Chapter 5.
I enjoyed writing this chapter and i hope you enjoy reading it as well
Jan Di walked out of the swimming pool after she had calmed her anger to find Ji Hoo waiting for her at the door. "S-sunbae" she seemed surprised but smiled at seeing him and he smiled back "Jan Di…last night I didn't quite get you, is this the reason why you are here?"
Ji Hoo had learned that every time Jan Di was feeling down, she would come to the pool to calm down and find some inner peace for her to start thinking clearly. They walked out of the swimming area to their special spot. There was a moment of silence between them. "You said he showed up for sleepover?"
Last night…
Jan Di went to her bed after her mother had prepared a bed to allow Goo Jun Pyo to stay at their house. She couldn't chase him so she rushed off to her room and locked the door to stop her mother from calling to share a bed.
Ji Hoo: Are you still awake?
Jan Di-ah: Yes…Goo Jun Pyo is here at my house and he wants to sleep here
Ji Hoo's heart beat faster, he knew Goo Jun Pyo would try to force his way into Jan Di's life but he didn't expect it soon
Ji Hoo: Why? Is he bothering you?
Jan Di-ah: No, I locked the door so no one is bothering me. For now I am safe.
Jan Di-ah: My dad and mom opened the big room and organized it so we could share it
Ji Hoo smiled. He pictured the scenario in his head, seeing Jan Di having a fight with his best friend
Jan Di-ah: I will tell you everything tomorrow. Sweet dreams Sunbae
Ji Hoo: You two sweetheart, I will see you tomorrow.
Ji Hoo now was extremely jealous, he wanted to go there but he needed to trust Jan Di. Even though he knew it wasn't official yet, he was sure they had a future together. He could feel it in his veins down to his muscles, he was so happy that had even gone all the way and made love two times.
Present…
"Do you know what makes me even more furious?" she started pacing again "He called my parents 'Father', 'Mother'. I got so angry and then today in the morning he dares to say that he was following us on our date and he even said that every man wants one thing from a woman and that is sex, is it true?" she stared at him
"Jan Di, a few words from him and you trust him? Don't you trust your heart and me? What about me, Jan Di-ah?" he sounded hurt and jealous
"Sunbae…" she touched his arm "Well I do trust you," she said sincerely
"Why are you questioning whatever is going on between us then? Do you think I could take advantage of you after all we've been through? We've been together for over a month now, are you questioning my heart?"
"…that's not what I meant" she sighed and turned away from him "Why me? You could have any girl that you want as for me, I have nothing to offer you" Ji Hoo tugged on the sleeves of her sweater "Jan Di-ah, look at me" he said tenderly.
Jan Di turned slowly to him, she had tears in the corner of her eyes. She never expected she would argue with him because of Jun Pyo. Ji Hoo being a gentleman, wiped away the tears and kissed her eyelids, then to both her cheeks. "Jan Di, I already have the girl I want and you are that girl. You have everything I need, nothing matters"
"Really…?"
"Really" he didn't hesitate and it made her cry harder this time. "So why are you crying?" he asked wiping her tears away. "I'm just happy that you chose me to be with you yet there are many who are better than me"
Ji Hoo couldn't help but smile at her silliness "Silly girl" he affectionately said to her and held her in his arms. He was at the edge since last night but he hoped she could have confidence in him, in what they have. He tightened his arms around her body. "we should go out to celebrate since we have been together for a month"
She nodded and buried her face in his chest.
"How about a picnic this weekend?" she asked and continued to lean into his gentle yet strong arms. "Okay" he replied and placed his hips on her hair
It was a Sunday, Jan Di promised her boyfriend that she would cook what they would have for the day. He came to pick her up in his car and also paid his respects to her parents. He had presented gifts to her parent; her mother was given an expensive handbag filled with perfume, Body lotion, and hand lotion and a fruit basket, her brother was given an iPad of the latest brand and lastly, her father was given a bottle of expensive red wine. "Father, mother, I will look after, Geum Jan Di and protect her with everything I have" he had said to them before he held Jan Di's hands to go out. Her parents and brother had thanked him and did a happy dance the moment they walked out of the house.
They arrived at the dock, Ji Hoo had rented out a boat for them to enjoy the day by themselves. He held the basket and helped Jan Di on the boat. The water was calm for sailing by the river. They laid the blanket down and sat down together, and Jan Di began to unpack what she had prepared.
Ji Hoo was so impressed after seeing many dishes being unpacked, and a smile crossed his face.
"Jan Di-ah, I will need to go back to the gym to work out" Ji Hoo commented seeing the last dish being pulled out of the basket.
She nodded. Jan Di's special picnic basket consisted of rolled omelets, fried sausages, 2 vegetable Sandwiches, chicken dumplings, Potato salads, samgak Kimpap, broccoli chips with fruit juice.
"Wow, this is amazing and a full balanced diet, Jan Di-ah" Ji Hoo praised the food instead of eating it.
Jan Di blushed as he praised the food she had prepared for them. She chuckled and Ji Hoo continued to observe the food. "Sunbae, you can't just look at it! you have to eat since it's the main point!" she chastised
Ji Hoo laughed "Yes, of course, sweetheart"
"Try it," she handed him a pair of chopsticks.
Ji Hoo smiled and took a bite, chewing thoroughly. Jan Di examined his face. "How is it? Do you like it?"
"No" he saw Jan Di frowning and leaned to place a kiss on her cheek "I love it"
"Really sunbae?" she asked with a pout that was already forming
"Really…let's eat and stop calling me that since we aren't in public"
"Oh, okay Ji Hoo-ah" she got her chopsticks to also start eating but Ji Hoo held out a bite for her
"Are you really going to feed me, Ji Hoo?"
Ji Hoo revealed his smile. She took a bite and smiled at him "So is it delicious?"
"Yes, it is"
Jan Di and Ji Hoo shared the food, fed each other, and talked. After they finished, Ji Hoo laid down looking up feeling the warmth of the spring sun. He closed his eyes
Jan Di admired him, her lips curved into a small smile. Jan Di watched his chest softly rising and falling.
"Ji Hoo-ah…," she whispered, wondering if indeed he had fallen asleep. She waved her hands in his face. "You know what Sunbae, you are so beautiful" she sighed tenderly and leaned to press a kiss on his lips. She pulled back but his hands softly pressed in her back and he deepened the kiss.
"You are more beautiful" his voice was husky
"Ji Hoo…," she uttered and smiled down at him
He was staring at her as if he had something to say but instead, he held gently held her head and rested it on his chest. Jan Di continued to smile and her cheeks grew rosy. She considered telling him that they could head home since they have been out for about 2hours but she found herself comfortable
"Jan Di' did you know that you are entirely too comfortable and warmer than the bed I sleep in" and he began to gently stroke her hair, she was completely at his mercy.
Jan Di looked up to find his eyes half-closed and a sweet smile on his face. She snuggled closer and rested her head on his chest again, she wound her arms around his waist and closed her eyes. And before she realized it, Ji Hoo was gently nudging her awake.
She'd drifted off against him, out on the boat. She bolted upright and found herself in a cozy bed. "Where are we?" she organized her messy hair and took in her environment. She was in a cozy room.
"We're still on the boat and I want to show you something" he helped her out of the bed to go outside. "Wow!" she ran to see the beautiful scenery of the Han River; she was watching the multi-colored fountains. Jan Di had this look of wonderment on her face, Ji Hoo continued to observe her and it brought a smile to his face. He came closer and wrapped his arms around her and they watched the beautiful scenery together
"Do you like it?"
"Yes, it very nice and beautiful Ji Hoo-ah"
…
Ji Hoo had planned a romantic candlelight dinner on the boat. The moment he had seen her sleep on his chest, he gently carried her to the room that was the boat, he asked the workers to organize dinner and leave them at the dock. Ji Hoo led her to the table that was set up for their dinner. "Did you do this?" she asked as she took the seat that Ji Hoo had pulled out for her
"I had help. I asked for help to set this up so we could enjoy this special night together" he confessed to her
"Gomawo sunbae…"
Food was served. It was American food that never in her wildest dream would she ever afford. They were served; Grilled fish with fried rice and mashed potatoes, creamy mushroom sauce along with cocktail juice. She gushed at the food and shoved it in her mouth. Ji Hoo watched tenderly as she enjoyed the food with her trademark smile. He had enjoyed her habits especially eating, she wouldn't hold back and that's one of the things he loved about her.
Geum Jan Di being Geum Jan Di
After they finished, the plates were taken away and a were served champagne that was in the bucket of ice at the table. Ji Hoo held his glass up to make a toast and she followed and also raised her glass. "Jan Di-ah, this has been a month full of ups and downs, so I want to make a toast to this month that we have been together and many more months to come, I want you to know that you are a special person in my heart and I have completely fallen in love with you" he sighed heavily "Ever since I met you, you've made me a real man, a better man who no longer hides away from the world. I love you Geum Jan Di"
He finally said it, he really loves me. So why go and beat around the bush
"And I want to say something to you" she smiled at him "I know that I'm not the perfect girl in the world but with you around, I feel perfect. I don't wish to be a perfect girl for you but I will do everything in my power to keep you smiling. For all the days and years, you've cried alone, I want to be there for you and hold you up when you fall, to make you laugh and replace that pain in your heart with happiness and laughter. So a toast to this new beginning"
Ji Hoo couldn't hold it and smiled beautifully at her as they drank their champagne. He brought his hand closer to hers and interlaced their fingers. He recalled something and pulled back to her disappointment. She groaned and he smiled at her and pulled out a velvet box "Here this is for you" he urged her to take it
She nodded and also pulled out a box, even though it wasn't expensive like his, she had saved a lot to get it for him.
"Let's open them at once" she suggested and he grinned at her and got the box
She opened hers, it was a diamond wrist bracelet, Korean sky blue style necklace, and also an anklet. The bracelet had characters JD and JH and the anklet had had music notes on it. "This is so beautiful sunbae". Ji Hoo hadn't said anything so she wondered if he didn't like her gift.
He raised the box to her showing her the Jade pendant she had got him. She blushed a little bit and explained
2weeks ago
Jan Di was working downtown and accidentally, she ran across a Chinese craftsman shop making pendants. So she stopped by to look in there and the man who appeared was old enough to be her grandfather "What can I do for you?" the man asked in the Korean language.
"Do you think I can order something from you?" she asked hesitantly and blushed "You see; I would like to give a special someone a gift that is extra ordinally"
"Is it a man or a woman?" he asked raising his brow at her
"It's a man" she blushed lightly
"What characters do you want?" he asked she went ahead to explain that she wanted a dragon on the side and writing on the other side
"Good choice young lady, the man that is with you very lucky"
Present…
"So how much did you pay for it because this is real jade that is hard to find especially in Korea" he examined it and later he found a sash in the box too, it was embraided well and there were music notes on it "Did you make this?" he asked
"Yes, that old man taught me how to embroider so I did this" she continued blushing "So…um…do you like it?"
"It's lovely, thank you Jan Di-ah" he stood up and walked to the side of the table "Thank you, never in million years would have ever received a gift like this"
He held her face gently in his hands and leaned down to kiss her. The kiss started simple and sweet and later intensified as he carried her off in bridal style to the room. He set her gently on the bed, he helped her out with her zipper of the dress and she went to unbutton his shirt and hesitated on his pants. He helped her take off her dress and only remained in her bra and underwear.
They were breathing hard, looking at each other's bodies without any shame or fear, only love and desire for each other. Jan Di's hand went to touch his chest, and he lay down on his back, asking her to do what she wanted.
Jan Di explored, kissed, and tasted. He could feel how shy she was but her confidence built up when he gave a low moan in her mouth after she had grasped on his hardness. It was hot and hard, he furiously thrust in her hands and when he could take no more, he turned the tables and she lay there completely at his mercy. He quickly discarded off his boxers and helped her remove her underwear and soon, they found themselves connected. He entered her and slowly started moving.
Ji Hoo was gently giving deep thrust. He took one of her knees and opened her more to him and he took his precious time feeling her wetness as he moved. The joy they had discovered after their first time of being together was more than enough. His damp skin rubbing against hers, his lips searching hers, their tongues locked in a fierce battle, his husky voice calling her name made her feel how he adored her; she felt like a woman, his only woman
Together they reached a sensual compass; his hands never stopped caressing and massaging her. She could feel the hot fluid tickling her inside and she arched her back and trapped him in her walls breathing hard, they came back from that and smiled at each other with great satisfaction.
"Let's use the bathroom and get some rest" he suggested with a great effort of pulling out of her warmth, his comfort zone he had come to love.
She nodded and he carried her to the bathroom. Who knew that there would be another encounter there as they both bathed themselves.
…
"Ji Hoo-ah, why are you smiling to yourself?" Woo Bin smirked and got closer to him and Yi Jeong joined when they saw him blushing
"It's nothing," he said
"Hey, where did you find this jade pendant and the sash, did Geum Jan Di give you this?" it caught Goo Jun Pyo's attention. He stopped playing and waited for his answer "Yes, she gave it to me"
"How much money did she use because this isn't easy to find her in our country" Woo Bin observed the pendant "Wow, you're so lucky"
"Are you and Jan Di going out?" Yi Jeong asked
"Yes, she and I have been together for a month now" he replied to them. Ever since he returned from Paris, he had his eyes on her and nobody else existed in his eyes
Flashback…
After Ji Hoo made his entrance saying he objected to Jan Di and Goo Jun Pyo being together, Jan Di's heart beat faster and heard a voice calling her 'stairwell' it said three times and her heart led her there. She sighed thinking and leaned against the balcony.
"You're not shouting anymore these days…"
Jan Di spun around to see Ji Hoo leaning against the wall with folded hands.
"Sunbae?" she instinctively smiled and felt relief when he smiled back and approached her. He was in a decent mood. Ji Hoo joined her at the balcony and leaned forward against it. He glanced over at her
"Why are you here?" was the only question she could manage to ask
Ji Hoo pursed his lips before answering "My heart led me back here"
Jan Di nodded and glanced down and didn't notice her not looking expensive white handkerchief had fallen down.
"Is it true you're going out with him?" he continued glancing over the balcony and when she didn't reply, he turned to face her. She was looking down. He raised his hand to her arm to get her attention
"Yes, but…um…" forget it. she pulled away from him and was leaving but stopped when he spoke again.
"I used my heart to call you here and if you didn't show up, I would have known that you and I are destined to be apart. But seeing you here made me want to push my luck with you" he didn't know why he was speaking so freely but something about her made him come out of his shell.
She didn't reply and walked away with embarrassment.
Present…
Jan Di was in her class admiring the necklace that was clasped around her neck. She remembered how Ji Hoo had asked her not to take it off. She smiled at the memory and then the trios wanted to cause her problems. They started by insulting her oh how she had broken the F4 apart and then it was Sunny who saw the necklace
"Where did you get this necklace?"
"It's none of your business" she pushed past them and went out of class and then everything went dark
…
Jan Di awoke several hours later. Her hospital room was filled with her favorite peach flowers and teddy bear. Ji Hoo was on her side holding her hand. She blinked a few times and focused on him
"Ji Hoo sunbae, what happened to me? Why am I in the hospital?"
Ji Hoo looked down at her and smiled
"You called me"
Ji Hoo and Jan Di began communicating using their hearts the moment he returned from Paris.
