"February 26, time to get ready," Leizcio told himself as he got up out of bed. It's been a little bit around two weeks since Leizcio fought against Osore, that crime boss. It was one helluva day for him, but he's been given time to recover. However, today is the day that he's been looking forwards to. The day of the UA entrance exam.

He's spent hours studying academic materials, and days training his quirk. He got to understand his quirk more and the different ways it could be used. As he got out his clothes to change into, he went and took a quick warm shower to clear his mind. Relieved of any leftover stress and tension, he quickly changes into his middle school uniform and packs black shorts and a lavender tanktop into his backpack. Going downstairs, he's greeted by Lavania working the cafe. Some of the loyal customers gave him pats on the back and wished him luck as he exited the cafe.

Making his way towards the station, he got a quick text from Tamashi, telling him how he'll ace this exam. He thanked her and put his phone away as he approached the station. Waiting for a bit, he saw Uraraka walking towards where he was. Leizcio waved and Uraraka did the same.

"Hey, Uraraka! You ready for the exam?" Leizcio asked.

"Yeah! Just kind of nervous you know?"

"Fair, but I think we're going to do well on it!"

Shortly after, the train arrives, and both get aboard and talk on the way to UA. Leizcio thinks to himself of what kind of people he'll meet there. Admittedly in middle school, he never really went out of his way to make friends. Mostly because they'd lose interest if they learned that he was quirkless. Yeah, he might've gotten a quirk a bit before it ended, but what'd be the point of being friends with people who treat those who are quirkless differently? Shaking the thought away, Leizcio and Uraraka arrived at the stop and began to approach UA, their dream school.

Making their way down the path, they both spot a green-haired kid walking nervously. Is he okay? Leizcio thought to himself. Turns out he wasn't, poor fella ended up tripping. Luckily, Uraraka used her quirk, making him float a bit. While she deactivated her quirk, Leizcio slowly put the guy down, returning to his spot.

"Are you okay?" Uraraka asked

Broccoli kid stood there and didn't say a thing. Leizcio was concerned about this guy.

"It's my quirk. Sorry for using it without asking first. But it'd be bad luck if you fell right?" Uraraka continued.

Leizcio couldn't help but feel a tad bit awkward. Maybe broccoli kid is nervous?

"Aren't you nervous?" She asked continuing the "conversation".

"Uh-"

'Hey, some kind of response!' Leizcio thought to himself.

"Let's do our best! See ya! Let's go Villa!"

"I'll catch up soon, just gotta tie my shoe." Leizcio lied, mostly concerned about the guy next to him. Before he's able to say anything, broccoli head murmurs something quietly.

"I talked to a girl!"

Leizcio is now very concerned and worried for this guy. Giving him a soft pat on his shoulder, he tells him,

"Sure you did champ, now c'mon, we got an exam to ace."

Leizcio then quickly caught up with Uraraka and entered the place where the exam orientation would be held. Sitting next to each other, they patiently waited for the orientation to begin. As the students around them began to settle down, they saw Present Mic come up to the podium.

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say Hey!"

Complete silence rang through the room. Not a single soul spoke a word.

Disappointed that there was no response, Present Mic continues with the orientation.

"What a fine response. Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam!"

"Are you ready? Yeah!" Present Mic shouts, hoping for a response.

But yet again, no words are spoken, however, Leizcio swears he could hear some muttering coming from somewhere.

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this! You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"

Looking at their exam tickets, Leizcio saw that he was in battle center E. Uraraka showed him her ticket, and Leizcio did the same. Turns out that Uraraka was in battle center B. Probably kept it so that people from the same school couldn't team up with each other.

The screen behind Present Mic displayed a city and some bots with numbers that were points no less. Leizcio was getting a bit tired of the presentation and blanked out a bit. He's brought back by Uraraka shaking his shoulder.

"Villa c'mon! We gotta head to our battle areas!"

"Oh damn, it's done? Alright then."

They both wish each other good luck as they head to their respective areas. Leizcio boarded the bus that'd take them to the area. While he had sat down, dressed in his workout clothes, he can't help but see that people brought some gear with them. He would, but he can't exactly use the same suit he used as a vigilante for reasons. Next to him sat down a blonde who interestingly had a black lightning bolt in his hair. If Leizcio is going to be more extroverted, now would be a good time right? The guy seems rather laid-back so it should be fine. Hopefully.

"Hey man, I like the bolt in your hair, is it from your quirk?"

"Yeah! I got an electrification quirk! What about you?

Nice, the first person he talks to is someone who has a quirk like him. Pretty lucky of him that that guy sat next to him.

"Kind of have a similar quirk, I basically run fast and can make electricity when I run!"

"Woah! That's a cool quirk! Oh and I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Denki Kaminari! What's your name?"

"I'm Leizcio Villa! Great meeting you! How're you feeling right about now?"

"Pretty good! Considering these are bots I can easily overload them with my quirk!"

"Oh yeah huh! Well, I think we both got a good chance of acing this test. Hopefully, when we're in UA we end up seeing each other!"

"Course dude!"

The bus finally reaches its stop and students rush out of the bus, and stand in front of an extremely large gate. While they did say battle areas, Leizcio wasn't expecting them to be the size of an actual small city.

"Kinda huge isn't it?" Kaminari asked him.

"Yeah, no kidding."

Leizcio notices that the gates start to creak open, and he hears Present Mic say,

"Okay start!"

That's all Leizcio needed to hear. He quickly grabbed Kaminari gently and put him in front of the crowd as a kind gesture. He then bolted off leaving the rest of his competition in the dust. If Leizcio hopes of getting becoming a hero, he has to make his mark at UA. He immediately finds a few one-pointers near the starting area and uses his speed and electricity to easily destroy them. 5 points down. After taking them down, he starts to see students rushing into the city. Wasting no time, he runs off, finding as many bots as he can to destroy.

Leizcio was able to destroy a high amount of bots in a short amount of time. From what his sister told him, getting about 55 or something is good enough to pass. But he's not going to go and take every single one for himself. Others deserve a chance to be here.

"There's like 3 minutes left, what should I do?" Leizcio asked himself while sitting, watching students beat down the bots. Looks like a warzone down there, bits of metal flying all over the place. He saw Kaminari shocking multiple bots out of function. Leizcio also saw a girl who looked like a frog defeating them with ease. Quite amazing to see how determined and strong these people are.

Leizcio begins to feel the floor rumble, looking around him, he sees a large silhouette begin to form and rise. Looking up, he sees the zero pointer bot looming over them.

"Fuck that."

Leizcio quickly runs to a safe distance, carrying Kaminari with him.

"Hey man, you okay?" Leizcio asks him.

"What was that? Did you run me over here?"

"Yeah, my bad jus-

"Villa that was cool! I didn't even know that I moved!"

"Oh uh thank you? But yeah no worries, electricity homies gotta stick together!" Leizcio said offering him a fistbump.

"Course man!" Kaminari said returning the bump.

Looking through the dust, Leizcio sees, ... a red-haired person? Wait why is he just standing there. Oh god, he's not gonna try and, fuck.

Leizcio quickly runs over to the red-haired dude, for some reason he was shirtless. Anyways, he picked him up and ran him out before he could be crushed by the zero-pointer's foot.

"Look man, unless you're invincible or something, you would've ended up being roadkill."

"C'mon man that was crazy! Don't go around doing that!" Kaminari butted in.

"You know you might have a point there." The red-haired guy said, rather quite the sharp person, but not in intelligence.

"Eijorou Kirishima, thanks for pulling me out of there! That was manly!"

Leizcio was a bit confused at the word choice but hey must be a compliment.

"Course no problem, I'm Leizcio Villa."

"And I'm Denki Kaminari!"

"Time's up!" Present Mic yells as an alarm rings throughout the area signifying the end of the test.

"I think the three of us did pretty good huh?" Leizcio asked as the three began to walk towards the bus.

"Yeah! I hope we see each other again at UA!"

"Same here man!"

The three return back to the UA entrance and exchange contacts before taking their way back home. Leizcio waits at the station, waiting for Uraraka to accompany him. While he waits, he texts Lavania saying he's finished the exam and did well on the practical exam. Lavania texts him saying that she'll be cooking something special for dinner for when he comes back. Still waiting, Leizcio puts on his earbuds and puts on some 90's music to listen to while he waits for Uraraka.

"Villa are you ready?" Uraraka asks, shaking him gently waking him up.

"Yea, sorry, kinda snoozed a bit there."

Getting on the train, Leizicio and Uraraka talk to each other about how the exam went for each of them.

"Wait so you're telling me that green-haired guy destroyed the zero point bot with just one punch?"

"Kinda, he broke his arm and his two legs doing so, but it was so cool!"

"Damn lucky, I had to save someone who thought it'd be a good idea to stand below the zero pointer."

The two continued off with how they're confident that they scored well enough on the practical exam and written exam. Once the train reached their destination, they both walked back home, splitting off at one point. When Leizcio got to the cafe, he could smell the spices of curry being cooked from the kitchen upstairs. He runs upstairs and looks at the pot.

"You're making chicken katsu curry?!" Leizcio asked excitedly, with his mouth watering just imagining the taste of it.

"Course! You did good on the exam, figure that you should get something good to celebrate that!"

"Thanks, Lav."

Leizcio quickly takes a shower and puts on some comfortable clothes. Going back to the living room, he throws himself onto the couch, with pech doing the same thing. Pech begins purring and Leizcio pets him while he puts on something to watch. Lavania soon walks out with plates ready. The two enjoy a good dinner and Leizcio's first step to becoming a pro-hero.

A while after they're done eating, they clean up and decide to go to bed early. Leizcio walks into his room and throws himself on the bed. It was a good day, he got to make more friends and is close to entering UA. Now he just has to wait.
