"Lady Sana, it seems your husband..."

"Yes, so it does seem he has betrayed me. Take the other two with you. We'll have to implement the contingency plan." Sana responded as she turned her back on the leader of her private assassins.

"Of course, my lady."

"Before you go. Is it ready?" Sana asked, glancing back at him.

"The mystical infusion was completed an hour ago. So it will be ready for you to use."

Sana nodded as she dismissed him. 'Now, my dear husband, you'll find out why you shouldn't have betrayed me.'

The private assassin leader left her room and joined the other two. "Lady Sana has initiated the contingency plan. She wants this done as soon as possible."

"Then does this mean..."

"Yes, she is going to go ahead with the plan. I've informed her the mystical infusion was complete. So when we come back from our mission, our lady will begin."

They glanced at one another and started chanting, then they vanished.

When Sana saw them disappear, she left her room and walked down to the main floor. She entered the secret entrance to the underground corridors. Sana continued on her way to the room where Sana has Kaye as a prisoner. She was halfway there and came upon a table with her sword laid on top. Sana stopped in front of the table and looked over her weapon as Sana saw the mystical aura glow around the blade. She reached down and grabbed it. Once Sana took hold of the sword, she felt the magic surge in her hands.

The power she felt made her feel intoxicated. It was the power she wanted to acquire ever since she had her first taste. Sana saw what magic and magical items could do to people. Sana witnessed magic being able to heal the sick and fix the broken. But on the other side, she experienced how the magical arts hurt, and most of all, destroy. Sana learned two life-changing lessons. Magic is a living weapon, and magic will have a connection to the one who wields it, good or evil. It didn't matter who was in control of it. Whoever had the strongest will be able to wield the strongest of magic. Sana started on her way once again to Kaye's room with her sword in hand.

When Sana arrived, she typed in the command to open the door. It whooshed open, and then she walked inside. "Is the Nephilim enjoying her accommodations?"

In the central part of the room, Kaye was suspended in mid-air by chains and shackles. Manacles from the ceiling secured Kaye's wrists. Shackles stretched upwards from the floor wrapped around her ankles. When Kaye heard Sana addressing her, she glanced down. Kaye noticed Sana seemed different. It wasn't because of the sword itself she saw Sana holding. It was the power Kaye sensed from Sana instead.

Sana closed her eyes and smiled, "Ah, I can hear your heart. It increased its speed. So you are either excited or afraid." Sana opened her eyes and floated into the air. She locked her eyes within Kaye's sight. A notably creepy smile creased her face, and she hovered back a bit. "You are afraid. Good, you should be. Otherwise, if you weren't, then I'd have to do something to make you fear me."

It was true Kaye was feeling fear. She did feel her heart beating faster. It didn't help to be chained and shackled in mid-air. "Wait, let me guess why you're visiting me. Let's see. We're getting close to the end-game, and you're going to spill out your plan to me."

Sana shook her head, "No, not quite yet, but you'll find out soon enough. I won't have to tell you. Because Kaye, you'll experience it first hand. But we'll have to wait. I'm expecting company."

"So you decided to throw on some shackles and hang out with me until they arrive?" Kaye replied.

Sana raised a brow, "Humor, why do those who are afraid resort to such a droll tactic?"

"Not sure. Oh, I know, let's switch roles. You can be the prisoner, and I'll be the evil-bitch-psychopath." Kaye quipped.

"I don't think so," Sana replied as she willed her eyes to phase black. She grabbed Kaye's throat and forced jarring pain into her. A maniacal laugh erupted from Sana when she heard Kaye's scream of intense pain. Sana withdrew her hand as the creepy smile stayed on her lips. "I found this very humorous. Didn't you?"

Kaye's breathing labored, her heart raced a mile a minute, she felt her throat tingle from the pain. Her adrenaline rushed throughout her body. Kaye narrowed her eyes at Sana.

"Aww, what's the matter? The little Nephilim doesn't like my sense of humor?" Sana taunted as her eyes phased back to normal. She laughed, "Don't worry, this is only the beginning of our little party. We're just waiting for a few more guests to arrive. We won't have long to wait." Sana floated down to the floor and walked over to the altar. Sana sat down and laid her sword next to her.

Ammon hacked his way into the security camera from Kaye's room. His eyes went wide when he saw what happened. 'Kuso, mom!' Ammon was with Kento's parents at the restaurant waiting for Kento to come back with the others. He was about to make his way towards Mr. and Mrs. Rei Faun, but he stopped when he saw his mother's assassins encircling them. 'What are they doing here?' He edged his way closer to the front but stopped again when he heard them talking.

"Get out of our restaurant. As you can see, we're in the middle of renovations." Mr. Rei Faun said as he kept his wife close.

The leader narrowed his eyes at him, "I don't think you realize the situation, old man."

Mr. Rei Faun glared at him, "First, you don't have the right to call me old man. Second, We realize the situation fine. The three of you are assassins from the Jade Thorn."

"You heard of us. I'm impressed."

"You shouldn't be. I've dealt with your kind back in Shigong with my brother Shen!"

Ammon put his device in his pocket while keeping his eyes on the situation. He took a few deep breaths and entered the main room. "Step away from them."

The leader of the group glanced back at him. Amusement in his voice, "Ammon, if you think you have any pull because you're Lady Sana's son. You're mistaken."

Ammon stood his ground, "I believe you're the one who is making a mistake, assuming I care what you think."

Mr. Rei Faun glanced over at him, "Get out of here, Ammon!"

"No. I'm staying. I've grown up around these people. I'm not afraid." Ammon replied, "Besides, these idiots can't touch me. They know my so-called mother would kill them if they tried."

"You're an arrogant one."

Ammon shrugged, "I'm a teenager. I'm supposed to be arrogant."

"You were born under a lucky sign, boy. We don't have time for you. We have orders to bring these two back with us." He turned his attention back to the Rei Fauns.

The assassins raised their arms and faced their palms towards them as they started chanting.

As they were going to take cover, Mr. and Mrs. Rei Faun have become frozen in place.

Ammon's eyes grew wide. He charged at the leader. Ammon yelled as he flew backward and knocked out a supporting pillar. He landed on his side and winced. "No!" Ammon shouted as they vanished. The ceiling came crashing down all around him. Ammon glanced up and then curled into a ball and covered his head as he disappeared under the rubble.

The five appeared in Kaye's room. The assassins released Mr. and Mrs. Rei Faun from their spell but stayed in the room.

Sana smiled at them, "Mom, dad, welcome."

Mr. and Mrs. Rei Faun glared at Sana. "You are the furthest thing from being associated with our family. Especially when you forced our son to marry someone like you!"

Sana threw her head back and laughed. She then collected herself and looked at them with a dangerous gleam in her eyes. "Kento must have finally told you the truth. Oh well, it doesn't matter. You might want to look up towards the center of the room."

Mr. and Mrs. Rei Faun frowned and then turned around and looked up. They saw Kaye secured by the shackles. "Kaye!"

Mrs. Rei Faun narrowed her eyes and whipped around as she glared at Sana. "Let Kaye go this instant!"

"I don't think so. Kaye stays, and so do you. I have plans, and all of you are a part of them." Sana replied as she shook her head.

Mrs. Rei Faun returned her attention to Kaye. "We've been so worried about you. None of us knew where you were. No word and now we understand why."

Mr. Rei Faun kept his focus on the three assassins who stayed close to him and his wife. "How long have you been a prisoner?"

"Since the day I went to pick up Kento at the airport," Kaye replied, and then she glared at Sana. "They don't need to be involved in whatever scheme you have cooking up in your psychotic head!"

"Oh, but they do. My husband must pay for his betrayal to me. So by taking my scorn out on you three. He won't betray me ever again." Sana replied with a sinister smile. "I knew I had no chance to win his love. He gave his heart to you, Kaye. Like I know you gave yours to him. I don't have much need for love. Power is all I want, all I crave, and all I need."

Mr. Rei Faun narrowed his eyes at her, "What about your son?"

Sana raised a brow, "What about Ammon?"

"Don't you love him? Wouldn't you do anything for Ammon? Why would you forsake your son for power?"

"Ammon is nothing more to me than a tool. A means to an end. He has talents which I need. Ammon understands this technological world. He gets access into our victims' accounts and bleeds them dry. I and my other assassins make them bleed. It's a win on both counts."

Ammon groaned when he started to regain consciousness. He reached behind his head and seethed when he felt a giant bump on the back of it. 'Owww. I have to get word to Kento about his parents.' Thinking to himself as he reached for his device. Ammon started to pull it from his pocket, but then it crumbled to pieces when he held it. 'Great. What? Am I hallucinating, or are there people close?' Ammon yelled from the top of his lungs a few times. He heard people running in his direction. He could have sworn he heard someone telling him to hold on. It took a few minutes, but then a light shone through. He winced from the brightness.

"Ammon, are you all right?"

"Kento..."

The orange Ronin smiled in relief and reached down to help him from under the rubble. "Hey, what happened? Where are my parents?"

Ammon took his time getting loose. He assessed himself, and when he knew he didn't have anything broken, he looked at him. "Gomen. I tried to stop them."

Kento frowned, deeply, as he looked at Ammon and then glanced back at the others. "Ammon!"

"Ow! My head still hurts, thank you very much!" Ammon grumbled as he stepped back from him.

Kento sighed, "Gomen, but what did you mean by what you said?"

"Your parents are prisoners. The three assassins, they took your parents. The same ones who took Kaye when she first disappeared." Ammon replied quietly. "I tried to stop them..."

Kento laid a comforting hand upon Ammon's shoulder. "I appreciate you trying. I'm sorry you got hurt. You've done enough. Let us handle the rest. You can stay here. I have a score to settle with Sana."

Ammon looked up at him, "I have one too in case you forgot."

Kento shook his head as he moved his hand, "I know you do. But you don't have mystical armor or any powers. I think you'll be safer if you stay here."

"I don't care about powers! I can handle myself! Besides, I know the mansion inside and out. You are going to need me to guide you through the different secret passageways to get in undetected. So I am going rather you like it or not."

"Kento, I think Ammon has a point. He does know the place and the security." Rowen pointed out and then looked over at him. "Ammon, stay close, and don't try to go off on your own."

"If it's the only way you'll let me come, then, fine, I'll stay close." Ammon agreed.

"Sana has gone too far. She took Kaye, and now she has my parents. I'm going to get them back. Even if I have to take Sana's life." Kento vowed in a dangerous tone. He whirled around and stormed out of the restaurant.

The others glanced at one another and then followed Kento. They could see how bound and determined Kento was about killing Sana to get them back. The thought of Kento taking a life sent chills up and down their spines. They knew they had to be by Kento's side through the rest of the way to hope it won't end with Kento going through with his vow.
