Chapter 27 Season 2 Listen Up! A tale from the past

Once our Internship was over I called a ride from Pegasus. I guess Athena took what I said to heart because Black Hummer drove up and when I got in Athena was smugly sitting in the passenger seat of the surprisingly stylish hummer.

"welcome to the Hydra, the toughest and most well-armed vehicle Pegasus has ever produced, it has stylish interiors, a mounted Anti-tank M2 Browning heavy 50. Cal Machine gun, the entire chassis is made of a mix of Damascus steel and tank armor, and the best part is that the entire thing can survive a nuclear bomb" Athena said before flipping me off.

I laughed and said, "okay it may be well armed, but how stylish is it"

Athena snapped her fingers and the driver and passenger seat swiveled to the middle as a full-scale dining room table appeared in the center and a small compartment opened up to reveal drinks were all inside it, the chairs started to heat up and vibrate and a tv screen popped out of the tray.

Athena smugly said, "Apollo made sure this car was suitable for your reckless battle, don't get us wrong the Blade mobile will still be available, but Hydra is by far the toughest of them all and is recommended as your normal Vehicle".

Gabby giggled and said, "at least they are starting to learn their lesson, never give an expensive ass car to Jango"

Athena nodded and said, "I mean…he destroyed two cars in combat we had to do something about it, if he destroys another we'll be giving him a motorcycle instead a temporary vehicle"

"what am I a kid!" I shouted.

Athena looked at me and said, "yes, yes you are"

I stuck my tongue out at Gabby and started to input some extra destinations in the route before it made its way to U.A. surprisingly Bakugou's mother picked him up instead of us having to drive him over, so sadly he wasn't able to drive with us, however Toru needed a lift since her folks were unable to get her and she lost her train ticket. She was with the Ninja hero Ryu for the two weeks and luckily she was a walk away.

"woooah so this is the new blade mobile!" Toru said in awe.

Gabby chuckled and said, "no this is the third version"

Toru said, "oh? What happened to the other one?"

Gabby smugly looked at me and said, "it got destroyed by Jango's reckless driving and a Nomu"

It felt like an arrow hit me in the back with that Comment.

"so are we heading straight Back to Ua" Toru cheerfully said as she leapt into the blade mobile.

I shook my head and said, "I told Kendo, Yamomo, Kirishima, TetsuTetsu and Asui I would pick them up"

Gabby looked at me confused and said, "but there's only four seats?"

I looked at the console and said, "Athena, activate the benches and heaters"

Athena popped up and nodded using the liquid metal to materialize a set of benches in the back of the van and adding a tarp over the back of the hummer as well as a heater in the back.

"Dark Legion tech is crazy!" Gabby said in awe.

I smirked and drove off to pick up the others.

When we picked up TetsuTetsu and Kirishima, Kirishima said, "hey, wheres the Rolls Royce?"

I shrunk down in my seat and said, "it got destroyed by a Nomu….again"

Kirishima started to laugh and say, "that makes two cars you've lost Jango!"

I looked at him and said, "okay just for that no back seat for you! Get in the trunk with Tetsu!"

Kirishima looked shocked and said, "no wait, I was just joking!"

I pointed to the trunk bed and shouted, "in the back or I wont take you"

Fourth Kind walked out to meet us and said, "ahh you must be Jango, I have to admit I wasn't expecting someone so young to be able to drive!"

"oh, I'm not driving it, the car is autonomous though I am learning how to drive as well at the same time" I chuckled.

Fourth Kind chuckled and said, "well let Kirishima and TetsuTetsu's teachers know that they were excellent!"

I nodded my head and drove off.

While driving Gabby frantically tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Mineta at 4 o clock!"

I looked over to see him walking with Mount Lady. With an evil grin I took control of the 50 cal which was now mounted on top of the car instead of the back and pointed it at Mineta and fired a couple rubber bullets at him sending him flying into a trash can, much to the amusement of everyone including Mount Lady.

Mineta then got up and shouted, "Damn you Jango!"

I rolled down the window and flipped him off as we sped off.

Taking a deep breath in I said, "ahhh that's the good shit I have missed!"

Gabby leaned back as if in ecstasy and said, "fuuuck I have missed that!".

Kirishima opened the hatch in the window that separated the truck bed from the main seats and said, "you guys are sadistic"

"its Mineta" I said.

"still though-" Kirishima tried to argue.

Gabby waved her hands and said, "Again it is Mineta"

Kirishima sighed and said, "fair point, it's Mineta"

As we Picked up Kendo and Yamomo, Uwabami giggled and said, "My, My so that's the Jango you were talking about Yamomo, he is quite a hot boy"

Uwabami winked at me and I shuttered. Something was off about the way she winked at me. As Kendo and Yamomo got into the back I looked at Yamomo and said, "what did you say?"

Yamomo giggled and said, "oh nothing just that you were a nice guy and such, what happened to the Rolls Royce?"

I cringed up and said, "Nomu destroyed it"

Yamomo sighed and said, "two really expensive cars destroyed, maybe you shouldn't be driving Jango"

I sighed. Well, I guess I have an older lady who likes me…yeah that's not a bad thing at all, also I really wanted to punch Yamomo now because of that comment about my cars getting destroyed.

As we drove to pick up Asui, I decided to turn on spotify and play some old school rock and roll. The first song to play was my personal favorite, Hungry like the wolf by Duran Duran.

Toru looked at me and said, "wait Jango is this Duran Duran?"

I nodded my head and said, "what, did you expect me to listen to old Greek music?"

Toru chuckled and said, "actually…yes"

I laughed and said, "well don't worry, I actually have a good taste in Music"

We soon made it too the docks where Asui was waiting with captain Selkie and his crew.

"ahh you must be Jango Arkino, nice to meet ya! Tsu here tells me your pretty good at combat!" Captain Selkie said with a smile.

I nodded my head and said, "I pride myself on my CQC, and also my skills as a swordsman"

Captain Selkie nodded and said, "maybe one day we can have a sparing match"

I laughed and said, "you'll lose" before walking off with Asui

Asui then looked at the Hydra and said, "Ribbit, sooo what happened to the Rolls Royce"

I sighed and said, "Nomu"

Asui chuckled and got into the back seat with Toru, thus rounding out all the people who needed to be picked up.

As she got into the car Athena appeared and said, "yaaay theres my best friend!" before giving Asui a hug.

"wait Athena I thought I was your best friend" I said in confusion.

Athena chuckled and said, "you're my boss, Asui is nice so she is my friend"

Asui smiled and said, "ribbit im glad you think of me that way Athena"

Defeated I got back in the driver's seat and started back on the way to U.A, taking streets because the traffic was a nightmare on the highway.

As we were driving and listening to Van Halen, Kirishima opened the panel and said, "hey can we stop and get something to eat we're all pretty hungry"

I looked in the glove compartment and found some energy bars.

"here eat these" I said handing it to him.

Kirishima groaned and said, "nooo we don't want these!"

Toru then stared out the window and said, "oooh we're just about to pass by a McDonalds, Jango can we get some!"

Kirishima shouted, "Yoooo I want me some McDonalds!"

Yamomo chuckled and said, "I could go for some as well"

Kendo sighed and said, "same!"

I said, "No guys"

They all then started to chant McDonalds and I looked at Gabby and said, "help me out here"

Gabby started to chant it with them and with a sigh of defeat I pulled into the drive through and I said, "okay what do you guys want?"

Kirishima chuckled and said, "ooh I want some chicken nuggets!"

Toru seconded that and Gabby laughed and wanted one.

TetsuTetsu shouted, "I'll take a Roasted Soy sauce Double thick beef burger and a powerade!"

Asui tapped on my shoulder and said, "Ribbit I could go for a Teriyaki Chicken Filet-O and a side of chocolate fries if that's not to expensive for you Jango"

Athena then materialized in a tiny form and said, "its not to much for him I assure you!"

Yamomo then looked at the Menu and started to shine as she said, "oooh they have a Gudetama McFlurry! Jango can you get me one as well as a Pork and Ginger burger please I never get a chance to eat fast food and I've seen so many commercials for this!"

Kendo giggled and said, "I'll take what she's having"

I sighed and went up to the window.

"hi there welcome to McDonalds how may I serve you!" the lady said.

"okay, give me, three 10-piece chicken McNuggets meals with medium fries, with Medium root beers, 1 kids chicken McNuggets meal with a medium soda and fry, 2 Gudetama McFlurry, 2 Pork and Ginger burger, A Teriyaki Chicken Filet-O and a side of chocolate fries and a McFlurry with Oreo Cookies , A Roasted Soy sauce Double thick beef burger with a powerade, And 8 Sankaku Choco Pie Black" I said.

I then looked back at the others and said, "okay that's it for me what do you guys want?"

We all shared a laugh and soon got our food. Surprisingly the ice cream machine wasn't broken!

(authors note: these are all actual things you can get at a mcdonalds in Japan I looked it up for this joke)

I managed to give everyone's food minus mine and Kirishima's

"Hey Jango, who's the kids meal for?" Gabby said.

I then smugly handed it back to Kirishima and said, "this is for the child of the group"

We all shared another laugh and ate our unhealthy food and talked on the way back, seeing and running over Mineta again, I guess Mount Lady made him walk home. As soon as we dropped off the others me and Gabby headed towards Pegasus where Apollo was waiting with my armored Rolls Royce replacement.

Apollo scowled at me and said, "well at least you didn't damage Hydra, it will however be ready for your next combat mission"

I nodded and said, "it is really well armored and comfortable I humbly thank you for it" before bowing

Apollo chuckled and let us finally leave to Olympus where Atalanta and Mina were waiting for us.

"hehe theres my Nephew!" Atalanta grinned before hugging me.

I smiled and said, "Hi Auntie!" before hugging back.

"I made Sirloin steaks, roasted Asparagus and roasted Potatoes for dinner tonight feel free to dig in" Atalanta chuckled.

"thanks auntie!" I shouted before me and Gabs went in and ate.

That night I went down to the lab with the pieces of Stain's katana and said, "Athena I need you to rework the sheathe for Miyabi to also holster this blade, which I will dub Nobunaga"

Athena nodded and said, "the sheath will be a bit bigger and not as streamline but I will rework it to house two Katanas"

I smiled and went back to bed after taking some Melatonin.

The next morning Gabby, Mina, and I woke up early in order to go to Pegasus…mainly because the girls liked the Hummer more than the Rolls Royce, so I opped to make Hydra my go to car for a while, till I had a taste for the fancy life again, and on the way to school we ran over Mineta.

Gabby smirked and said, "oohh wait go back there was something cool!"

I backed up slowly crushing Mineta again and said, "what did you see?'

Gabby sighed and said, "nothing".

I then ran over Mineta a couple more times before finally driving off and pelting him with some rubber bullets from the 50 cal.

Gabby looked so aroused as I did this.

"fuuuck that felt so good to run him over!" Gabby laughed.

I smiled and said, "you have a sadistic side, I like that"

We then drove the rest of the way to U.A listening to 99 luftballons. We soon parked right next to Midnight.

"oh damn Jango, I see you went from classy, straight up to something strong like a hummer!" Midnight chuckled.

I sighed and said, "after the destruction of my last car…I've decided to go with something strong and durable just in case"

Midnight giggled and said, 'well, off to class with you guys"

I walked in to see Sero and Kirishima laughing their asses off at Bakugou with his combover.

They both started laughing saying, "Holy crap! What the heck, Bakugou?!"

Bakugou looked like he was about to cry as he said, "Stop Laughing! My hair's gotten used to this and I can't get it back the right way! Did you not hear me? I'll kill you both!"

While Kirishima was having his laughing fit, Sero looked at Bakugou and said, "I'd like to see ya try, pretty boy!"

Bakugou's hair then exploded back into its normal style as he shouted, "what'd you call me!?"

Kirishima and Sero Kept laughing while shouting, "Hey, There it goes!"

Meanwhile Mina was talking to Jirou about her internship as I took my seat. Mina smiled and waved at me and I waved back.

Asui chuckled and said, "I spent basically the whole-time training and cleaning the ship deck. Though, there was this one day we caught a bunch of drug smugglers, and then another we found a whole city under the ocean"

Asui then looked at me and said, "hey Jango I have a picture for you"

I walked over and when Asui handed me the photo I was in shock. They had found Atlantis.

"well I hope you told Selkie not to release this to the public or else I'll have to kill him" I laughed.

Mina and Jirou both looked at me confused.

"ribbit, why is that?" Asui said.

"Because you guys found the Dark Legion Atlantis Facility" I smirked.

Asui's eyes widened, "no way, that entire city! That's a dark legion facility!"

I nodded my head and said, "one of the biggest ones"

Asui whistled and said, "I'll send a message to Selkie about it, hopefully he'll understand"

Asui then turned to Uraraka and said, "what about you Ochako, how was your week?"

We all turned to Uraraka and saw she was…well she reminded me of me when I was a recruit in the legion. The fire in her eye, the absolute rush she must have felt from learning how to fight, I had a feeling that Kirby now knew some martial arts and would be a rather interesting opponent.

Uraraka took up a fighting stance and said, "I'd say that it was very enlightening"

Asui looked at me and said, "I think she found her fighting spirit"

Mineta though looked traumatized from his experience.

Kaminari chuckled and said, "well one thing is for certain out of all of us Jango is the one who changed the most along with those three" while pointing at Deku, Iida and also Todoroki

Sero looked over at us and said, "Oh, yeah! The Hero Killer!"

Kirishima looked over at them a little worried and said, "Glad you guys made it back alive. Seriously. Jango here saved your asses"

I felt a little guilty, I wanted to say they did most of the work and I just showed up last minute to help, I really wanted to. But I couldn't Hassan of the Cursed Arm made it clear that I could not give them credit.

Yamomo looked at Deku and them and said, "I worried about you, too"

Sato chuckled and said, "You were lucky Jango showed up and saved you guys"

Mina hugged me and said, "yeah Jango here is a life saver which is why I like him so much!"

I smirked and said, "it was nothin, I'm just glad they weren't hurt as bad…Stain was a formidable Opponent even by my standards, the fact the three of them didn't get killed just shows how resilient they have become"

Mina giggled and said, "so kind!"

Ojiro then pulled out his phone and said, "Did you guys hear the news about the Hero killer? Everyone's been saying that he was somehow connected to the League of Villains, can you imagine how frightening it would've been if that creep had been there when they attacked the USJ?"

Kaminari turned to us and said, "He's scary, yeah. But did you see him in that weird video? Its all over the internet!"

Ojiro looked over at Kaminari and said, "I didn't even know there was a video of him"

Kaminari nodded and said, "Yeah, Stain's a pretty evil Villain, but, like, super tenacious, he's almost kinda cool, dontcha guys think?"

Deku then shouted, "Kaminari!"

Kaminari realized that he had just called the guy who made Ingenium a cripple cool and said, "Uh oh! Dude!"

Iida waved his hand and said, "No its okay. You're fine"

I looked at Kaminari and said, "actually that makes him even more dangerous"

Kaminari looked at me confused and said, "how?"

"it's a basic tactic in warfare a lot of people refer to as a Martyr, stain may not have died, but his beliefs are strong, strong enough to rally others who are equally or even more fanatic than him, think about it this way, if All Might was put to death by the government there would be hundreds taking up arms trying to overthrow said Government, its no different with Stain, by bringing him in I just placed a huge target on my back…so knowing that theres a video out about him…its not cool its terrifying" I said.

Asui chuckled and said, "Leave it to Jango to think of things we didn't even think of"

Deku looked at me and said, "are you okay Jango, if people come after you Olypmus isn't safe"

I laughed and said, "trust me Deku Olympus is by far the most secure place in Japan, with reinforced walls, anti-quirk barrier, and even the point defense turrets"

Iida then shouted, "everyone, please take your seats!"

We were all then escorted to another training ground this time one that looked like a steel mill where All Might was waiting for us.

With a smile on his face All Might shouted, "Hope you're ready to return to our lessons. Today it's Hero Basic Training. Feels like I haven't seen you in a while. Welcome back! Now then, Listen carefully for what's in store. We're going to be conducting a little race. Take everything you've learned from your internships and apply it to this rescue training"

Iida raised his hand and said, "If it's rescue training then shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?"

All Might smirked and said, "Ah, that facility specializes in disasters. As I said earlier, this is a race. So, prepare, You're about to step into Field Gamma! Inside is an area full of factories that form an intricate labyrinth so good luck finding your way around, you'll be competing in groups of five, minus Gabby and Jango you two will only be a group of two, each person starts from a different location on the outskirts of the model city, I'll send a distress signal, and you do what you must to rescue me. Whoever finds me first wins! But try to keep the property damage to a bare minimum please" before pointing at Bakugou.

Bakugou growled and said, "why're you pointing at me"

Gabby giggled and said, "come on you know why babe"

We all then sat around and watched as other groups went and saved All Might showing how far everyone had come along through there Internship, it set a fire in my heart because finally everyone was on par at least with me so this will be great for me, finally I don't have to worry about holding back!

Soon it was mine and Gabby's turn to eneter the maze, and hold nothing back. As soon as All Might told us to go I shouted, "Zabaniya Delusional Illusion!" and split off into my three forms using Jade's keen eyes to guide me, and Orions brute strength to lift me into the air. As soon as I was up high enough I broke out my Quirk blades and stabbed myself with a Hermes Quirk blade and started to sprint on the very air till I made it to All Might.

"you've grown a lot Jango my boy, but you still rely on those Quirk blades, you need to learn to break that addiction" All Might sighed.

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it" I chuckled.

All Might sighed and said, "okay you two get changed"

I nodded and headed back to the changing room.

Sato sighed and said, "ah, that was some tough training today, uh?"

Aoyama nodded and said, "it's the first class in a while that had me glistening"

Kaminari chuckled and said, "I will admit though Jango and Midoriya caught me off guard, with Midoriya actually jumping around like Bakugou and Jango splitting off into those three beings, I have to admit they changed the most"

Kirishima chuckled and said, "Man, I really gotta work on my mobility"

Tokoyami said, "You could also compensate by improving other skills".

Kaminari sighed and said, "Still wish I could use my Quirk for speed, I'm jealous of guys like you and Sero"

Mineta then said, "Hey, Midoriya! You won't believe what I just found! The jackpot! Someone shawshanked a hole in this wall! A previous generation has given us a gift. You know whats next door, right? This looks into the girls' locker room!"

Iida shouted, "Don't even think about it! Peeping on them like that would be criminal"

I then turned a coat hanger into a blade and said, "Mineta if you even think about it I will not hesitate to kill you"

Mineta started to breathe heavily as he said, "then you'll have to throw me in solitary confinement, 'cuz you can't stop me!" before pealing away the poster.

"I wanna see Yaoyorozu's curves, Olson's sexy Rack, Ashido's slender waist. Hagakure's floating underwear. Uraraka's super-fine body! Asui's unexpectedly soft boobies!" Mineta yelled.

Sometimes I wonder if Mineta's parents are like this and that's why he is the way that he is. If they aren't…well I need to have a chat with them because this horndog is just too much, though I think I'll test out my Poison Body on him some day. Suddenly Jirou's earphone jack shot out of the wall and stabbed Mineta in the eye, followed by him getting slammed against the wall by telekinetic power. I followed this up by pulling out a couple of daggers and pinning him to the wall with a blindfold.

Midoriya shuttered and said, "what a brutal and precise surprise attack from next door!"

As I was heading home I got a message from All Might to meet him in the teacher lounge.

I looked at Gabby and Mina and said, "I'll drop you guys off at Olympus, I have to head back"

Mina and Gabby nodded and as soon as I made it back to Campus I realized Deku was there to, though I was a little late to the meeting

"ah All Might, to what do I owe the pleasure?" I sarcastically said.

All Might looked at me seriously and said, "well…I was talking to Midoriya about the origin of One For ALL"

I looked at Midoriya and said, "he didn't know about All For One?"

All Might shook his head and said, "this next part pertains to you as well Jango"

I sat down and All Might said, "I've always found it ironic that justice so often spawns from evil."

Deku then said, "wait, hold on! I understand how One For All came about now, but this bad guy must be long dead by this point. So why are you bringing him up?"

All Might looked away and said, "One who steals Quirks has no limits. Anything's possible. There are Quirks that Halt aging. He probably has something like that. The symbol of Evil seemed pretty much immortal. With the state of the world at the time and the huge difference in their combat abilities, the younger brother decided to entrust this new Quirk to future generations. Even though he couldn't defeat All For One, he hoped One For All would continue to grow in power, until it was strong enough to stop his older brother, eventually, it was my turn, and I managed to defeat All For One with the help of the Hassan I Sabbah! At least, that's what I thought. But he survived and is now back in action as the brain behind the league of villains , and Jango is tied to him"

I sighed and nodded saying, "I put two and two together when Serenity told me about your fight with All For One…he was the mysterious Benefactor who funded the Dark Legion's Perfected Assassin program…the same people responsible for creating me…they were supposed to add in a special organ into my body, something to make me obey All For One, but Doctor Minerva didn't put it in and I'm guessing this pissed off All For One who tipped of the hero association to the location of the Terrace where the program was taking place"

All Might then walked to the window and said, "Young Midoriya, you now know the entire purpose of One for All is to defeat All For One. As its holder, you may one day have to fight against this great evil yourself. Because I failed. However, you won't be alone, I wasn't, I struck a deal with the assassins to talk to the world governments and make their work legal in exchange for their help, Jango…will you help Young Midoriya? I know you two didn't expect this, but-"

Deku looked at All Might and said, "I'll do my best! I'll do whatever you ask. No matter what it might take! As long as you're with me, and Jango is covering my back during the battle, I can do anything! I know you both'll have my back"

I chuckled and pulled out a knife and parchment paper and said, "Athena draft the contract"

Athena then took control of my prosthetics and wrote down a contract detailing how I will pledge an oath to stand by All Might and Midoriya's side in the battle against All For One and defend them down to my dying breath. I then cut my finger and used my blood to sign it.

"lets make this official" I said handing the knife to Deku who did the same and the All Might who signed it.

All Might smiled at the two of us and said, "Thank you"
