"Nia calm down." Brainy said when Nia called him in a hurry. Nia calmed a little, she was panic after her last dream, she hoped she just miss interpret it, she needed him to reassured her that she made a mistake, because if something happen to kara and she could've prevented it, she would never forgive her self.
"Ok, calm down and tell me, what happen" Brainy said, "Ok, so i was in the med-bay level of the D.E.O, i looked around but nothing was out of the ordinary, all i saw was a few room, i enter one of them but it was empty in fact they were all empty except the last one. I opened the door and i saw monel, Lena, kelly and J'onn, they were sleeping on chairs in the corner of the room." Nia pause
"There also was Alex and Eliza beside the bed they were both holding the hand of the person in the bed. I walked closer to the bed and I... I saw kara. She was attach to several wires, she was so pale with and she had oxygen masque on her face." "Did you notice anything else?" Brainy ask a little worried about what nia had just said. " Uh yah after i saw kara i realized that the room was i little green like if there was a green light attached to the ceiling, when i tried to look were it was coming from i woke up. "Nia said, she was upset that she didn't had the chance to look more. "ok where are you now?" "At my apartment why?" Nia ask. "I'm coming and we are try and see if we can find something else." "ok." Nia said before hanging up.
Four weeks had past since Nia's dream, she'd try with brainy to find anything, but she didn't find anything else. She told alex and j'onn, they were both worried because it wouldn't be a surprise if who ever tried to kill kara, would try again, but they didn't want to worry kara so they told nia not to say anything, she didn't say anything even if she wanted to so kara could be more careful.
Kara and alex were in the D.E.O control room, they had just captured a group of alien causing trouble in National city. "So... What are you and kelly doing for your one year anniversary tonight?" Kara ask with a big grin on her face. "Oh Nothing much" Alex said." Come one, I'm sure you have every little detail of how this date is gonna go, so tell." Alex smiled and shook her head, because of course kara would want to know every single detail of her plans for the night.
"Well if you must know..." Alex joked. " Kelly and i are going to this cute restaurant and i bought her a neckless that i found, i thought it was really cute." Alex reach in her pocket and took out a large box, she open the box showing a neckless with a silver chain and the infinity symbol attach to it.
Kara started to bounce up and down in joy for her sister. "That's so cute and romantic." " I know right, i can wait for tonight." Alex said exited. At this moment Monel flew in by the entry way, he approach the D.E.O control center where kara and alex were hanging out. "Hey Mon. what are you doing here?" Kara ask when she saw him. "i was just wondering if you wanted to grab lunch?" He ask "yeah of course." Kara said, she then turn to alex, said her goodbyes then left with monel.
Monel and Kara weren't even half way through there lunch when kara started to feel the effected of the kryptonite, it wasn't much at first, she just thought she was tired, but as there lunch went on, she felt more and more sick. When there lunch ended kara's vision was starting to swim a little, monel was getting worry, he could see that there was something wrong with kara the moment the walk out of the restaurant, he notice that kara was swaying unsteadily on her feet and kept rubbing her temple. " Are you feeling okay Kara?" Monel ask. "Huh? Yeah I'm... I'm fine, Just a little tired." "Maybe we should go back to the apartment? You don't look so good." Monel asked concerned. "yah maybe you're right." Kara said.
It wasn't to long of a flight from the place they were, to kara's apartment, but kara's flight was slowing down and she was struggling to keep up with Monel. Halfway through kara's flight stopped, Monel catches her before flying her the rest of the way.
Monel placed Kara on the couch and kneeled beside her. "Hey what's wrong?" He ask. " I don't know, i just don't feel well" kara said whilst rubbing her forehead. "What do you mean?" "I feel dizzy and nauseous, everything hurt, especially my head." "okay, I'm gonna call alex, she'll know what to do." Kara shock her head, no. "Don't call her." " Why not?" " Her one year anniversary with kelly is tonight i really don't wanna to bother her. Just bring me to the D.E.O." Monel hesitate for a second before nodding, pick the girl up in his harm and flying her to the D.E.O.
It took less then 2 minutes for monel to get to the D.E.O, kara had pass out during the flight. Monel landed in the D.E.O searching for j'onn, he quickly spotted him, he was hunched over the main circular desk in the D.E.O control room. "J'onn!" Monel shout to get his attention.
J'onn looked up from what he was doing to see who was calling, What he saw almost made him drop his files, he saw monel walking toward him carrying a pale looking kara. J'onn ran toward them. "What's wrong with her?" the Martian ask. "I don't know, all i know is that when she was awake, she was in a lot of pain." J'onn touch the earpiece that was in his ear. "Yes, I need doctors and a stretcher in the main floor now."
After a minute 3 doctor came in with a stretcher, Monel deposit Kara on the stretcher and watch as the doctor carried her away.
