AN: I got a really good review and most of what it said was true so I'll try to implementchanges to my writing from my next chapter cause I'm already 1,600 words in when I saw it soo yeah it's from and I agree about it being rushed it's probably because iwriting it at 3 in the morning.Also I feel as if in this current chapter I got lake very wrong and only maybe at the end was she kinda the same. Im making the timeline different maybe (I don't know the actual timeline) so Blake will have left the white fang probably a lot earlier so she should be a lot more trusting since she's younger but I'll try my best to do this right. It also went completely over my head that he'd try to be quite since he believes that he's in Naruto.
I got another positive review which helped motivate me to (hopefully) write a better chapter this time
And finally I got one saying it's terrible and that why would I give him the powers of the Akatsuki then nerf him. In response to this I would like to say that I may have worded it weird but what I meant was that he will be just as strong as all members but he won't suddenly just be able to perform techniquesthese prodigies that lives there entire life which chakra and had professional teachers spend ages learning and mastering.
"Well mine is Max ... say you don't look too good how long has it been since you last ate" wondered" Max aloud keeping his ever present worried tone
"It doesn't matter it's not like it's got anything to do with you" answers Blake still not comfortable with being friends with him.
"All I'm hearing is that it has been too long and that I'm going too help you got it" says Max as he finishes pulling out all the scrolls.
"But you don't even know me why would you help me" Blake cries out with tears in her eyes as Max continues to challenge her very beliefs.
" why do I need to know you you look as if you need help that's all there is to it and that you don't seem to be a bad person... your not a bad person right?" said Max as if what he was stating was obvious.
" hehehe I guess I don't have a say in this then so I. By the way what are those scrolls?" Says Blake now accepting her new circumstances.
" that's what I'm trying to find out" mutters Max as he looks at each scroll's colour:
blue(he already opened it)
red with black dots
black with the symbol of Jashin
paper like white colour
purple with rings slowly getting smaller until it reaches the epicentre as a black dot
black with a red scorpion
Yellow with small explosions across it
A orange swirl which has a center on the left side which is a red circle
One covered with ryo(currency used in naruto)
"Well let's try the one covered in Ryo hopefully it contains money" Max says as he unseals it and realises its possessions across the ground.
What comes out is the standard Akatsuki gear and 5 different masks as all instructions on how to wield the jiongu. Max grabs the Akatsuki cloak and searches its pockets for anything that may have value, luckily one of his pockets was filled to the brim with gold.( I know kakazu would have had Ryo but I needed to give Max money some Howard it must be inconvenient to carry over 30mil worth of Ryo in your pockets)
" say hehehe would you happen to know a place where I can sell this gold" Max asks as he scratches the back of his head nervously.
" well I've heard from people that gold is often used in high quality weapons so you should just go to the nearest one" Blake answers looking very nervous when she talked about the people she heard it from.
" That has given me more questions than it answered but you don't look to comfortable with the subject so I won't ask but if you need to get it off your chest in here... also where actually is the nearest weapon store and don't ask about the scrolls please " replies Max as he goes about reselling all of the kakazu's gear except the scroll about the jiongu.
"Wait so you're telling me that you offered to take me out for a meal without any money!!" Shouts a shocked Blake
" when you put it like that it sounds really bad but I knew there had to be something valuable in one of these scrolls so I did but I didn't" answers Max half heartedly paying more attention to the scroll about how to wield the jiongu.
"Hmm I'm not from around here but thre are tonnes dotted about everywhere for hunters so we should probably just wander" Blake tells Max
Blake an Max travel out of the alley and down the street they walk together and talk about various things like normal friends do. Eventually they come across a sign saying
"Ragnar'sWeapon Shop"
"Well this looks to be the place" Max says surprised at how pristine and well kept this place is especially for a shop that seems to focus on weapons if the guns and blades in the windows were anything to judge by.
Max and Blake walk through the door as the bell chimes to inform the shop keeper that they have customers. Inside the shop are many different things from weapon magazines to different types of bullets. There were an even larger variety of weapons some looked just dumb like who would wield a guitar that's just dumb. Max walked over to the counter.
"Err is it possible for me to sell gold here because I have no use for it *nervous laughter* " says Max barely loud enough for the shop keeper to hear him.
" CHAHAHA of course you can sell gold it is very valuable in these parts where did you even get it from" exclaims the shopkeeper in a rambunctious tone.
"So how much money would I get from this" Max asks as he placed down a bag of gold.
"Of course that is a very large amount of gold CHAHAHA I'll give 120 thousands pounds for all that" shouted the shopkeeper
(AN: I chose this amount because Asumasbounty is 30 million Ryo which is what google told me is equal to over 1mil200 thousand pounds which is way to much so yeah)
" well that's more than I expected ok i'll take it " says Max as him and the shop keeper traded over the item
"CHAHAHA with this I'll be able to make a great weapon thank you" said the shopkeeper
"Eh no problem I needed the money" Max said in surprise
"Kid use this money to take the girl you came in with on a nice date after all you seem very close" states the shopkeeper
"W whw what no I've only just me her and and she barely considers me her friend" mutters Max as his face flushes red.
"Well kid she looks to be comfortable around you so it is better than you think" replies the shopkeeper.
"Huh I guess so but I still don't think that we're that close. Anyway I have to go now so bye mr?" Said Max only just realising that he never caught the shop keepers name.
" ahh the names Ragnar I'll so some other time lad then" replies Ragnar
Max makes his way out of the shop and greets Blake. They both begin walking to a restaurant they saw earlier whilst attempting to find this shop.
"What was that nervous laughter at the start" mocks Blake they walk side by side.
"Hehehe I'm really like very very bad with people" said Max
" wow I couldn't tell" continues Blake in a sarcastic tone.
" I thought I did a good job hiding it until now" states Max in a shocked tone as he pulls out the scroll he was reading from earlier.
" well whispering under your breathe about always wanting to say a specific quote is not a good start for hiding that your bad with people" Blake mocks once again.
"WAIT YOU HEARD THAT" shouts Max in a mix of surprise and embarrassment."oh yeah cat ears"mutters Max
By now both Max and Blake have reached the restaurant called
Lighter than life
They both enter and order a meal each. They have a nice conversation and some playful jokes like about how Blake like fish so much and then they get there food and eat. During this time Blake who has been rather stoic the entire time has started to smile and seems to enjoy her time with Max like he is slowly breaking through her shell.
After the meal they both go and buy some new clothes seeing as they both have only one pair each. They continue on their day and generally have a good time as they continue to stroll around. Max has a slight smile on his face from seeing Blake acting with more and more emotion throughout the day although the increase isn't by very much and most wouldn't notice without paying attention. At this point that have reached a park.
"OH NO I've just realised " shouts Max randomly causing Blake to hold her cat ears and hiss in pain."that was a bit of an over reaction" mutters Max.
"I heard that." Bites back Blake in response to his comment
"And why do I care if you did or not it's true" replies Max in mock angry.
"Hahahaha" they both laugh together at the absurdity of the argument."though why did you shout in the first place" questions Blake
"I just realised that we have no where to stay unless you know an inn nearby where I can rent us both rooms" says Max
" umm why would you be renting me a room" asks Blake suspiciously after all just because she enjoyed her time with him doesn't mean she trusts him.
" Well because your my friend of course and you wouldn't have been in that condition If had a place to stay at" States Max as if it is as obvious as the sky being blue but with a clear under tone of worry.
"W..why why are going so so so far for someone you don't know and have only just met I could be a criminal for all you know" cries out Blake with tears threatening to spill from her amber eyes looking like the sun reflecting off of a waterfall.
"Even if you are a criminal I believe you to be a good person so I'll stick with you till the end. Not only that you need help and your clearly hurt on the side so I'll stick by you till it's healed cause that's what friends are for" announces Max like a shounen protagonist with the big grin and thumbs up to go with it.
"That speech was terrible and you look dumb like that" said Blake still sniffling and in a quiet tone."oh yeah we still have the problem of there being no inns inside the city" continues Blake
(AN:since vale is a kingdom I'm going to expand on it so that there will be many cities inside of it whilst writing this my internet want down so I kinda can't watch rwby anytime soon so yeah)
"Shh don't worry we'll deal with that later but for now relax and calm down" whispers Max as he pulls who flinches attouch and they both sit down on the ground.
Slowly Blake's breathing began to slow down and quieten as she slowly falls asleep. Unsurprisingly Max also falls asleep with his head rested atop of hers.
AN: originally I had anotherparagraph and was going to write a lot more but I didn't since Ihad stuff to do and my cousins which are both under the age of 6 were at my house.
I'm planning to write one chapter every week and it's going tobe released every Wednesday
I was going to watch rwby and then started watching Tokyo revengers sorry
