Timmy and Trixie have been dating for some time, but neither of their parents knew this, so they decided that on that night Timmy would introduce Trixie to his parents and the next day he would meet Trixie's father, but nothing was said about the girl's mother, they decided to tell her last, because they knew she would be the most difficult to accept this relationship, that day Timmy was telling his parents the news.

Timmy: Good morning mom, good morning dad.

Timmy's Mom and Dad: Good morning Timmy.

Timmy: I have a question, are you guys going to go some stupid place tonight?

Timmy's Dad: Well, we were thinking about that, but then we heard that Vicky couldn't babysit tonight for... something involving vicious dogs, so we had to cancel.

Timmy's Mom: Why are you asking son?

Timmy: Well, I wanted to introduce you to someone tonight.

Timmy's Mom and Dad: Who?

Timmy: It's... it's my girlfriend.

Timmy's Mom: Girlfriend? you never told us you had a girlfriend.

Timmy: We started dating, just a few weeks ago.

Timmy's Dad: That's my boy! tell your old man, who's the lucky girl?

Timmy: Believe me, if I told you you wouldn't believe it, but I'll give you a hint, it's someone you know.

Timmy's Mom: You'll have to be more specific.

Timmy: She studies in the same class as me.

Timmy's Dad: Hey, I think I already know, give me one more tip just so I'm sure.

Timmy: Okay, she has black hair.

Timmy's Dad: Just as I thought, it's Tootie.

Timmy: No, it's not her, it's... she's a much taller than me.

His parents are confused.

Timmy: I have to go now, I don't want to be late for school.

He leaves and leaves his parents confused trying to figure out who was the girl their son was talking about.

Timmy's Mom: Someone we know, who goes to the same class as Timmy, has black hair and is much taller than him... who do you think she is honey?

Timmy's Dad: I have no idea honey, the only girl I can remember with those traits is Trixie Tang, but this is (he tries to hold back his laughter)... just... (he starts to laugh) IMPOSSIBLE.

Timmy's Mom: True, for a girl like her to date him, only if it's in a dream.

Timmy's Dad: I bet he's bluffing, but if hypothetically he isn't I'm going to do this (he shrieks like a girl and faints) hypothetically of course.

He gets on the bus and sits next to Trixie.

Trixie: Good morning Timmy.

Timmy: Good morning Trixie, are you ready for tonight?

Trixie: Yeah I'm ready, I can't wait to meet your parents.

Timmy: Good, I told them I was going to introduce them to my girlfriend today, but they have no idea it's you, even though I made it obvious.

Cosmo (disguised as a notebook): By the way Wanda, who was that girl Timmy was talking about? someone his parents know, who goes to the same class as him, has black hair and is much taller than him, who is this girl? (he starts to think) BOY THAT'S ONE HARD QUESTION.

Wanda, who was also disguised as a notebook, just looked at him and slapped her forehead.

Timmy: One more thing Trixie, please don't be surprised if my dad faints and shrieks like a girl when he sees you, that's how he reacts when he sees something he doesn't believe.

Trixie: Alright Timmy, I wonder if your parents will like me.

Timmy: I'm sure they will, after all they've always wanted a girl, you'll be like the daughter they never had, they'll definitely be surprised when they find out it's you, but when they get to know you better, I bet they'll like you almost as much as I do.

Trixie: I hope so and remember, tomorrow is the day you'll meet my dad, don't worry I'm sure he'll like you.

Timmy: I hope so.

Trixie: Concentrate on befriending him so it will be easier when we tell my mom.

Timmy: I'll try to do that, but tomorrow, tonight it's your turn.

A few hours later Timmy was at home talking to the fairies.

Timmy: Guys, you can't imagine how nervous I am.

Wanda: Why are you nervous Sport? Trixie's dad looks pretty nice.

Timmy: That's not it, it's more about tonight, I mean you know how my parents are, I don't want them to do something weird and Trixie doesn't want to talk to me anymore.

Cosmo: Cheer up Timmy, what's the worst that could happen? I mean aside from your crazy parents who can scare your girlfriend away and make her never talk to you again.

Wanda: Timmy Trixie likes you for who you are and true love resists things like crazy parents, I know that very well.

Cosmo: What does that mean?

Timmy (looking trough the window): She's here!

He goes downstairs and opens the door for her.

Timmy: Welcome Trixie, come on in.

She enters the house and they start walking until they find Timmy's parents.

Timmy: Mom, Dad I'd like you guys to meet someone, that's my girlfriend Trixie Tang.

Trixie: Hi.

Timmy's parents look at her, still not believing she was who Timmy said she was, until Timmy's dad takes a closer look and sees that his son was telling the truth, he then shrieks like a girl and faints.

Trixie: When you said he would do this I didn't think it would be literally.

Timmy's Mom: Oh don't worry, he does that whenever he sees something he doesn't believe, just throw some water on him and he wakes up.

She gets a glass of water and throws it at Timmy's dad making him wake up.

Timmy's Dad: Wait a minute, are you really her?

Trixie: Yes, it's me.

Timmy's Dad: But why would the wealthiest, prettiest, most popular girl in the city be interested in a boy like our son?

Timmy: Gee! thanks dad.

Trixie: Please keep it a secret, but actually I'm not popular anymore.

Timmy: But she's still rich and pretty.

Trixie (blushing a little): Thanks Timmy, come here, me and Timmy will explain everything.

Some time later:

Timmy's Mom: So let me get this straight, Timmy pretended to be popular for you to like him, but then he realized he wasn't being himself, so he decided to tell the truth in front of the whole class and then you defended him because you were also tired of pretending to be someone you weren't, so you guys started dating, did I forget something?

Timmy: No, it was exactly that.

Timmy's Dad: But where did you get the popular clothes Timmy?

Timmy: Uh, internet.

Timmy's Mom and Dad: Works for us.

Timmy's Mom: Sit down, dinner is almost ready.

They sit down and Timmy looks at his parents with that 'don't do anything stupid' look, suddenly someone knocks on the door.

Timmy's Dad: Kids don't look now but our evil neighbor Dinkelberg is close by.

He goes out to see what Dinkelberg wants.

Trixie: Evil neighbor eh?

Timmy (in Trixie's ear): No, it's just that my dad hates this guy so much that he started to say he is evil.

Dinkelberg: Good evening Turner, I got a million dollars as a reward for saving a cat from a burning house, so I thought I'd give half the money to you

Timmy's Dad: You monster, you're the worst neighbor ever, keep your dirty money for yourself.

Dinkelberg: All right, so I'll put it in Timmy's college savings account.

He leaves.

Timmy's Mom (to Trixie): Sorry about that, my husband always does that, I don't know why.

Trixie: No problem.

Timmy's Mom: Dinner is ready, help yourself.

They start to eat but Timmy can barely eat it all since his mom's cooking was awful, he looks at Trixie but she looks fine.

Trixie: I loved meeting you guys, but I have to go home now.

Timmy: I'll take her home.

They leave and go to Trixie's house, but halfway there Timmy starts talking to her.

Timmy: I'm sorry Trixie.

Trixie: What are you talking about Timmy?

Timmy: About tonight, everything that could have gone wrong did, my dad did that crazy thing with Dinkelberg and my mom is a terrible cook and...

Trixie (interrupting Timmy): Stop it Timmy, alright your parents do some weird stuff but tell me which parents don't? and your mother won't get the title of best cook in the world, but her cooking is far from bad, tonight was definitely very... different, but if it's to be with you it's totally worth it.

Timmy: So you understand me?

Trixie: Of course I do, I love you no matter what, and nothing is going to change that.

Timmy: I love you too.

They kiss, but suddenly a short man with glasses and a blue suit appears.

?: Am I bothering you?

They look behind in surprise.

Trixie: Dad, I... I can explain.

Timmy: We were going to talk about it tomorrow, but since we're here what do we have to lose?

Trixie: Yeah let's do it dad this is my boyfriend Timmy Turner.

Her father is silent for a moment, but after they've told him the whole story he smiles.

Trixie's Dad: Thank you Timmy.

Timmy is confused.

Trixie's Dad: Let me explain, when Trixie was younger she couldn't care less about popularity, but when she got older her mom started filling her head with this nonsenses and made her forget about what really matters, but thanks to you she has returned to being my little girl and now I see she is much happier.

Timmy: I'm really happy about it, but what your daughter did she did on her own, I had nothing to do with it.

Trixie: Of course you had, I would never have done it without you and you're right dad that was the best thing I've ever done.

Trixie's Dad: Yeah unfortunately it will be harder to convince my wife, she's coming home next week so we can talk to her but you're welcome here anytime Timmy.

They talk for a while and the next day Timmy was at Trixie's house again, they were talking to her father when all of a sudden they saw a woman who looked like Trixie only taller and older.

?: WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? WHO IS THIS BOY?

Trixie: Mom! I didn't know you were coming today.

Trixie's Dad: Honey, don't worry, we'll explain, this is...

Trixie: No Dad, I think I have to say this, Mom this is my boyfriend Timmy Turner.

Trixie's Mom: Sorry dear, I don't think I heard you right, looks like you said boyfriend.

Trixie: That's exactly what I said.

Trixie's Dad: Please honey, give him a chance, he's a great kid.

Hearing this, Trixie's mother faints, she wakes up a few minutes later.

Trixie's Mom: I had a horrible nightmare, I dreamed my daughter had given up being the popularity queen to date a pink hatted bucktooth weirdo and my husband was fine with it.

Trixie: It wasn't a dream mom, it actually happened, but please let me explain...

Trixie's Mom: Explain? there's no explanation for it, after all I've done for you, you wanna put it all aside for... HIM?

Trixie: Yes, you always wanted me to be popular, but you never asked for my opinion, I want to understand mom, why do you make such a big deal about my popularity?

Trixie's Mom: Honey, you may not understand it right now, but I guarantee you, when you get older you'll thank me for this.

Trixie: No I won't because I'm not going to do that kind of thing anymore, I'm going to be myself from now on and I'll keep dating Timmy.

Trixie's Mom: No way, I forbid it.

Trixie: I'm not asking for your permission, this decision is Timmy's and mine and ours alone and we want to be together.

Trixie's Mom: We'll just see, SECURITY! (the bouncer appears) I want this pink hatted boy out of my house.

The bouncer was about to catch Timmy when Trixie's father stopped him.

Trixie's Dad: STOP IT! this is my house too and i say he stays, Trixie mind if i spoke privately with Timmy for a while?

Trixie: No problem Dad, meanwhile I'm here talking to Mom.

They leave and go to another room.

Trixie's Dad: Timmy my boy, you must be wondering why I like you so much when my wife hates you so much, am I right?

Timmy: Yeah I was wondering that.

Trixie's Dad: It's because you remind me of a boy I knew when I was your age, that boy had a crush on the most popular girl in school, who you now know as Trixie's mom, but unfortunately she always despised him, since he was one of the least popular kids, it was only after many years of work and after doing things I'd rather not even mention. that he managed to be with the person he loved the most.

Timmy: Now I get it.

Trixie's Dad: I don't want you to suffer as much as I did and I also see that you are a good boy, I see that Trixie is much happier now and if she is happy so am I.

Timmy: Thanks Mr. Tang, but there's one thing I still don't understand, if Trixie's mom treated you so badly when you were kids why did you still like her?

Trixie's Dad: For the same reason you like Trixie, you've always known there's something good about this person, something you've seen and no one else did and that's why I haven't given up on her, I'm not sure but I think that she only acted that way through her parents' influence, but the only way to find out would be if we could go back in time.

Timmy (in his head): Going back in time eh?

Meanwhile with Trixie and her mother.

Trixie's Mom: Of all the boys why HIM? I mean, look at the size of those teeth.

Trixie: His teeth may be big, but his heart is even bigger and that's why I'm with him now.

Trixie's Mom: All right, have it your way, I have nothing more to say to you.

Trixie: But mom I... oh forget it.

She leaves the room and goes to talk to Timmy.

Trixie: My mom was completely irresolvable, how were you with my dad?

Timmy: It was great, he told me that your mom wasn't always like that, so I thought, if we go back in time and change what made your mom act like that, maybe she'll get better.

Trixie: I would normally say that time travel is dangerous, but I'm so excited I didn't even think about it.

Timmy: Cosmo, Wanda you know what to do.

The fairies raise their wands and poof Timmy's time scooter, they then use it to go back to 30 years in the past.

Timmy: Here we are, in the 70s.

Trixie: What a weird feeling, it feels like we're being watched.

The fairies then transform into cats and suddenly they see a girl similar to Trixie wearing spy gear.

Timmy and Trixie: It must be her.

They go to the girl and start talking to her.

Timmy: Hey you, wait a minute.

Trixie's Mom: No, please don't tell anyone, if anyone knows I like spies, everyone will think I'm weird, please don't tell anyone.

Trixie: Don't worry, we won't tell anyone, actually I also like spies and other stuff that most of the girls don't.

Trixie's Mom: Would you play with me?

Timmy: Sure, why not?

They play together for a while until they hear a woman's voice.

?: Stay away from them.

Trixie's Mom: Mom!

Timmy and Trixie hide behind the bushes and hear the conversation.

Trixie's Grandma: Didn't I told you to put this ridiculous thing aside? you're a girl, spies are for boys.

Trixie's Mom: But Mom, that other girl likes spies too.

Trixie's Grandma: I have nothing to do with that other girl, how do you intend to marry the Buxaplenty's son if you keep acting like this?

Timmy: Buxaplenty?

Trixie's Mom: But I don't want to marry him, I like that other boy from my school, Tang I think.

Trixie's Grandma: You're not marrying him, he's not rich or popular enough for you, trust me sweetie, one day you'll thank me for this.

She pulls her daughter in and Timmy and Trixie see the whole scene.

Trixie: Now it all makes sense, she was just like me, Timmy we have to go back, I'll talk to her.

They go back to the present.

Timmy: What are you going to do Trixie?

Trixie: I'm going to talk to her, now that I know the truth I think I can do something.

She goes in and goes to talk to her mother, but returns a few seconds later.

Trixie: It was worse than I thought, she doesn't get that nonsense out of her head for nothing.

Wanda: You know kids, sometimes you just have to be patient and things will work out.

Timmy: Hey, you're right Wanda, let's wait for a while, maybe she'll take it better.

Trixie: I hope so, because I don't want to be mad at my mom forever, but I also don't want to break up with you Timmy.

They kiss again.

Timmy: That's it guys, another chapter is done.

Trixie: Will my mom realize how wrong she was and apologize to me and Timmy?

Writer: Maybe, but it won't be anytime soon.

Timmy: You again, what are you planning for the next few chapters?

Writer: Well, I'm planning on rewriting some episodes of the original show, but with you two dating.

Trixie: What episodes?

Writer: Good question, I won't reveal that, what do you think will happen?

Wanda: Read and find out.

Cosmo: CONTINUES IN THE NEXT CHAPTER.
