Mitth'atal'ki: Red guardian

Mitth'atal'ki is the daughter of Thrawn and a Dathomiri witch, incredibly talented and force sensitive she is to be trained for the red guard. But Atal'ki, or Kiwi, as her friends call her, has no wish to serve the evil empire. Escaping from the Imperial palace to which she was confined she returns to an abandoned undercity docking port to see her friends only to find disaster.

3. The palace

Atal'ki looked up at the imperial palace in awe. She had never seen anything this big in her entire life, her father, Grand Admiral Thrawn escorted her to the front desk before leaving to report to the Chimera.

"Ah, you must be Atal'ki, I was expecting you." An ancient threepio unit tottered around the desk and gestured for her to follow it.

"The emperor himself asked me to show you to your room, and to introduce you to masters Keith and Ornyx." The droid said, leading her through the grand hallways of the imperial palace

"Who are they?" Atal'ki asked, barely able to keep the awe out of her voice

"Master Ornyx, from the shadow guard, and master Keith from the red." The droid said, as if it should have been obvious.

After several minutes of walking the reached a long, dark hallway.

"Ah, here we are, this is your room, here is your key" The droid droned, handing her the key.

"Oh, and also, Lord Sidious wished me to inform you that, while residing in the imperial palace or serving in the imperial guard, you cannot use an ethnic name like Atal'ki. While here you will go by Sekhmet." The droid said all this as if it were a simple matter.

"AH and one more thing, you may not leave the palace without direct permission from the emperor himself, your Datapad is on the desk. Good day." With that the droid tottered off to go offend somebody else.

Atal'ki stood in the middle of her room, trying to process everything that had just happend, though she was bright for a six year old, she was still six. Eventually, she opened the window and sat on the ledge, and she stayed like that for the rest of the day.

Unknown to Grand Admiral Thrawn was a small comlik, a gift from Vsae, Coral, and Horn (But mostly Coral because she was the only one with credits). So, late that night when most in the palace were sleeping, Kiwi was talking to her friends.

"HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" Vsaes little sister jumped up an down at the edge of the screen

"Hi Djatti" Kiwi said laughing

"Hor, where'r you staying tonight?" Coral demanded

"Dumpster on second street. Its very roomy" Horn said

"And smelly!" Djatti addad, still hopping up and down

"An smelly" Horn agreed

"What did you guys do today? I haven't seen you guys in a while, hopefully exams will end next week." Coral said

"Today I cleaned my room, and next week's my birthday!" Vsae pitched in

"12 right?" Coral asked

"Yah, and I get to start 6th grade!" He added happily

"What about you, Kiwi?" Vase asked

"Today I got shown around by an anti alien droid who made me change my name." She said casually

"Oof" Coral added ]

"Yah, you should rewire his circuits!" Horn suggested

"Yah, he deserves it." Vsae agreed

"I gotta go, mums calling, see you tomorrow?" Vsae asked

"Yeah sure, how about by the old docking port on level 7?" Kiwi offered

"OK works for me, you guys up for it?" Vsae asked

"Yea, sure" Coral agreed

"see you then!" Horn piped.
