She was holding a mirror while putting on some lipstick. "I wish Momma was here. Before every pageant, she always gives me the same awesome pep talk. 'We didn't drive two days straight so you could play with the fancy-flush toilets! Now get your dress on!' This is my thing, and you can count on that!"

And another chapter's here! I know the past few chapters are a little short, but that pace will change soon. Now, my opinion on Sugar? Well, I won't sugarcoat it; Sugar is my least favorite gen three character and least favorite villain. I'll give her points for getting some people booted, unlike Scarlett, but the reason behind it just...stank. I mean, in canon, she tricked Ella into singing before sending an 'Ug-nomynous' note booting her. The problem is that she booted her out of pure spite. If Sugar was written better, she could've at least waited until her team lost before sending that note, giving her a safety net. Canon Sugar also caused Jasmine's elimination, but this was unintentional. Still, like most of the gen three characters, she could've been written better so that she could've been a fairly good villain, maybe along the lines of Jo or Courtney. Plus, it would've been a bit unfair to make Sugar the first boot. Not even she deserves that.
