
"Hi."
"Babe um…
"Please don't tell me you have to work late again."
"I wish I could."
"You promised to work less this week and help me." She was getting irritated.
"I know."
"I work to you know?"
"I know." "Mollie, I did everything I could to try and get out of this."
"It's fine, I'll just do everything by myself." She said sarcastically. "I have to go." She hung up.
Mollie was sitting up in bed writing in her journal.
Well another night alone. She wrote. I know Nick's working hard and trying to make partner. I just miss him and with this move I need help. Sometimes I feel like I'm not being supportive enough. I wonder if I'm being I good enough wife. Sometimes I feel like I'm not. Especially on the nights I'm alone and I find myself fantasizing about Randy. On those nights I scold myself. I love Nick. I should never fantasize about another man. Especially since he's my brother-in-law. It's not like he's some celebrity I'll never meet, we're family. Not that I would ever act on them but that's not the point. What's wrong with me?
At four-thirty the next morning Mollie was getting ready to leave for work. She had to work a twelve hour shift. She knelt down on Nick's side of the bed.
"Nick." She said softly. He opened his eyes. "I'm leaving."
"Wait, come here." He pulled her on top of him. "I'm sorry." "Are you mad at me?"
"It's just frustrating feeling like I'm doing all of this myself."
"I promise I'll be here tonight."
"Where have I heard that one before?"
"This time I mean it." They kissed. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Later that evening when Mollie pulled in the parking lot she was surprised to see Nick's car. She'd just walking in the front door.
"I told you I would be here." Nick said. They kissed. "Go take a shower, then we'll order some dinner."
"Ok."
The next day they were moving into the house. Mollie came down from the bathroom. Nick had just sat down a big box. Mollie put something on top of it.
"What's that?" He asked looking at it. He looked at her and smiled. "This isn't a trick one is it?"
"Nope."
"We're having a baby?"
"We're having a baby." She said happily. They hugged and kissed.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
