I was beyond on edge about these final battles, because I could end up fighting Todoroki in the final battle, if he freezes the air I wont be able to materialize weapons using much of the air around him which will fuck me over hard. Then again I could end up with an easy opponent like Iida, I have had training against speedy opponents I know their weaknesses hell I had a contingency plan set in motion in case Iida did turn evil. However there was a possibility I could end up facing Tokoyami, His Dark Shadow is formidable but…it seems like the more light there is the less strength it has.

I then felt a tap on my shoulder and when I looked up it was Midoriya.

"ahh I see your surgery went well?" I chuckled.

Midoriya nodded and said, "how the do you deal with pain in your arms?"

I laughed and removed my right arm and said, "I just take it off and let it rest before putting it back on"

Midoriya laughed and said, "sorry I wasn't here to see your fight with Pony, I heard it went well"

I nodded my head and said, "I'll be going up against Gabby next I hope you'll be in my corner cheering me on"

Gabby joined in laughing while saying, "yeah, no he'll be in my corner!".

Midoriya stuttered and said, "hehe w-well I'll be rooting for both of you!"

Gabby and I stared at him and I said, "that's bullshit".

Mic then shouted, "The first match of the semifinals! Both come from hero families, making this a battle of elites! From the hero course Tenya Iida! Versus his classmate, Shoto Todoroki, Start!"

Todoroki started the attack by sending a huge wall of ice directly at Iida. Iida countered this by running around to try and flank Todoroki but Todoroki sent another wall of ice at Iida. That idiot doesn't Iida realized he just cornered himself!

Mic then shouted, "Iida's been surrounded!"

Todoroki then sent a final wall of ice directly at Iida while Mic shouted, "Todoroki's going in for the win already!"

Iida surprised us all by doing a standing long jump right at Todoroki.

Iida then shouted, "Recipro…burst!" and went to try and kick Todoroki.

Iida then landed and went in for another Kick which landed perfectly on Todoroki sending Todoroki straight into the ground.

Mic then shouted, "Look at that speed!"

Iida then grabbed Todoroki and was about to drag him out of bounds when Todoroki suddenly froze him in place.

Midnight then shouted, "Iida has been immobilized Todoroki advances!".

I stretched and went off to train at the gym. Gabby was bound to be a tough opponent so I needed to be ready for her. While I was training Bakugou went up against Tokoyami and won. This was it the last battle before I go up against Bakugou, I didn't want to mess this up. I knew Gabby's quirk, and quite frankly this will be a tough battle. I had to somehow break her mental focus and hit her in the head, that's the only way to disable her Quirk if I did that it will be a fair match up. I guess I'll have to rely on manifesting air into weapons and show them all what I am truly capable of.

I was in the small gym the arena had doing some quick boxing Maneuvers on Mineta who I strung up and used as a punching bag when all of a sudden Gravmind walked up to me.

"so…the assassin is going up against my baby girl" the number 12 best American hero snickered.

Still focused on Mineta I said, "if you're here to force me to lose the fight it's a lost cause I promised Gabby I wouldn't hold any punches"

Gravmind walked up and chuckled saying, "no…I wouldn't do that I saw how serious my baby girl was about winning, and I know if she found out I threatened you to lose she would never forgive me, so instead I've decided to give her a little extra challenge by telling you about her training"

This peeked my interest and I said, "what is she capable of…she's strong I'll give her that, and that mind shield was durable as hell so what exactly am I going up against?"

Gravmind chuckled and said, "she's able to control the air around her, freezing it in place, and anything she sees she can freeze so if you want to stand a chance at beating her you have to be able to launch something at her from a blindspot, and have something ready to follow up the attack, Gabby may be strong but if you make her use to much of her mental power she will start to get a nosebleed, so please don't hurt her to much, I still want my baby girl to become a hero, just like Dageshi and Hitomi wanted you to become one"

I looked at him a bit shocked and said, "how did you-"

Shroud then walked in and said, "it's your eyes, they remind me of Hitomi's and the way you present yourself and fight, it reminds us both of Dageshi when he first broke out on to the hero scene in Greece, so we both realized you're their son…who must have been kidnapped by that organization".

I chuckled and said, "so that's why you two didn't turn me in back when we fought in Oak glen"

Gravmind chuckled and said, "yes, Dageshi was a good friend of mine when he came to the states, asking all kinds of questions and working under me as a side kick, even though at the time he was 10th best Greek hero and I was still a 14th best hero, your father was by far the most interesting man I have ever worked with and It would have been a shame back then to tarnish his name, now you go out there and give my daughter a fight she has never had, and make it worth her while!"

I grinned and said, "I will show her just how strong we Greeks truly are!" before slamming Mineta through the roof and then rushing out to the field ready to fight.

As I entered the arena Mic shouted, "well folks this is the last fight of the semifinals, the brains versus the brawns, close quarters vs long range, the mentalist versus the pugilist, I give you Jango Arkino, the Spartan, versus the lady of the mind, the daughter of America's number 12 and 14 best hero, Gabby Olson!"

The crowd went wild and I could hear Gabby's parents shout, "kick his ass back to Sparta baby!", and "show this ancient Motherfucker how we do it in the states!".

Gabby started to cringe and said, "Jango…for the love of god if you manage to grapple me, please cause a lot of blunt force trauma I don't think I can stand much more of my parents cheering me on its starting to get embarrassing"

Gabby's dad then pulled out Two air horns and started to honk them to theme of seven nation army.

With a chuckle I said, "I'm jealous of you Gabby…I wish my parents were around to embarrass me like that, but for now I know they are watching me from the Elysium so I must not lose".

With a grin I materialized a spear using my Tungsten rod and took up a Phalanx like stance resting my spear on my left arm with the blade pointed at Gabby.

Midnight then raised her whip and said, "begin!"

In the background I could hear a song I was all too familiar with. Rules of nature. With a howl I tried to charge at Gabby but to no avail I was stuck.

Mic then shouted, "Whats this! It looks like Jango's been frozen in place!"

Gabby laughed and said, "did you really think I'd give you an opportunity to get close to me?"

I growled and shouted, "lets see how you like this!"

This was my chance, I tried to conjure up a Warhammer but to no avail she had frozen the air around her.

Gabby laughed again and said, "you fool, I froze the air around me just so you couldn't get a silly Warhammer close to me!"

I took a deep breath in and focused and created a Poleaxe right in Gabby's blind spot that shot right at her and hit her in the head breaking her focus and allowing me to move.

Mic screamed, "here we go folks the battle has really begun!"

"eat shit!" I shouted picking up the Poleaxe and using the hammer head to disorient her.

Gabby coughed a little and swung at me, still dazed. I had a little bit of time before she regained full consciousness so I had to make it count. Stabbing the Poleaxe through her foot, I cracked my knuckles and started to box her making sure to keep her as disoriented as possibly, that would be my only way to win. Gabby then parried my attack by pulling the poleaxe out of her foot and swinging it at me to try and get me away from her. As I slid back I slammed the floor breaking it up and sending the debris both into the air and at Gabby to try and disorient her.

"you're a good fighter Jango, but my mental powers are more than you can handle!" Gabby grinned while using her power to lift me up in the air.

She didn't mean to toy with me like she did with Shoda, she was actively trying to push me out of the arena. With some quick thinking I materialized Two Warhammer heads to stand on and keep my balance.

Mic then shouted, "Unbelievable folks Jango has made the air into a weapon and is openly resisting Gabby's attempts to push him out of the ring!"

If Gabby overexerted herself now she'll lose focus and give me enough time to grab as much raw material as I needed for this next attack. I calculated it perfectly as Gabby soon weakened and I used this to shoot myself to the floor, unsheathing my wrist blades and carving up the floor to release as much concrete as possible. Calmly I launched it into the air and grabbed the tungsten rod from Gabby turning it into an Ace weapon. A Jat Kittag.

Gabby smirked and said, "nice hammer but it won't do much!"

I grinned and said, "that's what this is for!" I then pointed up as the hundreds of rocks and debris turned into daggers, swords, axes, and polearms of different styles.

Mic then shouted, "so that's why he was smashing the ring any opportunity he got! Jango Arkino is taking a page out of the book of Ochako Uraraka and is using the floating debris to try and destroy his opponent!"

"Witness my hail Mary attack, ISHKUR HEAVY RAIN!" I shouted before pointing at Gabby.

The amount of weapons blackened the sky as it rained on Gabby. As it did the song shouted, "Rules of Nature!" timing the attack perfectly to sync up with the song. I may not understand how the blood-soaked hell I was able to hear the music but I did and it made this entire fight all the more epic.

"MIND SHIELD!" Gabby yelled making her protective bubble.

The blades never stopped as I used my Jat Kittag to make more concrete debris and turn it into more blades to send her way.

Gabby then shouted, "taste your own medicine!" before launching all of my own blades at me.

Gabby's sister clapped and whistled and shouted, "good strategy sis you got this in the bag!"

"Shield of Helios!" I shouted summoning my huge protective shield.

Gabby laughed and as I looked around I noticed my entire dome was slowly starting to crush as if gravity was closing in on it. This wouldn't stay for long but I just had to wade it out for a bit, make her think she has this in the bag. I calmed myself and used the air around her to feel how close she was getting till finally I felt a knock on the shield. This was my chance. I clicked a button on my Jat Kittag activating the hidden rocket engine and opened the shield up surprising her and started to leap around her using my rocket boots to help me leap around always attacking her in the process.

"hahaha you like this Gabby this is my new form, I call it Hermes driven Grand barrage!" I grinned as I landed on another floating Warhammer before slamming into her again. This time though Gabby predicted it and stopped me in midair.

"you have got to be the most stubborn person I have fought against!" Gabby growled as sweat rolled down her face.

Gabby's Father then shouted, "Kick his ugly Greek Ass sugar bear!".

I grinned and said, "don't you remember? I'm Spartan we're all stubborn" before materializing a Warhammer behind her to bop her in the back of the head followed by using the Jat kittag to swing her out of bounds.

Midnight then shouted, "Gabby is out of bounds which means Jango is the winner and will be going up against Katsuki Bakugou in the semifinals!"

Mic then shouted, "this was a match for the history books folks and now the final match to decide who Shoto Todoroki will go up against will be Katsuki Bakugou versus Jango Arkino!"

I looked down at Gabby and said, "you done did good kiddo" while picking her up.

Gabby chuckled and said, "I nearly had you, if you weren't so good at that damn weapon Materialization I would have won for sure in the beginning"

I laughed and said, "all I had to do was pull out the flame thrower and you would be fried"
