Chapter 21 season 2 Hassan I sabbah

The Meer presence of this…man sent shivers up my spine, like had seen death itself and was about to die. My body wanted me to run, but my mind and heart told me to stay.

From out of Nowhere Mic said, "Hassan of the Cursed Arm, his quirk Zabaniya, but more specifically Delusional Heart beat, there isn't much known about his Quirk just that it made him an outcast within shiketsu high which is where he was recruited by the Assassins!"

"So Hassan of the Cursed Arm, is it true, was young Jango truly scouted to become the next Hassan!" All Might growled.

A rather calm, childish voice then chuckled and said, "I was the one who recommended him, after hearing from Abdul just how strong and how much potential he had, we all decided he would be perfect"

I looked around before seeing a young child appear from behind a pillar, her skin the same black color that the hassan of the cursed arm had, however her attire was different, her skull mask wasn't as intimidating as Cursed Arms, a bit more…calm. She Had Indigo colored short hair, and was wearing wrappings that formed and X on her chest.

I unsheathed Miyabi and said, "who are you!"

The child giggled and said, "I am the Hassan of Serenity, the same Hassan who made that fancy form of fighting you use, and may I just say, the way you use it is quite impressive!"

Mic then shouted, "Hassan of Serenity, Quirk Zabaniya, specific quirk Poison body, every inch of this woman's body is coated in an unknown poison capable of killing a hundred men, she is so poisonous that her very body fluids and even her breathe carries her poison!"

I kept my guard up as another figure, this one rather muscular, with long indigo hair appeared behind us and said, "we are here to test you young Jango, to see if you are worthy to be the next Hassan"

I growled and said, "if you wanted me, why bring All Might into this?!"

An older cloaked Gentleman with a blackened broadsword then came out of the shadows below Cursed arm and said, "the reason i hast brought him hither is to discuss the future of heroes and assassins alike"

All of the Hassans bowed to this man and I realized, this man was the King, the Old man of the Mountain, the first Hassan I Sabbah.

All Might chuckled and said, "well then Old Man, lets chat, Jango go with your new instructors, and word of advice, be quick on your feet, they will kill you if they detect any sign of being unworthy"

I shuttered and looked behind me again to notice the woman was gone and in her place was a buff man wearing a cloak.

Mic then shouted, "Hassan of a hundred faces their quirk, Zabaniya specific quirk, Delusional Illusion, using their multiple personality disorder they are able to split themself into 100 other personalities each one acting like an extention of the original"

In a hoarse voice Hundred Faces said, "hehe well young man time to go, you will be training under the three of us in the true arts of an Assassin, and don't worry, you will be back at Olympus before Gabby or Mina realize you are gone".

He…she, they, screw it I'm calling Hundred faces they. They then pushed me along while Cursed arm and Serenity followed behind us and as I looked up, I noticed the moon has not moved at all, in fact as soon as I looked at my phone I noticed time had just stopped, the seconds weren't changing, the minutes weren't going time had simply just stopped.

The three of them led me into a building that reminded me of the one that held the Grendel sight that Abdul had me us, however in the center instead of a lamp was a chalice made of daggers with a violet liquor in it.

Serenity then picked up the chalice and said, "this is the blood of the First Hassan, the only way for our Quirk, the Zabaniya to be passed down, if the chalice finds you worthy, you will receive the power, if you are deemed unworthy you will be forced to live your worse nightmare and die in gruesome ways for eternity"

I shuttered and held the chalice, and hesitantly took a drink of it and immediately a sharp pain shot through my body. I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe, my body was simultaneously burning up and freezing. I wanted to scream but no sound came out, finally the worse part of it, I could feel my bones start to crack and distort in abnormal ways, hell even my prosthetics were bending! Finally I blacked out and when I woke up I was in arabia more specifically, the Alamut castle, the birthplace of the hashashin, the assassins. I walked around the decorated and gilded walls till I finally came to a chamber with 12 men, each brandishing a different style of weapon, ranging from grenades, to a huge battle axe, to a serpent, however these men all were kneeling front of the man from the festival, the one who sent fear throughout the other heroes.

The old man said, "i, the true leader of the assassins, wilt name only one person to art mine successor, and wilt start a new decree, where only one shall succeed the predecessor, one assassin to rule the others, one to inherit the power of the Zabaniya"

The old man then pointed to me and said, " Thou, child of greece, wilt art mine next successor, i deem thou worthy of mine great power, may thou use it to better the world and punish those who strive to destroy it"

I kneeled and said, "I am humbled oh mighty leader" before feeling the pain return and as I woke up I noticed I had a wet towel on my head, and my school uniform was replaced with strange clothing, black cloth pants that looked rather ancient yet were tight around my body, a belt with 5 daggers on either side. A rather plain black tunic adorned my chest and Miyabi was fastened tightly to my back. My prosthetics had the fake skin on them removed and the metal was painted pure black. I noticed in front of me lied a skull mask of my own similar to the skull mask on Tartarus… but with a silver streak on the side. Putting the mask on I felt somehow at peace, and could see a smoke start to fill the mask.

I started to panic thinking I was going to suffocate but Serenity leapt out of nowhere and pushed down my hands and said, "this is but the Grendel's sight filling your mask, giving you the power of clairvoyance and the true sight, allowing you to predict your enemies movements and hunt them down"

Serenity took off her mask and I immediately started to blush, she was beautiful, that mask hid a soft face with gentle silver eyes.

Serenity giggled and said, "you know, you look really cute without that dreadful mask on, how about you take it off and I will show you the world, a world that is X rated and adults do" before putting her hands on my waist to try and kiss me.

I was about to kiss her when I moved back and pushed her away from me. what was I thinking, she was the Hassan of Serenity with the poison skin, if I fell for her I would be putting my own life at risk.

Serenity giggled and said, "good job, you passed the first test"

"what happens now?" I asked curiously

Serenity pointed to the door and said, "you must exit this room without touching me, shadow step is the first quirk, the first part of the Zabaniya, and the most basic, if you do not exit the room without touching me, I will kill you".

I took a deep breath in and started to materialize into Shadow, listening to all the voices within me telling me how to truly break myself apart into shadows. With one movement I turned into shadows and avoided Serenity before finally turning back into a normal man.

Serenity clapped her arms and said, "very good, now follow Hundred Faces"

I then looked behind me to see Hundred faces was standing directly behind me.

Hundred faces cackled and said, "I will be your next mentor, teaching you the art of blending in with your foes, and gaining their trust easily"

Hundred faces then grabbed me and we rushed through the island till we came across an abandoned school.

"this place was once filled with life, and yet now…the voices of those who died haunt the halls, filling it with death, a perfect place to teach you" Hundred face mourned turning into a small girl with the same long indigo hair and the same skull mask.

She then walked inside and said, "your mission is simple, I will activate the true power of my Hundred face Zabaniya and it is your job to blend in with them and act like them till you find the one who has the silver coin in there chest wrappings, they are dumb when not a part of me so if you do it right they will think you are just another face, fail and they will realize you aren't one of them and kill you".

I raised my eyebrow and said, "like honestly kill me?"

Hundred faces then materialized a knife and ran it across my chest leaving a small gash. She really wasn't joking.

I took a deep breath in and started to mimic the movements and speech patterns of the other faces till finally I noticed one with a rather odd bulge in their chest. I then masterfully turned the other faces on him and stole the coin much to the amusement of the true Hassan of A hundred faces.

"very good Arkino, tell me how did it feel?" Hundred face chuckled.

I smiled and said, "like it was truly a part of me, may I ask you a question hundred face sensei?"

Hundred face then turned into an old man and said, "anything my boy"

"how am I mastering these so easily, normally it would take me a couple days or even a week to do something this crafty" I asked,

She then pointed over to one of the doors and to my horror it was filled with my corpses.

Hundred faces then said, "you have been doing these tests for a long time, though your memories don't show it you've actually died loads of times during these tests, however the chalice brought you back to life every single time mainly because you were truly worthy of its power"

I felt like I was going to puke.

"s-so your saying I'm not the original Jango?" I said mortified.

Hundred faces shook their head and said, "technically you are and you aren't, to put it in scientific terms, you are currently in a temporary time loop, starting when you woke up after you drank from the chalice and the loop will only end once you've managed to get the drop on the King without him noticing you, however there will be a checkpoint of sorts once you have defeated Cursed Arm"

I started to vomit and the idea I have died over and over again and can't even remember how.

Hundred faces looked at me and said, "this will be the 500th time you've done these trials, so hopefully its your lucky chance"

I got up and slapped my cheeks and said, "what's next?"

Hundred faces chuckled and said, "the next trial is with Cursed Arm, he will test you in combat and stealth"

I nodded my head and followed her to a building that had a huge pile of my corpses outside of it it was almost like a mountain of my bodies.

Hassan of Serenity then popped up out of nowhere and said, "you've died the most on this one in particular, word of advice Cursed Arm's Zabaniya is called delusional Heartbeat, it allows him to remove the covering around his right arm to reveal it is just his elbow, the rest of his arm has a ridiculous range and if he scratches your heart with it, he can create a copy of it and destroy it, killing you off"

Hassan of a hundred faces said, "actually you died the most by kissing Serenity when she tried to flirt with you"

I blushed as Serenity said, "Kiss? Bitch he straight up had sex with me!"

I groaned in frustration. You mean I lost my virginity and couldn't even remember! God damn it!

I shuttered and said, "so I have no idea what I'll be going into will I?"

Both Serenity and Hundred faces shook their heads. Well, guess its time to do some guess work. I took a deep breath in and looked around till I saw a window. Calmly I started to climb up and into the window avoiding the person sleeping in the bed by holding onto the pipe on the ceiling. Looking at the floor I noticed how ancient the floors were, if I dropped down Cursed Arm will hear me and I will be dead. I calmly climbed the Ceiling pipe till I managed to spot Cursed arm. Leaping silently down I snuck up behind him turning a simple piece of wood into a dagger and poking him in the back.

"you've finally beaten the trials" Cursed Arm cackled leading me outside the building.

Once outside, Cursed arm then chuckled and said, "now that you have learned everything it is time to show you the true power of the Zabaniya, let's just say you will die a lot"

I groaned and said, "so this is basically like a checkpoint in a video game now"

Serenity nodded and said, "drink up" before handing me the Chalice again.

Drinking it I passed out and experienced the same pain again till I woke up and found myself in the same tent Serenity had me in the first time.

When I walked out I realized my right prosthetic was…well it was red and the fingers were more boney looking and hand claws on it.

Cursed Arm looked at me and said, "well it seems your body has adjusted nicely to the upgrades, your right hand is still a prosthetic and can still use your gear so don't worry"

Hundred faces then showed up with a man tied up and said, "this will be the 50th time you've done this, and honestly we've gone through a lot of people, like I think you've single handedly whipped out the population of the shrouded islands with how many times you've failed"

I calmed myself and felt my power course through my right arm, with a growl I shouted, "Zabaniya Delusional Heartbeat!"

Suddenly my arm shot out like a length of rope only red and glowing and my hand became bigger. With pinpoint accuracy I scratched the mans heart making a copy of it in my hand and with a clean movement I crushed it killing him.

Serenity then said, "well you don't need to learn my Zabaniya…mainly because while you were in that little coma I made sure to inject you with my blood giving you my poison skin, but don't worry"

She then pointed over to a girl who was stabbed and said, "you managed to hug that Thug without poisoning her…though we had to kill her to make sure she didn't tell anyone about this place"

I then looked at Hundred faces who said, "hey don't look at me kid, my Zabaniya is literally just me being able to split myself into multiple beings each with a different personality"

I calmed myself and used this power shouting, "Zabaniya, Delusional Illusion!", splitting myself into two other beings, one was dressed in lime green wraps, almost like snake scales with two Kamas in his hands. The other was dressed in full plate armor with a huge shield and mace. The two of them turned to me and the one in green cackled and said, "I am your hateful side, call me Jade"

The other noble knight kneeled and said, "I am the good within you, call me Daedalus the noble knight within your heart"

Hundred faces chuckled and said, "two strong faces are better than a hundred weaker ones, don't feel sorry just because you were only able to conjure two of them"

I nodded and said, "what happens now?"

Serenity and the other two Hassans then looked over at some smoke that was coming from the coast and said, "now we show you what we are capable of".

It was….well it was rather scary to hear such a young girl cackle like a villain. As soon as the blindfold was removed I was greeted with the sight of hundreds of thugs sitting around camp fires eating.

"what is this?" I asked curiously.

Serenity chuckled and said, "this is your chance to see, your predecessors in action just to show you what you have to live up to, plus this group of thugs are trespassing on our island so it is time to make them pay!"

Hundred faces nodded before they transformed into a Persian belly dancer. They giggled and said, "watch closely young one for you will now watch how we truly work!" before her and Serenity disappeared into the shadows and then reappeared in a nearby thick grass where some thugs were standing and patrolling.

Serenity teased and Hundred faces lured the two guards away and Cursed arm grabbed my head and said, "follow" and we rushed passed them via the trees and I watched as Serenity kissed the one thug turning him into a pile of slag and Hundred faces slit the other thugs throat open. I was then forced to watch as the three Hassans went through the entire camp slowly killing every single member without as much as a scream of pain. Just silence and the smell of dead ripe in the air.

Cursed Arm then said, "you have proven yourself worthy of our power and have seen it in action, now comes the ultimate test, if you can use your skills and what we have taught you to infiltrate the courtyard while The King Hassan is talking to All Might, and hold a blade to his throat, you are truly worthy to be called the 20th Hassan"

I nodded my head and said, "it will be done" and rushed off to the palace where I could see all of Hundred face's copies everywhere. With a calm mind I managed to sneak past them acting like one of them before making my way close to the courtyard, I know the old man wouldn't fall for it so I stuck to the shadows blending in with them and even becoming one with the shadows as I snuck past more of them before finally reaching behind the old man and poking him with the dagger.

"that's game, my king" I said with a chuckle.

The old man chuckled and said, "very good my boy, you will make a fine 20th wielder of the Zabaniya!"

I chuckled removing my mask and bowing saying, "your words humble me, my king"

All Might laughed and said, "great Job Jango my boy, now then shall we take our leave"

The old man turned to All Might and said, "yes I think It is time you two leave and return with this newfound power"

The Old man raised his hand and said, "before thou leave Jango, thou must add thy knowledge to the chalice, cut thy hand and let some of thy blood flow into it"

I then pointed to the prosthetic and said, "you really want oil in the chalice?"

This made the old man laugh and well, hearing this 7-foot-tall buff old man laugh was terrifying. Like it wasn't even a laugh it was just a series of low grunts that varied in tones almost like a laugh.

"I forgot thou had those, very well we wilt slice thy arm" The Old Man chuckled before grabbing the chalice and bringing it over to me where Cursed Arm grabbed my arm and serenity sliced it with a knife letting my blood drip into it till the cup had more blood in it.

The Old man chuckled saying, "the blood price has been paid, we welcome thou to our fold, Hassan of the Deimos Blade"

"Path of Deimos?" I asked.

The Old Man nodded and said, "Deimos, the Greek god of chaos, he who assassins and heroes alike remember as the best swordsman to grace the world, thou shall bare his name, for thou bare his blade, Miyabi a blade those worthless and cowardly men of the shie hassaikai stole from Alamut castle many years ago…it has finally found a worthy wielder once more"

Serenity giggled and said, "you will need a hero name if you wish to continue being a hero like you said you wanted to"

This made All Might raise an eyebrow and say, "so you still are on the path of good!"

I nodded my head and smugly said, "so you really did have doubts about me?"

All Might started to sweat and say, "n-not at all young Jango!"

I chuckled and we started to head back to the mainland.

Once we got far enough time started to move naturally, and with a chuckle I said, "Athena, start work on upgrading Tartarus, if I am to truly live up to the title of the Hassan of the Deimos Blade I must look the part"

Athena nodded and said, "the foundry is currently getting heated up and ready, I should also tell you that Gabby and Mina invited…well they invited the entire class to the house because apparently you owe them all an explanation even though I explained it pretty damn good, they just want to hear it from your mouth"

I groaned and said, "very well"

Once back on dry land I looked at All Might and said, "need a lift?"

All Might waved his hand and said, "no, no, no im good" before leaving me.

Once inside the Blademobile I realized I had left my clothes and all my shit back on the island. I was about to get out and get back on the boat but Serenity was right in front of me the moment I opened the door.

"you left your clothes back on the island, Cursed Arm was about to sell them online when I grabbed them for you" Serenity said handing me a bag with my clothes.

I nodded at her and watched her turn to smoke and vanish.

"Athena" I said sitting down in my seat, "Take me home"

Athena nodded and said, "oh by the way Katsuki Bakugou just made a purchase from a pizza place, and had it delivered to Olympus, apparently they are going to have a Pizza party at your place, shall I remove them all"

I was afraid this day would come, a day that I would have to tell my classmates the truth about my past.

I took a deep breath in and said, "negative Athena…its time they at least knew the truth about me"

As soon as I made it back to Olympus I saw Midoriya outside waiting for me. Here we go show time. I calmly got out of the car realizing I was still in my assassins garb. Well, I can't change now.

Midoriya then ran up to me and said, "Jango, is that you? You look buffer and what's with that clothing?"

"I'll explain inside" I said walking in to see everyone laughing, eating Pizza, drinking sodas and even singing on a karaoke machine.

Athena then made a hologram of herself and said, "I took the liberty of getting rid of the Paparazzi that was outside while you were away 9292".

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me as I walked, walked up to my room, changed and came back down in some sweat pants and my AC/DC t-shirt.

"okay so…I guess I owe you all an explaination" I chuckled walking over and grabbing a chair in front of the TV.

Bakugou growled and said, "you bloody fucking do! First of what the fuck is with those…Quirk Blades, secondly who the fuck are you really, and thirdly how the hell are you so good at combat!"

I chuckled and started to tell them who I really was, no secrets…I trusted these people enough to divulge every bit of information about what I am and who I truly was.

"and well….thats how I ended up at UA, as for what happened with that man during the Sports Festival, that man is the King of the Assassins, the first Hassan I sabbah, the first Old Man of The Mountain, and as of today I am the 20th wielder of its power, the Zabaniya my title is the Hassan of the Deimos blade." I said.

Everyone looked like they were staring at a freak of nature. A true monster. I was honestly terrified over what they were going to say.

Finally Yamomo stood up and said, "well…your past is truly horrible and your story is sad but…we don't see you any different you are, and always will be our class mate, even if you are this Hassan"

I smiled and nodded my head and Midoriya rushed over to me and said, "so you truly are the son of Dageshi, everyone has speculated that somehow a member of the family survived but some people called us crazy, I am so happy to see someone survived!"

I pushed Midoriya back and laughed a bit, "woah now fanboy ease up on this, no one must know that I survived though, hell other heroes shouldn't know that I am from the dark legion program so keep this on the down low, okay"

Gabby giggled and said, "well at least now the hero family squad has a new member, I was getting tired of it just being me Brodoroki and Iida, welcome to the club, now then shall we party!"

We all then spent the rest of the night partying and I made plans to go before school to see the ruins of my old house, and finally pay my respects to my family.
