Chapter 3

Jun Pyo and his friends walked the entire island looking for only Jan Di and Ji Hoo. Jun Pyo had the nagging feeling that those two were together, he had seen the way his best friend looked at her that evening as if sending her a message and then he later disappeared.

Jun Pyo knew that Jan Di had continuously showed interest in Ji Hoo and he couldn't help but get jealously after all it was Ji Hoo who saved her from the students who bullied her after the gossip got out that she was no longer the girlfriend of the great Goo Jun Pyo

Jan Di and Ji Hoo had finished their breakfast and went out for fishing.

"Jan Di-ah, I'm sorry for my rude behavior the other day." He held her hands and laced their fingers as a reflex, "I shouldn't have shouted at you"

"It's fine" she shrugged but Ji Hoo still wore a guilty expression on his face "It's perfectly fine" she smiled at him and in return he sighed and pulled her closer to him

"Jan Di-ah, whatever happens later on, I promise we will face it together"

"Ok I trust you Sunbae" she laid her head on his shoulder.

Ji Hoo and Jan Di continued with fishing while playing for a few more minutes and made it to their cabins.

"I will see you tonight at the boat" he then pressed his lips on her cheek and he was gone

Later in the evening the F3 had received a call from Ga Eul saying that Jan Di has been sleeping in her cabin. They had rushed immediately and saw it was true that she was sleeping.

"Geum Jan Di, where did you go last night?" Jun Pyo furiously asked her, she literally had one of her eyes open and gave a small groan and went back to snoring softly. "Wake up and answer me" he yelled and knocked her off her bed.

"Goo Jun Pyo, why are you yelling at me?" she scratched her eyes to get rid of the sleep

"Where did you spend the night?"

"I don't need to tell you where I spent the night. It was you who came to my room without knocking and you even dared to remind me of how you owned the entire island. You never even apologized for how you behaved with me at school. You think money or this trip will solve everything?" she frowned at him.

"Did you spend a night with Yoon Ji Hoo?"

"No, I was out on my own. Now can you get out of my room or you want to join me for a shower?" she turned to leave but it looked like Jun Pyo had another idea in his head. He attempted to kiss her but she pulled away. "Please leave my room. Even if you own the Island, men and women should keep their distance"

Jun Pyo was so angry because Jan Di had boldly rejected him, he thought this trip would solve everything and make her love him but he was wrong and to make matters worse, she was nowhere to be seen same as his best friend.

"So Jun Pyo did you talk to her and apologize with your behavior?" Yi Jeong tried his luck by asking

"I thought this trip was enough to apologize. Women are impossible to understand!"

"You know Jan Di is different, words should speak for themselves not money" Woo Bin said

Now everyone was curious to know what had happened to Jan Di and their naïve friend who was madly in love with a girl that didn't like him back

Jan Di was walking to the boat where Ji Hoo was waiting for her. He had texted saying he would be there when everyone had gone to sleep. She easily found him and took a seat beside him but Ji Hoo gently pulled her in his chest. "Are you ok?" he had seen when Goo Jun Pyo trying to kiss her but she rejected him.

"I'm ok" she put her arms around his waist and made herself comfortable in his broad chest. "Sunbae, about last night" she hid her face in his chest "Did we use protection?"

"Yes I did" he brought Jan Di to arm's length and looked down in her eyes and then to her lips. He leaned in slowly

He then kissed her.

His lips moved slowly against hers. Jan Di didn't know how to properly kiss but she was slowly but surely learning how to kiss. Ji Hoo's hands went to her own and to his neck. Jan Di closed the distance between their bodies. He took his one hand to her waist and pressed her deeply to him and the other went to her face and continued to kiss her deeply.

Their breaths became shallower and then she broke the kiss to finally breath. He gently nipped at her lower lip and stared into her eyes. He could see Jan Di blushing even if it was dark.

Her hand went back to his neck but Ji Hoo gently removed them. He leaned forward and jumped off the boat, standing before her, taking her hands to his neck again, he stepped forward and brought both his hands to her waist and back.

"Are you ok?" he asked again

"Yes I'm ok" she closed her eyes and gently nodded.

Ji Hoo took that as an invitation for him to continue and delved one more time to her lips. He slowly opened his mouth and captured her gasp in it. They shared gentle nips, he felt her do the same thing.

Minutes went by sharing kisses, touches and hugs. Ji Hoo felt someone watching them. They both turned to see that made her comeback from cloud nine

"Goo Jun Pyo."

His best friend was standing there with the look of horror on his face. He moved forward and stood ahead of his friend while he protected Jan Di from his friend's wrath

"So this is it?" Jun Pyo's voice carried hurt and fury as he looked back at Jan Di "What does he have that I don't?"

Ji Hoo had already known that Jan Di had never showed interest in Jun Pyo so rejecting him was inevitable.

Goo Jun Pyo left the Island that same night after his fight with Ji Hoo and Jan Di. Everyone became suspicious of what might have happened.

When they got back to Seoul, Ji Hoo had invited Jan Di out and had a great time, they had kissed and didn't go all the way like in New Caledonia. She met up with him at the staircase. "Stay" he had said to her before going to class

Later as Jan Di sat in the cafeteria, the F3 walked in but Ji Hoo was nowhere to be seen.

"As of today, Yoon Ji Hoo and Geum Jan Di are no longer part of the F4. Before next week, they will be expelled from Shinhwa" Jun Pyo glared coldly at Jan Di and left.

Sunny, Miranda and Ginger had accused her of ruining the F4. "You need to take responsibility." Sunny said "A cheap girl like you should never have come and spilt up our F4. You need to take responsibility."

"I'll take responsibility." Ji Hoo said and he looked really pissed off. "What do I have to do?"

"Sunbae. Please wake up." They said

"Aren't the ones who need to wake up?" the three queens looked shocked at his behavior "Cheap, saying that makes you look cheaper"

"We will never support you" they cried

"Who asked you for your support?"

"You will regret this" they left. Ji Hoo turned to Jan Di who looked down in shame

"Stop making that face." He poked her cheek and smiled at her. She packed up her remaining food and went to the staircase

"Now we are both in trouble" Ji Hoo commented, leaning against the wall "I won't let us be expelled from school."

"Well I can't let you be kicked out of the F4"

"That doesn't mean anything to me, you now matter to me more than that stupid tittle" he watched her face with a grin on his face "That expression again?"

He brushed her hair from her cheek. She felt her eyes close and lean into his touch. "I will take care of you from now on" he pulled her into his chest, stroking her back.

Ji Hoo later escorted Jan Di home. He held her hands in his with a smile on his face. It was dark in the neighborhood so he escorted her to her house. "Here this is yours" he put a new cell phone in her hand. The phone looked expensive and it had a matching case like his. "I bought this from Paris" he confessed

"But Sunbae, I don't need this and it looks expensive"

"It's yours from now on, my number is there. Later you can add other contacts from your old phone" he took a step forward but out of shyness she took a step away but hit the wall

"Sunbae…" Ji Hoo ran his hand on her arms up and down caressing her

"Jan Di-ah, call me by my name. I like the sound of it coming from your mouth. It tastes better" he whispered to her ear, his lips grazing on the shell of the ear. "Come on say it"

"Ji Hoo-ah" she shyly said and not so long, he leaned and gave her a deep wet kiss. The kiss intensified when he wound his tongue around hers. He pressed himself on her, Jan Di could feel it even when he had clothes on him but more so when he unconsciously ground his hips on her several times. They finally broke the kiss to breath

"Jan Di-ah, when this is all over, let's go out and get to know each other"

"Ok, Sun or I mean, Ji Hoo-ah"

He gave her a chaste kiss and bid her goodnight promising to see her the next day

Next morning, she avoided Woo Bin and Yi Jeong who attempted to talk to her about what happened but she later met Jun Pyo's sister in the afternoon

"Hello my name is Goo Jun-Hee, Goo Jun Pyo's sister"

"My name is Geum Jan Di" she bowed but she locked her eyes with the F4 especially Ji Hoo who was sitting alone on the other side of the dining table

Ji Hoo tossed her a wink and his beautiful smile which invited her to sit next to him on the dining table

Everyone watched as he stood up and pulled out a chair for her to sit. She hungrily eyed the food that was on display as she was starving

"Hey, are you hungry" Ji Hoo asked

"Hmm, I haven't eaten anything since morning" her voice was low only for him to hear

"Here" he served her a full plate with a smile and she gladly accepted it.

Jan Di started eating but very little because she didn't know how to use what was in front of her. Everyone looked on when Ji Hoo offered his plate to her and took away hers. he had cut for her the meat, the vegetables.

"Dig in" was all he said

"Gomawo Sunbae" she was now eating at a fast rate. Jun Pyo scoffed during dinner when he watched Ji Hoo offer his food to Jan Di. He attempted to give her his food but she right away declined saying it was enough for her

"Thank You for dinner" she bowed

"So let's go to the next activity" Jun Pyo's sister said

Goo Jun Hee started preaching to his brother and made 'the great Goo Jun Pyo' heel before her words. All the involved parties in a triangle would choose a ball which contained a physical activity. Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo would face each other, 2 out of three wins required to be victorious and the loser would have to accept the winner's conditions.

Everyone accepted the conditions and went on their way. Jan Di and Ji Hoo walked out together holding her hands. Jun Pyo and Yi Jeong didn't like anything at all about the way they were behaving and Woo Bin the understanding guy gave them a smile and bid them goodnight.

"I will give you a ride on my bike" he said and showed her to his bike.

"Gomawo Sunbae" she hoped on and wound her hands around his waist and leaned into him.

"I enjoy having you this close"

The day was finally over. Jun Pyo won the horse race but his poor horse was badly injured for his selfish attitude and behavior

Ji Hoo had taken the loss pretty well. He had invited Jan Di to ride his horse while Jun Pyo looked jealously at them. He had seen Ji Hoo lift Jan Di off his horse and how she shyly smiled at him when he held on her waist and caressed her cheek. They were close, really close that Ji Hoo's body was pressing on Jan Di's. He watched him lean and tilted his head.

Jun Pyo watched Jan Di part her lips and lick them as Ji Hoo kiss her.

The next activity was car race.

Her boss had given her some porridge to take to Ji Hoo, she found him at the race track.

Jan Di finally understood why Ji Hoo avoids cars, she also learnt how he got a license by trying not to be embarrassed in front of Seo Hyun.

"You should stop now." Jan Di said as she looked over at the balcony watching Jun Pyo do his laps

"Why must I stop?" he looked at her

"Is it really worth it? I actually came here by force"

"Aren't you going to give me that?" he smiled at her

"Oh, you want to eat?" she gave him the food and continued talking with her while laughing. He didn't drive that afternoon and went home to prepare for tomorrow.

He didn't have a good night sleep. He kept on having the same dreams about the car accident that killed his parents. When he couldn't take it, he called Jan Di. It was around midnight when he came to her house

"Sunbae what are you doing here so late?"

"I'm scared Jan Di" he embraced her tightly in his chest "Can you please come over and stay with me?"

Jan Di agreed to spend a night at Ji Hoo's home but there was nothing intimate about it, they talked for most of the night and fell asleep pressed against each other.

The day finally came and Ji Hoo finally won the race. Jun Pyo was jealousy of how Jan Di was hugging his best friend for overcoming his fears.

"Hey" Yi Jeong called Woo Bin who was watching Jun Pyo playing his video game with a grin "Even the monkey falls from the tree"

He nodded. "Did you see those two how intimate they were, it's like they have been seeing each other for a while"

"Now the final activity" Jun Pyo's sister opened the ball to find out the next activity

It was swimming

"Ridiculous!" Jun Pyo snatched the paper from his sister tossing it on the floor in rage. "I won't do it" he turned to Jan Di accusing her of setting it up

"If you won't then Ji Hoo will automatically win" his sister informed me

"Yi Jeong chimed in, "I will compete in place of Jun Pyo. I'm not willing to let Ji Hoo to let an easy way out"

Jan Di frowned at him.

"I'm against it"

"Yah, Geum Jan Di, stay out of it"

"Why should I. Even if Ji Hoo Sunbae loses to you, I will never be with you"

"You-" Jun Pyo couldn't believe it "What does he have that I don't?" he asked her

"Unlike you, he's special to me. He has always treated me well; he has never criticized me like you did. So if So Yi Jeong is replacing you, am replacing Ji Hoo"

"Jan Di-ah, if that's what you want, then let's do it" Ji Hoo stood up and placed his hand on her back

"Are you sure about this?" Joon Hee asked her. "He's a guy, and he's strong too"

"This involves me as well; so I won't sit back and watch"

The following day, Ji Hoo and Jan Di to practice for the next activity. He acted as the coach for swimming. That evening Jun Pyo had tried to force himself on Jan Di "Just say you like me and we will stop this" he said

Jan Di pulled away from him

"I'm sorry Goo Jun Pyo but I can never feel the same way"

…

Jan Di and Ji Hoo won and they wouldn't be expelled from the Shinhwa

They took a stroll, relieved over their triumph.

"Jan Di-ah, let's go out tomorrow" he suggested "I want to know you more"

"And I want to know more about you Sunbae" she smiled sweetly at him

Jan Di and Ji Hoo go out on a date to know more about each other and they have another passionate encounter.

Jun Pyo shows up at Jan Di's door for a sleep over, will she allow him.
