Chapter 26 season 2 Aftermath of the hero killer stain

The moment after Stain's death we rushed everyone to the hospital, hell even I got checked up mainly because of the dents in my prosthetics as well as the wound in my chest. As I lied in the hospital bed I got a text message from Abdul.

"66 million has been transferred to your bank account".

I chuckled and laid back, "fuck that was an interesting fight"

Todoroki groaned and said, "yeah because you barely fought"

"I know but still his Quirk was something fascinating" I chuckled eating a bit of watermelon that the nurses brought in.

Deku looked at us and said, "you know Thinking about that fight now, we did something pretty amazing"

Todoroki nodded and said, "yeah, I agree"

Deku then said, "After everything that happened back there, it kinda feels like a miracle we're even alive. With my leg messed up I was an easy target. He probably could've killed me if he really wanted to"

Todoroki then examined his wound on his arm and said, "Seems to me he let us both live on purpose, I'm impressed by you though, Iida. He was actually trying to murder you, but you stood tall"

Iida shook his head and said, "That's not true, I was—"

We all looked over to see the cloaked figure of the Hassan of the cursed arm, Best Jeanist, Gran Torino, and the pro hero Manual

"ahh I see the young'uns are awake" Gran Torino said.

Deku smiled and said, "Gran Torino!"

Todoroki looked at me and said, "do you know the cloaked man Jango"

"know him, he's one of my 19 predecessors, everyone this is the Hassan of the Cursed Arm" I said.

The hassan looked at us and said, "we heard about your fight, we are impressed by all of you, standing up to a foul creature like Stain, though we are very impressed by you Jango, using the Zabaniya of Delusional Illusion to save people was very smart, hundred faces is beyond proud"

I smirked and said, "well I did have some big shoes to fill so I guess I had to start somewhere and figure out some new ways to use what skills I do have to become a better hero"

Gran Torino then said, "if you are done praising the them Hassan" he then turned his attention to Deku and said, "idiot, I could yell at you for hours right now."

Deku shrunk a little and said, "yeah. I'm sorry"

Gran Torino then said, "But before I do, you've got a visitor"

A person with a Doberman head in a well-dressed suit walked in

Gran Torino introduced him saying, "this is Hosu's chief of police, Kenji Tsuragamae"

We all started to get up but Kenji said, "No, please, stay seated, woof"

Wait did he actually woof.

He then said, "so, you're the U.A. students who brought down the Hero Killer, huh?"

Todoroki then said, "technically it was Jango who landed the final blow, but we were the ones who started it"

Kenji then said, "Stain has some serious injuries. Severe burns, broken bones, his heart found outside of his body without any sign of it being torn out, blade wounds and even frost bite. We decided it would be best if here were alive so we had a person with a resurrection Quirk bring him back to life and Right now he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof"

I groaned and said, "are you fuckin kidding me, I just got paid for killing him too!"

The Hassan of the cursed arm looked at me and said, "relax Jango…we already negotiated with the client in question and he is okay with the amount he paid you, so you do not need to repay him"

Kenji then said, "here's a lesson you should have all learned. When Quirks became the norm, the police force sought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use Quirks as weapons. That's when heroes came in. they could do what we couldn't, if they were licensed, of course, woof. To condone the use of deadly Quirks. After all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason pros can use their powers now is because of the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their Quirks to cause injury. Assassins on the other hand don't have to abide by such rules because the Hassan I Sabbah, the first Man Of The Mountain keeps them in line and there work, though Taboo is legal as long as there is a bounty on the person they use their quirk on. Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not, only Jango had the authority to harm the villain. For the rest of you and your supervisors, Endeavor, Manual, and Gran Torino sgould receive harsh punishments for this gross abuse of your powers"

Todoroki then shouted, "Now wait a minute! If Iida had not stepped in, Native would've been murdered! And if not for Midoriya both of them would be dead! No one else even realized that the Hero Killer was in Hosu! Are you saying we should've just stood by and watched people die!?"

Deku looked at Todoroki and said, "calm down!"

Kenji then said, "so it's okay to break the law as long as it goes your way?"

Todoroki argued back saying, "But, sir, isn't it a hero's job to save people?"

Kenji sighed and said, "this is why you're not a full-fledged pro yet nor an Assassin. It's obvious U.A and Endeavor haven't been teaching you near enough, what a shame"

Hassan chimed in saying, "that rational and heart may have gotten you killed by our King if you were an assassin young boy, you must learn to tame that fire"

Todoroki snapped and said, "you bastards!" before walking up to the Hassan and Kenji.

Iida shouted, "Todoroki listen, he's right"

Gran Torino then got in front and said, "stop there, kid, you'll wanna hear them both out till the end"

Kenji then said, "what I've said is the official stance of the police department but any punishment would only be necessary if this went public or if Jango hadn't brought in Stain's corpse, if it did went public you'd probably be applauded by citizens everywhere but there's no way you could escape from being reprimanded, luckily though Jango will be taking all the credit for the death of Stain"

Hassan chimed in again and said, "thankfully there were very few witnesses to say otherwise, and Jango you will be at the press Interview however you are not allowed to mention the students, if you do, we will kill you"

I groaned and said, "but I have never done press interviews!"

Hassan cackled and said, "good luck because I wont be helping you nor will any of the Hassans"

Manual chimed in saying, "either way, we'll need to take responsibility for being negligent as supervisors"

Iida walked over and bowed to Manual and said, "I'm sorry. I should've listened"

Manual lightly tapped Iida on the head and said, "Yeah! You caused us a lot of trouble! Remember that, and don't do it again!"

Deku then bowed and said, "And… I apologize as well"

Todoroki bowed and said, "Me, too., Jango we'll leave it to you"

Kenji bowed and said, "Allow me, as the chief of police, to thank you."

Todoroki then said, "you know. You could've started with that"

Later that day I had my Interview where I said I did most of the work, while Endeavor was no where to be seen, dealing with another Nomu attack. The press ate it up and I hated the fact that the press would not stop talking about my ties to the assassins, I liked it, but I was wishing the would focus on another aspect instead.

As soon as I left I saw on the news that they were still talking about Stain and how I brought him down. I had a feeling though…with Stain's defeat…did we just poke the sleeping bear. I think we just awoken an even greater villain one who not even All Might could take on alone. I had more things to deal with though, I was still expected back at Best Jeanist's hero agency, and since Athena couldn't call up another ride….mainly because Apollo was pissed at me for destroying this one I had to take the train. Luckily Gabby was there to pick me up.

"so you took down the Hero Killer" Gabby smiled.

I nodded and said, "he was a worthy opponent I will give him that, but his Quirk was utterly useless because of my blood being Plasma, so how did things go with you and Bakubro? I heard you two had a date while I was busy healing up and doing press talk"

Gabby nodded and said, "me and Bakubabe are now a couple"

I patted her on the back and said, "not bad kiddo I knew you had it in you"

Gabby smiled and opened the door to the hero agency where I was welcomed back like a hero"

"not bad Jango, you truly showed your mettle out there" Jeanist said walking up to me.

I smiled and said, "well it's the least I could do"

Jeanist then called us all into a meeting and said, "let's take a moment to talk about the incident that happened a day ago in Hosu, the Hero Killer Stain was arrested. There were also incidents with villains who resembled Nomu from the U.A attack, You're likely worried how this all stiches together. Well, I, too, am concerned, People tend to come apart at the seams in times like this. That's why we heroes must remain calm despite our fears. Don't let chaos tempt you inro thoughtless overreaction. Remember, we're here to protect others, not seek out vengeance, it'll be business as usual today. Standard material. May your minds and bodies be as sharp as your jeans."

We all shouted Thank you, Best Jeanist! Went off to do our own things. As I was on my computer typing up some reports for the Hosu incident I saw Uwabami's latest commercial and called over Gabby and Bakugou to see it.

Uwabami chuckled on the commercial and said, "No matter how damaged your hair is, our new formula is sure to deeply penetrate each strand"

Suddenly the commercial cut to show Kendo and Yamomo WITH ACTUAL CURLS IN THEIR HAIR.

The commercial continued, "such shine! Such volume! Such luxury. Easy curls with just one spritz Uneri Hair spray, come on, ladies. Ride the waves" The girls looked so nervous it was actually hilarious.

"Jango care to tell me whats so funny?" Best Jeanist said coming up to us and tying all our demin together.

"oh its just a commercial my friends were in boss, their faces were so nervous!" I said showing him the commercial.

"one must not laugh at the attempt, however I will admit they look out of their elements" Jeanist said examining the video.

Gabby giggled and said, "maybe Jannet would be a better fit for the video" before pulling out her phone to show she had taken a picture of me as a woman.

"I mean you have the body for it" Gabby laughed.

I looked at her and said, "delete that!"

Gabby laughed and said, "nope I'm sharing this with Mina"

"no don't do that she'll tell everyone!" I said trying to take the phone.
