"Do you have eyes on the target."

"Shut up, dobe"

"What! I see him! Can't you see him!?"

"I said shut up!"

"YOU WANNA GO TEME!" I heaved a heavy sigh as the two bickered over the radio. My ears were ringing from Naruto's voice, and Sasuke's drawled out tone was giving me a headache. We were each stationed at different points of the square, all stationed within range of the target. Why Lady Tsunade insisted I bring these two along for recon was beyond me.

"N-Naruto, please be quiet and calm down, You'll b-blow our cov-cover" Hinata called out shyly. 'Oh yeah, she's along too.' I always forgot about the bluenette. She was so quiet and unassuming. She made for the perfect bait since no one would believe she was an agent with that annoying ass stutter. I rolled my eyes at my team. Honestly I could've done this part on my own. Sabaku No Gaara had been spotted hanging around times square so a team had been sent out to scope the place. Orders were kill on sight if given the chance.

"Um Amaya-san, have… have you ever well.. you know…" I glanced over in Hinata's direction. She was browsing around some dress stores while keeping a bashful eye on Gaara. She even bought some stuff to not seem suspicious.

"No Hinata, and just Amaya is fine, I don't know what you mean."

"Have you eve-ever, um ki-"

"Have you ever killed anyone." Sasuke cut in impatiently. I rolled my eyes over to his direction directly across from me. He was admiring some watches in a near by store, but kept an eye on Gaara's reflection through the window.

"Duh! Obviously! The USA'S CIA is like super hardcore right!? You guys go through advance training to become super soldiers! Like Captain America" I snorted at Naruto's description of the Americans government forces. He was leaning against a hot dog vendor, scarfing down what seemed to be his third hot dog. He flashed me a foxy grin when we made eye contact, his weird whisker tattoos seeming to twitch with his smile. I shook my head at the stupid blonde.

"Naruto, you've been watching way to many American movies. We aren't "Super Soldiers", we are just specially trained. And yes Hinata, I've killed before." If I squinted hard enough I could see the color drain from her face, making her paler then normal.

"Oh. Is it… hard?" Before I could answer her a flash of red caught my eye. Gaara was moving quickly towards the exit, a group of young pretty women chatting away just a few feet in front of him. My eyes narrowed before I quickly shot up from my seat along the curb.

"He's making a move, lets go." We all quickly gathered our stuff and started speed walking towards the exit, Gaara's wild red locks within view a few yards ahead through the crowd. I struggled to push my way through the crowd, finding myself being pushed back more then I was moving forward. 'Dammit!' I internally cursed as the target slipped from my sights.

"Any body got eyes!" I snapped through the intercom. I scanned the clearing for any sign of red but came up empty.

"He turned left 10 paces ahead." Sasuke said. I glanced to where he was pointing and quickly dashed to the road.

"AMAYA WAIT!" Naruto shouted as I ran into the busy street. Cars beeped erratically all around me but I didn't care. Everything seemed to slow as I spun in a circle desperately looking for the target. I didn't notice Hinata frantically waving for my attention, nor did I hear Naruto and Sasuke screaming for me to move. I had found him. Those gorgeous eyes that I still didn't know the color of stared back at me from just a few yards away. I reached forward but was yanked back abruptly. Seconds later a car wizzed by just mere inches from my nose. I stared wide eyed at the spot I had been in moments before.

"You idiot, you trying to get yourself killed!" Sasuke snapped at me, but I didn't care. When I looked back to where Gaara was standing, he was gone.

"And then she nearly let herself get ran over" Sasuke finished his report on the earlier recon mission. I pouted as Lady Tsunade raised a thin brow at me.

" I did not nearly let myself get run over dammit, I had eyes on the target!" I didn't mention how the target also had eyes on ME. I replayed the scene over and over in my head and there was no mistaken that Gaara had been looking directly at me. My neck burned at the thought and I scowled. If he hasn't figured out I'm an agent, then maybe he's marked me as his next victim. 'Let him come.' I grinned languidly at the thought of luring Gaara into a trap. I wasn't the best at flirting but I was positive I fit his type good enough to distract him long enough to take him down.

"Amaya." I snapped back to reality as Tsunade's voice cut through my thoughts.

"Yes ma'am?" I folded my hands behind my back and rocked innocently forward. I didn't want to admit that I had completely zoned out during the entire report.

"You will be staying with Sasuke for the time being while Naruto and Hinata stay together. We've arranged for you all to have apartments in the center of Gaara's hunting grounds so you all can get to the scenes quickly if anything were to happen." I scowled at that.

"Why do I have to be paired with the emo agent?" I glared up at Sasuke as he snorted beside me.

"Right like I wanna live with an obsessive control freak who has a temper that can make Satan cower." He rolled his eyes before shoving his hands in his pockets. I ignored the stupid idiot beside me in favor of asking my most recent question.

"Can I approach him?" The room came to a standstill as my words sunk into the rooms occupants minds. They were all staring back at me with various degrees of bewilderment.

"You wanna what? Amaya, You know Gaara is dangerous!?" Naruto Asked incredulously. I rolled my eyes before straightening up and facing Lady Tsunade.

"You're not stupid, you know just as well as I do that I'm his type. He SAW me today, like deadass stared into my soul. If I've truly caught his attention then he's going to come for me anyway. Why not speed things up and go to him?" Tsunade nodded her head slowly like she was bouncing the idea around in her head.

"It's a good plan. Dangerous, but good. Are you confident you can get him to lower his guard." I gave a swift nod of my head. "Very well, just be careful"

"To do this I will need to be living on my own though." Tsunade scowled harshly at that, mouth opening to object but Sasuke beat her to it.

"It will be fine, I will be living close on the look out in case anything happens." Tsunade didn't seem all that pleased but we finally convinced her before she shooed us all out.

"Well let's all go unpack at our new apartments, how bout a party yeah!" Naruto cheered as we exited the building. Sasuke smacked his head while Hinata giggled.

"We-we need to set up surveillance so we can monitor his movements."

"I'm going to move in next to him." Everyone stopped an stared at me but I kept walking ahead. I knew this wasn't going to be easy, but if I wanted close to that guy I was gonna have to go behind enemy lines.

"Um, well we don't even know where he lives." Naruto pointed out. I gritted my teeth as I stared at the bustling streets of Tokyo. It was only 5 in the afternoon but it seemed like the entire city was up and about.

"Well then, I'll just have to find him."
