Mollie was finding out the sex of the baby tomorrow. She was very excited and so was Randy. It was night time. Mollie was sitting up in bed scrolling through her phone. She felt the mattress move. She didn't look up but Nick was crawling towards her from the foot of the bed. They hadn't had sex since Nick moved back in.

"Babe." He said.

"Hmm?"

"Come here."

She put her phone down and when she looked up she realized what he wanted. "Oh, that's what you want huh?"

"Yes, please." "I want you." "I miss being close to you."

"Alright." They kissed.

Afterwards Nick was asleep. Mollie couldn't sleep so she put on Nick's and went downstairs to make a snack. As she was making her snack she got a text. It read.

Are you still awake? - Randy

Yes, the baby and I are having pickles and peanut butter. - Mollie

I can't sleep. I'm to excited. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Mollie smiled.

I'm excited to. - Mollie

I kind of want a little girl. Which do you want? - Randy

I'm hoping for a boy but I'll be happy with either one. - Mollie

The next afternoon Mollie was just getting out of her car at the doctor's office.

"Hi Moll." Randy said coming up to her.

"Hi."

He smiled noticing she was showing. "You look great."

"Thanks."

Mollie was on an examination table.

"Congratulations, it's a girl." The doctor said.

Mollie was happy it was a girl but she was even more happy when she looked over and saw Randy's face lighting up.

Mollie and Randy were walking through the parking lot.

"Wanna go to lunch?" He asked.

"Sure."

They were at a restaurant.

"She'll be a beautiful little girl." Randy said.

"I know."

"How is Allison taking this?"

"She knows you're the father but I don't think she fully understands."

"She'll be a great big sister."

"I can't wait to tell her."

"How are you and Nick doing?"

"Good." "Allison's happy to have him home."

"Are you?"

"I want things to work out."

Later that night Nick still wasn't home from work yet. Mollie's cell phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi babe." Nick said.

"Hi."

"What did the doctor say?"

"It's a girl."

"That's great."

"Where are you?"

"I'm still at work." "I have to pull an all nighter for this presentation I have to give tomorrow."

"Ok."

"Let's have lunch together tomorrow."

"Alright."

"I love you."

"I love you too." "Bye."

"Bye." They hung up.

Nick was lying. He wasn't at work. He was in the second floor hallway at Becca's. He went into the bedroom where she was waiting for him in bed naked
