Grim Strider woke me up one night and said, "9292, you are one of the 50 remaining test subject within the perfect assassin program, however or mysterious Benefactor has forced us to intensify and also speed the process along, so we will put you into a pit with the other 49 candidates and force you all to fight till the last man, good luck" before picking me up by my arm and dragging my half asleep ass down the corridors of The Terrace till we came to a huge pit almost like the roman Colosseum.

I looked around and noticed the fact that their were other scientists watching as below them 49 other kids around the age of 10 were fighting each other, the screams…the clashing of steel, it was a sound I would never forget.

Grim Strider then tossed a sword in my hand and said, "kill them all 9292" before tossing me in.

As I fell I blacked out and woke up back in my bed in Olympus drenched in sweat. These nightmares were getting worse and worse. Looking at my alarm clock I realized it was 3 in the morning.

"fuck it, I'm wide awake now" I groaned getting up and putting on a pair of sweatpants and a black t-shirt.

I went down to make myself some coffee when a voice chuckled saying, "nice home you have here"

I intensively pulled out a gun and pointed it at the figure who was sitting in my seat.

"who are you?" I growled.

The figure turned on a lamp and said, "really Jango, do you not remember me"

I chuckled and said, "by the gods Abdul I could have killed you!"

Abdul got up and said, "you are not an easy person to track Mr. Arkino"

I sighed and said, "apparently I am if you were able to track me, so what brings you to my little home"

Abdul held up a flier and said, "I am here to train you some more before the UA sports festival"

I raised my eye and said, "are the assassins planning on killing people at this festival?"

Abdul waved his hand and said, "no however it is very good for business if the winner happens to be a registered assassin, and after looking in to what your quirk is, I think I may be a good teacher"

I chuckled and said, "well, we can discuss this over a cup of coffee, how do you take it"

Abdul smiled and sat down at the table and said, "a little bit of cream three sugars, how about you?"

I reached into the cupboard and pulled out a bag of Persian coffee beans and started to grind them up, "I take mine Black with a shot of espresso and a shot of vanilla" I said.

Abdul whistled and said, "damn that's intense for someone so young"

I laughed and said, "well considering what I've gone through"

Abdul sighed and said, "ah yes…the dark legion"

I looked back at him a bit shocked, "you know about my involvement!"

Abdul laughed and said, "of course I do, when I found out about Haruka's death I decided to do some digging of my own, he may not have been on my payroll but I knew he was a good man, that didn't have a bounty out on his head, that's when I found out about the dark legion, and when you came to visit us, I saw the same sigil on that brief case of yours and well I put two and two together and figured out that you were a legionnaire"

I guess I should have seen this coming, "so you're here to attack me"

Abdul laughed again and said, "not at all my dear boy, like I said I am here to train you for the UA sports festival, now take a seat while the coffee is brewing and I'll tell you something all of us weapon summoner types have in common"

I took a seat and said, "weapon summoner types, I've never heard that type of quirk before"

Abdul looked at me and said, "it's not a classification most people talk about, considering how rare it is, you think warp type quirks are rare, our types of quirks, just like your fathers are the rarest of them all, our quirks don't just create weapons, we summon them, like magic"

If quirks didn't exist I would have called him mad, "so what makes our quirk so unique?"

Abdul smiled and said, "the very earth is part of our quirk"

I laughed a bit and said, "so your saying I can turn the very ground beneath me into a huge sword made of the very earth".

Abdul shook his head and said, "no, but you can use it to do things like this" before suddenly materializing a huge hammer next to me out of thin air!

"woah!" I said a bit shocked.

Abdul smiled and said, "we can trace our weapon summoning quirk to Gilgamesh"

"the Babylonian King? He had a quirk?" I said in a confusing tone.

Abdul nodded and said, "although it is not mentioned with in the epics of Gilgamesh it has been passed down from each Hassan that Gilgamesh did in fact have the first quirk, yet to the people of his time it was called magic, his Quirk he dubbed the gates of Babylon was an endless arsenal of weapons he can summon"

I do remember hearing something about Gilgamesh's mighty arsenal, but even I assumed it was talking to a physical arsenal not a quirk.

Abdul smiled and said, "you did something similar didn't you…you materialized a weapon from the earth"

I then remembered that blade that sprung up out of the ground and stabbed Tomura in the foot, it might have been that very power.

"so when shall we begin?" I smirked.

Abdul smiled and looked over at the coffee maker and said, "right after coffee".

I chuckled and together the two of us drank our coffee while Abdul went on about his glory days as a pro hero before being recruited into the assassins.

"okay well, my mug is all gone what about yours?" Abdul said walking up and rinsing out his mug.

I finished the rest of my coffee and said, "ready for whatever you have to throw at me Abdul"

Abdul smirked and said, "okay, lets head outside"

I chuckled and tore off my shirt ready to fight once outside Abdul said, "sit with your legs crossed Jango we need to meditate, our type of quirk relies heavily on our mind"

I nodded my head and sat down with my legs crossed.

Abdul then closed his eyes and said, "take nice deep breaths Jango, take the air in, and then let it out slowly, and keep your hands close together, as if your holding a lunch tray between them, and picture in your mind that all the air around you is getting sucked into that area"

I did as he instructed and could feel as though the air was getting thinner.

"this is by far the deadliest power within our quirk category, as it thins the air, so we must reach out even further away from us to generate the air, less we wish to suffocate" Abdul said calmly.

I nodded my head and started to imagine myself taking the air in from farther away and to feel the wait of the air condensing within my hands, and getting heavier, almost like steel.

Abdul smirked and said, "good, with this picture an item, anything at all"

I took a deep breathe in and pictured a toothpick. When I opened my eyes I realized in between my hands was a small toothpick.

"good Job jango, you've mastered the technique" Abdul chuckle before getting up and materializing a Warhammer.

With a grin on his face Abdul said, "okay your job is simple, materialize a blade using the air around you and try to attack me"

I looked a little shocked and said, "but I barely figured this power out!"

Abdul then appeared in front of me and slammed his Warhammer down. Luckily I dodged out of the way before he could hit me.

"I wont stop attacking you until you manage to summon a sword" Abdul smirked while attacking me.

The exercise went on for a good two hours till finally I materialized a small butter knife with the air around me. With a grin on my face, I tried to parry the Warhammer but the knife broke instantly.

"come on Arkino think, Air is a very thin material so to make something substantial you need to use more air!" Abdul grinned while still attacking me.

We kept this up till finally I materialized a Konda blade and parried the attacks.

Abdul laughed as he jumped back, "atta boy Jango!"

I grinned and said, "this felt…different, most of the time all I have to do is envision the weapon I want the material to turn into, but now I have to also focus on gathering all the needed material".

Adbul chuckled and said, "weapon materialization quirks are amongst the rarest quirks in the world, and the most sought after, by militaries, Private security forces, assassins, and villains…heroes don't find them as good considering they always bring in villains alive, but some Weapon Materialization Quirk user, or W.M.Q users as people call them, have been able to figure out work arounds by using air to make non lethal weapons"

I sat down on the ground and said, "who discovered this power"

Abdul sat right next to me and said, " the first to do this was the youngest Hassan, the 14th Hassan I Sabbah, or as we called her Hassan of Serenity , her Quirk made her very skin poison and gave her the ability to generate poison weapons using cute things such as a girls bow or a stuffed animal, one day a man she loved confessed his true feeling to her and, forgetting her quirk, hugged her…the poison killed him almost instantly and broke her heart… after that she dedicated herself to meditation to try and figure out a solution till one day during her meditation the air in between her hands turned into a lily, this gave her the idea to use air for her Quirk and within a matter of days she was able to make a cushion of air on top of her skin to protect people from her quirk as she hugged them"

I whistled and said, "that explains the power but, what else is there to learn?"

Abdul grinned and said, "traps…you can create blades out of thin air now Jango, but lets see you try to use it to create spires"

I grinned and got up and said, "okay old man lets see what the power of Bladromancy is all about!"

Abdul got up and said, "the objective is simple, try and stab me in the foot as I jump around, and don't worry about hurting me, I'm able to take a hit, just picture creating the air in front of you and you'll get the hang of it"

I nodded my head and started to follow Abdul's movements building up air in order to make a strong spike. His movements were all over the place but soon I found the rhythm and on cue I materialized a small spike that stabbed him in the foot.

"aahh that's it arkino!" Abdul laughed.

I rushed over and said, "you okay sensei?"

Abdul smirked and said, "that was by far the best training I have had in a while, now then I must be off, I have done what I can to train you in this art, now it is up to you to figure out all the other implications of Bladromancy young Arkino".

I nodded my head and helped him outside, "do you need a ride back to the Manzil, Abdul?"

Abdul laughed and said, "I'm not that old Arkino and trust me this old assassin has his ways" before suddenly turning to smoke.

I have got to learn that trick one day. For now though I have to train and see just how powerful Bladromancy truly is. I then went back inside and said, "Athena, how long would it take to get to Atlantis"

Athena chuckled and said, "45 minutes by use of the blade mobile"

I smirked and said, "is it all gassed up and ready to go?"

Athena said, "affirmative, shall I pack Tartarus?"

"negative Athena I doubt they'll allow me to bring it along" I grinned and packed a set of clothes and got into the warm interior of my beautifully furbished car and zoomed off to a nearby port.

"Athena…you said Atlantis was at the bottom of the ocean, how will I get there?" I asked looking out.

Athena sighed and said, "this is why I told you to pack Tartarus, it is pressurized and will allow you to navigate the sea, deploying Tartarus"

I looked behind me to see Tartarus's pod slam into my back and shove me into the ocean where I dived deep enough to where Tartarus had to turn on the lights in my helmet as it directed me to Atlantis. Let me just say the Facility was beautiful, and rather…big. Hell it was more like an underwater city if anything, and judging by the style I have to guess it was based of the 1920s aesthetic.

Athena then said, "there is a water terminal about 50 meters to your left, lighting up the runway, I should also mention that Atlantis is one of the few facilities that still has Dark legion scientists and residence"

"wait so I am no longer alone!" I said with a smile.

Athena chuckled and said, "yeah"

Suddenly a voice rung out inside of Tartarus, "unknown civilian please identify yourself or be terminated"

"this is unit 9292 of the perfected Assassin program, I am here to train some more so please open the water terminal for me" I shouted.

The guy on the other end said, "I acknowledge your request 9292, opening hatch now, welcome to Atlantis"

I soon found my way to open glass tube that opened up for me and released the water before opening the bulk head in front of me. As soon as I walked in a lady with black hair, silver eyes and snow white skin ran up to me and said, "welcome to Atlantis 9292 my name is Doris, head of research and training in this facility, if you don't mind I'd love to know what's been going on up there, all communications between Atlantis and the rest of the dark legion was cut off 11 months ago and well…I'm just worried about what's going on, don't get me wrong we can easily live down here for centuries, its just…we would all like to know what's going on so if you could debrief us that would be great".

I sighed and said, "programs been terminated Doris…"

Doris's face dropped as she said, "what do you mean?"

I looked away as I deactivated Tartarus and said, "doctor Minerva, grim strider, all the lab boys at The Terrace were caught once Perfected Assassin was finished and the dark legion as a whole was terminated afterwards, you're the last group of scientists and legionnaires as far as I'm aware"

Doris looked at me and said, "without Minerva…what can we do?"

I looked around and said, "you could become a secret support company that makes high end gear…for the rich"

Doris smiled and said, "that could work but we'll never advertise so we'll have to go by word of mouth"

I then handed Doris the clothing design I was given by Toru and said, "see what you can do with this, the girl's quirk is invisibility"

Doris smiled and said, "okay, so anyways what brings you to Atlantis?"

"I'm training for the UA sports festival" I chuckled

Doris grinned and said, "ah so you want to use Kolossaio well then follow me"

I watched as Doris grinned like a child and led me through the rather….lavish hallways, if I didn't know any better I would say this entire place was its own city, with a mall, eateries, its own entertainment area, et cetera.

"Hey Doris, what can you tell me about Atlantis?" I asked as we walked down a glass corridor with a giant squid swimming right outside of it.

Doris giggled and said, "the facility, the myth, or the legend?"

I sighed and said, "the facility"

Doris grinned and said, "well this was the first Faculty, well okay technically Olympus was the first however that's where the legion got started, by the original founders; Odysseus Hanamura, Thaddeus "Zeus" Anderson, and Haderson Renge, the three of them started the dark legion at Odysseus's house which go on to be called Mount Olympus, the three of them designed weapons for soldiers to combat the quirks in the old days and made millions off of it, turning the weapons business into a private military, however once they got big enough they decided to split off and each focus on a project of their own to improve the dark legion"

We then passed through another lounge area where people were laughing and drinking like there was no tomorrow and with a giggle Doris said, " Haderson went off to make the Underworld sector which dealt with weaponry including Tartarus and even its sister armor Persephone, Odysseus went on to found the other branches and expand the entire private military to encompass the entire world, and lastly Thaddeus went into the ocean and founded great laboratories like Atlantis to help train incoming Legionnaires faraway from prying eyes, currently though Atlantis was his favorite before he passed away, a gleaming city where, as he would put it, the artist would not fear the censor, Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small!"

I laughed and said, "this guy sounds like a fanatic but I have to admit this is rather stylish, though Pegasus has this place beat in my opinion"

Doris chuckled and said, "well...considering how new Pegasus is compared to Atlantis is makes sense, however if you want reliability and always expanding tech with the added bonus of looking stylish nothing beats Atlantis"

I nodded my head and soon Doris lead me to a glass corridor and said, "this will lead you to the Kolossaio where the AI Poseidon is waiting for you, just tell him how you want to train and he'll get you all ready for whatever you need, I'll inform the others about the change…I can assure you though we will always remain here ready to help you out and resurrect the dark legion as a better organization, who knows we may just apply to become a hero organization, considering most of the legionnaires here have their license we could easily become an agency"

I chuckled and said, "good luck Doris and thank you for everything"

Doris grinned and said, "I was only doin mah Job 9292" before turning around and leaving.

I nodded my head and entered the facility, and was immediately in awe of it. Unlike the rest of the facility this was a proper Greek styled colosseum with Marble pillars of all 12 Olympian gods and goddess surrounding the beautiful marble colosseum. Suddenly the center started to flood and from the water rose and AI.

"greeting warrior, I am Poseidon, the ruler of this facility, how may I be of service?" the Ai chuckled.

I grinned and said, "I wish to test my might and fight my way through hordes of enemies"

Poseidon laughed and said, "very well jump right in and we'll start the matches right away"

I took a deep breathe and pictured the air next to me turning into a great Warhammer. I kept picturing it till finally it showed up. A silver Warhammer with intricate markings and the depiction of Hercules fighting the Neiman lion and with a grin I leapt down into battle.

When I stood up I realized there weren't any opponents.

"Poseidon what the hell?" I said.

Poseidon put his hands on his mouth and said, "my apologies 9292, deploying 5 Mirmillo units and 12 Secutor units"

Suddenly the gates at the other end opened and out came robots designed to look like Mirmillo and Secutor gladiators each armed with swords and shields. This would be an easy fight I thought. The moment Poseidon shouted, "begin the fight!" the gladiators sped up to attack me not giving me any opportunity to parry. These guys were tough as nails. I noticed one of the Secutors was about to stab me so I leapt back and started to imagine a blade forming beneath its feet, but to no avail, they weren't giving me any time to think and they were moving to fast!

"concentrate Jango, picture their movements, figure out where they'll be next and picture the blade" I calmly said.

I grinned and watched as a dagger shot up out of the ground and stabbed a Secutor in the foot giving the opportunity to run up and turn him to a pile of metal with a single swing of my Warhammer.

This was the training I needed, and soon I was able to do it easily, summoning blades beneath my opponent, summoning them in the air and launching them like projectiles, hell I even managed to perfect a form of bladromancy that allowed me to summon them in mid air and use them like steps.

As soon as I felt I was ready I headed back up and thanked Doris for all the help.

"we've also managed to make that costume you requested its all here in this briefcase, oh and also we upgraded Athena, we gave her a body, as well as a way to communicate with you without the need of your prosthetics" Doris grinned.

So that's how Athena had been talking to me outside of Olympus, my phone and Dark Charon. Doris handed me a small earpiece that fitted nicely over my right ear, which suddenly turned into a small rather fashionable headset and inside the glass a young woman with black flowing hair, tan skin, and dressed in a gold and white tunic appeared, almost in front of me, like she was an actual person I could reach out and touch.

"woah Athena!" I said with a smile.

Athena chuckled and said, "I just love this upgrade, now I can better help you out, plus the entire piece is made of durable materials so no matter what villain tries to attack it nothing will damage me"

I grinned and said, "good, now let's go"

I took the silver briefcase from Doris and said, "I hope all goes well with becoming a hero agency"

Doris chuckled and said, "hope everything goes well with being a hero, 9292, just don't forget your roots, we're like a family to you after all"

I nodded my head and approached the bulkhead ready to exit but Doris said, "follow me there is an easier exit" and led to me to an escape pod system.

Doris chuckled and said, "this is how we get in and out of here…mainly our normal civilians use it in order to get fresh supplies that we cant get down here, like manga, junk food, and stuff like that"

I nodded my head and entered the rather lavishly furnished escape pod and Doris waved me off as the pod zoomed out of Atlantis and towards the surface, right where I had left the Blade mobile.

As soon as I surfaced I immediately felt blinded because of the bright light, I guess I was down there longer than anticipated. Once I got up to the docks I could see a couple of thugs try to break into the Blade mobile only to get mowed down by the hidden 50 cal.

Athena then walked up beside me and said, "these fools didn't know who they were messing with, shall I take you home 9292?"

I nodded my head and soon we were zooming off once again to Olympus.
