It took a month for Mollie and Nick's divorce to be finalized. They had been divorced for three months. Nick moved in with Becca. Mollie was due in a few days. Randy was coming to stay with Mollie and Allison until the baby came and to help with after. Mollie was ready for the baby to come. She was extremely uncomfortable. She was sitting on the couch with Allison watching TV. There was a knock at the door. Mollie looked at Allison.
"Can you get that for mommy please?" Mollie asked.
"Yes mommy." She got up and answered the door. Randy was standing there with his suitcase. "Hi uncle Randy."
"Hi." He went inside. "How are you?"
"Good."
"How's your mommy?"
"Her feet are puffy looking."
Randy went into the living room.
"Hi Moll." He said.
"Hi Randy."
"How are you feeling?"
"I want her to come out."
"I know." "Don't worry about a thing." "I've got Allison covered." "You can rest or whatever."
"Thank you."
Randy turned to Allison.
"Wanna play a game after I unpack my stuff in the guest room?" He asked.
"Yeah." Allison said.
"Give me a few minutes." Randy went upstairs.
"Wanna play with us mommy?"
"Mommy's gonna take a nap."
Later that night at around one o'clock Mollie was sitting in the living room. Randy came down the stairs.
"Hi." Mollie said seeing Randy.
"Hi." "I was using the bathroom and saw a light on down here." He sat down next to her. "What are you still doing up?" He sat down next to her.
"I can't sleep." "I have heartburn."
"Poor thing."
"I'm hoping she'll come really soon."
"Can I tell you something?"
"Yeah."
"I'm nervous about the baby."
"That's ok." "It's normal to feel nervous."
"It is?"
"Of course." "I was nervous when I was pregnant with Allison." "You'll be a great father."
"Have you thought more about names?"
"What do you think of the name, Adrian."
"I like it."
"Do you want to pick the middle name?"
"Patricia."
"Ok." "Thank you for coming here."
"I wanted to." "I want to make sure you and the baby are as comfortable as possible."
