The day following the quirk apprehension test was here and Leizcio got himself ready for the day. Following the same morning routine, he finds his way over to the train and waits for the train alongside Uraraka. Another day at the prestigious UA waited for them at the gates.

The beginning of the day was underwhelming, to say the least. It was just regular courses like English and such. Later in the day, lunch would be at the main cafeteria where food could be bought at fair prices. Leizcio was allowed to take a bit more than usual though due to his quirk affecting his metabolism.

Once the afternoon arrived, the class everyone had been waiting for was finally here. Hero Basic Training.

"I am..."

"Coming through the door like a normal person!"

Proclaimed All Might, coming through the door very unlike a normal person. The class was chattering, seeing the number 1 hero of Japan in front of their own eyes as their teacher. Leizcio wasn't a huge fanboy, but he admired All Might. I mean, he was the number one hero after all.

"I teach Hero Basic Training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero."

"Let's get right into it! This is what we'll do today-

All Might pulls out a card that simply read, Battle.

Combat training!"

"And to go with that are these!"

Coming from the wall, multiple shelves come out holding suitcases with different numbers on them. As All Might explained to them, he told the class to meet him in Ground Beta once they have changed into their costumes.

Remembering about a month before entering UA, Leizcio remembers a conversation he had with Lavania regarding the topic.

"I have to officially register my quirk at city hall now huh?" Leizcio asked Lavania as they looked over the sheets for the clothing allowance. There was a bit of silence between them, but you could feel the worry in the room weighing them both down. Registering his quirk legally would mean that Mashito will most likely learn about Leizcio and his quirk soon. Lord knows what that man would do just to force his kid to become a hero so he can continue to feed his ego. But Lavania remembers the promise she made to herself, to ensure that Leizcio follows his aspirations no matter what. She gives Leizcio a firm but reassuring grip on his shoulder.

"Don't worry about him, you're going to be okay. And if he tries to do something, I have a metal bat behind the counter that says otherwise." Lavania told him, trying to make him feel better.

"Heh, yeah you're right. So, how do we feel about this for the costume?" Leizcio asked her, showing her a sketch of a costume.

"It looks good, and I think you chose a good color scheme for it."

"Ah damn! Why is this so tight!" Leizcio complained as finished putting on his costume. A tight black, Nextel, and kevlar alloy undersuit, offering a bit of protection from the heat he generates. A torso piece that doubled as a battery. A belt attached to the suit that carries nausea medicine for those that he'd carry to safety. Boots with special treads that'd allow him to run comfortably in almost any environment. And of course, a visor that worked as a speedometer as well as his metabolic levels. His armor was colored with a lavender coating, and four stripes connecting to his chest that work as LEDs. (That's what he thought would be a cool addition.) Finishing gearing up, he realized that the only person with him was Midoriya who had just finished gearing up as well. Giving him a light fist bump on the shoulder, they both began to run to Ground Beta.

"C'mon Midoriya, we're already the last ones there!"

"R-right!"

As they both finally caught up to their classmates, they saw the hero costumes that they have donned. Taking a quick look at Midoriya, Leizcio likes the costume a bit, but he has to admit, it makes Midoriya look like a bunny with those big ear things.

"Villa! Deku! Both your costumes look nice and practical!" Uraraka had said walking up to them.

Uraraka's costume caught Midoriya off guard a bit, but Leizcio noticed that they both share the same 2 dots on their costumes. Most likely because they were made from the same support company.

"Now, It's time for combat training!"

"Sir! This is a battle center from the entrance exam, so will we be conducting urban battles again?" Iida spoke up. Taking a quick gander at Iida's costume, he had to admit that he was a bit jealous of how cool it looked. But Leizcio was contempt with what he had. Less is more. He thinks at least.

All Might went on to explain the type of training that the students would be doing indoor battles in a 2v2 with the class being split into hero and villain teams. The villains would have to protect a nuclear weapon within the hideout whilst the heroes will try to dispose of it. Villains must either protect the weapon until time runs out or capture the heroes. The heroes must either secure the weapon or capture the villains. He proceeds to pull out a box, announcing that the teams will be determined by drawing lots.

Grabbing his lot, it read out C. Wondering who his partner would be, he saw that he was paired up with Momo Yaoyorozu, the student who placed first in the quirk apprehension test. He was unsure of what her quirk was, considering that she was able to place first amongst a class that had multiple high feats. Leizcio considered himself lucky to be paired up with the best of the class. They would both be going against Team G, who had included Kaminari and Kyoka Jirou. Leizcio felt a bit reluctant about going against Kaminari, but he remembers that it's a class so he'll be fine.

The first match in this battle trial would be team A and team D. Midoriya and Uraraka against Iida and Bakugo. As the two teams were sent off to prepare themselves, All Might instructed the rest of the class to go to the monitor room from where they could view the match that would happen. Walking over there, Leizcio was a bit worried for his friends, especially Midoriya. Who knows what the hell happened between those two but it's made Bakugo seeth with rage.

And good lord was he right to be worried. Leizcio had a lot of concern in his mind. Thinking of, 'What is wrong with that kid?' 'Who thought that support item would be a good idea to give a teenager?' and many more questions. Midoriya had to be taken out on a stretcher by some small bots and Uraraka turned out to be okay if anything nauseous. However, Bakugo looked like he saw a ghost. All Might soon announced that the MVP of the match was Iida. To Leizcio it seemed like common sense, mostly because he was the one that did act with common sense. However, Yaoyorozu went on a thorough explanation, with how Bakugo was acting on a grudge, Uraraka lost focus mid-way, and Midoriya's plan was reckless.

'As expected of a recommended student I guess.' Leizcio had thought to himself. Right after, the second match had begun. And it was quickly over. Todoroki simply ended the match within a few seconds. Leizcio was shaken by the sheer power of him, the kid of Endeavor. It made Leizcio wonder for a second how he'd end up similar to Todoroki had he been taken in by Mashito. He'd turn out to be cold just like him.

Leizcio took a minute to get over the fact that he made a horrible pun. The other matches would later ensue, giving Leizcio an insight into his classmate's quirks and strategies. Everyone was talented and had unique quirks, to say the least.

"Team G are heroes and Team C are villains! Head to your places teams!"

As Leizcio was walking to where the weapon was stationed with Yaoyorozu, he began to think if this is fair. Unbeknownst to the class other than Uraraka, he was a vigilante and has done fights like these. (Without the possibility of a nuclear weapon of course.) Well, All Might did say not to hold back, and of course, don't go overkill. Emphasis on the kill part.

"What is your quirk?" Yaoyorozu had asked Leizcio, devising a plan to defend the weapon.

"Um, basically I can run fast and emit electrical energy to certain areas like my fist. And an approximate measurement of my current speed is around Mach 1.2. What is your quirk?"

"I'm able to create an object from my body as long as I understand its structure. However, I do have a limit to the number of things I can materialize as it takes fat lipids from my body to create them."

"Hey, we have similar drawbacks! I have to eat quite a bit as well since my body has an insane metabolism. Anyways, do you have a plan in mind?"

"Yes, I was thinking we could secure all possible entries and only leave one. That way we can catch them easily. Help me bar the entries meanwhile."

As Leizcio continued to help, he remembered that he already knows a bit about Kaminari so he can use it to his advantage.

"I think I can deal with Kaminari if they separate. His quirk allows him to expel electricity. I have a battery located in my chest so I can probably engage in a fight with him solo. However, I'm unsure of Jirou's quirk."

"Since your quirk allows you to do a similar thing, then you should be able to absorb some of it then. So our best bet is to have you capture Kaminari first then."

"Sounds good to me, and then we have Jirou walk into her and capture her as well?"

"Exactly, here, I replicated more of the capture tapes. Make sure once you capture Kaminari you return here. Don't engage Jirou on your own. That way we can secure a solid victory."

"Of course, I'll see you here again once I've captured him."

The match had begun and all the entries were blocked off. Giving a nod of assurance to Yaoyorzu, he bolts off into the building to try and find Kaminari. After a minute, he decides to walk. Yaoyorozu said she'll talk into the earpiece if something unexpected happens. As he continues walking, he's surprised by Kaminari's sudden lunge at him.

"Sorry Villa! No hard feelings bro! 1.3 Million volts!"

"Wait what?" Leizcio said worried at the amount of electricity Kaminari was about to unleash on him.

A bright flash fills the room, as both of them are laying on the floor. However, Leizcio wasn't pinned down anymore. His hair was standing up on end but he was fine, to say the least. Remembering that he has to capture Kaminari still, he rushes over to him. But he's... dumb now?

"Weee!" Kaminari said randomly with both his hands giving thumbs up.

"Oh my god" Leizcio mumbled trying to hold in his laughter. That's one helluva funny drawback. Either way, Leizcio went to grab his capture tapes but they got burnt up in the process. Since this 'dumb' Kaminari didn't seem like an act, he dragged him back to where Yaoyorozu.

"Why'd you bring him here?" Yaoyorozu asked a bit worried and on guard.

Leizcio simply let go of Kaminari and he just stood there still giving thumbs up.

"He used his quirk on me and it probably short-circuited his brain, making him act this way. The capture tapes were also burnt up so I had to come back here."

"That makes sense then, tie him up and leave him by the pillars so that we can watch him." Yaoyorozu told Leizcio handing him some capture tape. She left some nearby as well just in case.

As Leizcio begins to tie up Kaminari, he's trying to figure out what Jirou's quirk is. That's when it hit him. She has earphone jacks coming from her earlobes! That's probably how they got the drop on Leizcio! Those jacks probably allow her to hear things well.

"Yaoyorozu, I believe that Jirou's quirk allows her to hear with her earlobe jacks! Kaminari was able to get the drop on me at the beginning and that was probably how! She could hear my footsteps!"

"Then she most likely knows that we're in this room with Kaminari as a hostage as well. So no doubt she'll be coming up here."

The door started rumbling and began to crack. It quickly broke down and Jirou was there with her jacks extended out.

Without wasting a second Leizcio goes to capture her but he feels something stab him midway. It was her jacks! He starts to feel his body vibrate from that point and he winces in pain. However, Yaoyorozu was able to use this opportunity to trap Jirou with a net trap. This cause Jirou to take out the jacks from Leizcio and hit Yaoyorozu. However, Leizcio grabs the extra capture tapes from where Yaoyorozu had made them. The opponent won't be considered captured unless they have the tape tying them. However, he had to grab Yaoyorozu and move her out of the way. He wouldn't be fast enough to tie Jirou before Yaoyorozu got hit. Successfully moving her out of the way, Leizcio darts towards Jirou before she can make a move and wraps the capture tape around her.

They did it, the heroes had been captured. He and Yaoyorozu had won their battle trial!

"Villain Team wins!"

Once Leizcio and Yaoyorozu had untied Kaminari and Jirou, they headed back into the monitor room.

"We both did well out there! Your plan worked almost flawlessly!"

"You think so? I felt that it could've gone better."

"Course! You thought of the idea to seal off the entries, capturing Kaminari first, and even made those extra capture tapes! You also didn't go ahead and try to capture Jirou yourself! You distracted her and allowed me to escape from it! Trust me, that plan while might've not been completely followed, you were still able to ensure us that win!"

"Fair point and thank you. Either way, we both did well and did our parts."

As they entered the monitor room, All Might declared Yaoyorozu the MVP of the match and gave Leizcio a bit of credit. While Leizcio was able to do a lot of the handiwork, Yaoyorozu was able to devise a plan that allowed their quirks to be used to the best of their ability. The rest of the matches would continue.

Once all the matches were over, the students would walk out of the monitor room and All Might congratulated all of them on a job well done. He told them to change and head back to their classroom before rushing off to see Midoriya's condition.

Classes were pretty normal the rest of the day, quite uneventful. But to be fair, what could top battling your classmates? Not much, especially regular classwork. As the last class was over, the majority of the class had stayed, however, Bakugo left for some strange reason. Well, Leizcio wasn't sure why, but he's not about to talk to that hothead.

While the class was waiting around, Leizcio went up to talk with Sato. He was intrigued by his quirk since it seemed that he used sugar to fuel it.

"Hey, you're Sato right?"

"Yeah! And you're Villa, right? You did great out there!"

"Thanks! You did as well! Just had a question, but your quirk depends on sugar right?"

"It does! If I consume a certain amount of sugar, I can increase my strength!"

"You wouldn't happen to bake do you?"

"Heh, I actually do! It's a pretty nice hobby and helps out my quirk!"

"That's cool! You know, I work at a cafe my sister owns and I bake there as well! You should pass by one of these days!"

"Yeah, it sounds great!"

As Sato and Leizcio were finishing up their conversation, Midoriya walked into the classroom and the boy got immediately bombarded. Leizcio knew Midoriya was already too nervous as it is. He already wanted to go home after chatting up with Sato so he grabbed his stuff and went on back home.

When he got back home, he greeted Lavania and pech. Helping to close up the cafe, Leizcio looked back at how the battle went. Could he have done something differently? But he decided what he did was okay, they did manage to win in the end without anything big happening. Nice and controlled.

Once Lavania and Leizcio were finished, they both headed upstairs and heated up some leftovers that they had from yesterday. Leizcio told her about how the day went and everything. The day for him had ended on a calm note, and he'd proceed to do his other chores and such before heading to sleep. While he is sleeping, however, something dark is brewing.
