To say that this day has sucked would be a massive understatement for the day.

As at this minute Maya was finding herself a place in which to hide away from her team and basically the world for the next hour or so, why can't she just have at least ten minutes today that's all she wants. But it was just one thing after another.

First it was the fire which took hours to fight and that was the easy bit the hard bit was when every single person seemed to question ever single word that she said, even when they were given as an order. Which then meant there kept being delayed, which had resulted in Roberts getting injured; she was struggling not to feel like it was all her fault; which it probably was as she is the captain. Which had therefore caused the rest of her day to go as it has, as they have been camped out in this hospital since they brought Roberts in.

And since, there has seemed to be an all-out war between the firefighters over what happened and whose fault it was, which had nearly resulted in more fire fighters being injured. Thank God for doctor Sheppard, it had given her the excuse to get some of her fire fighters away from one another for five minutes.

But that had led to her third and maybe her fourth problem, which was the problem at the minute. Shepard had inadvertently or not flirted with her, which seemed to get to her girlfriend. She's going to have to check on that when she gets home just to check that they are in fact ok like Teddy said. But that wasn't her problem at the minute, no her problem at the minute was that somehow all of the fire department has somehow learnt that she seemed to be a Doctor magnet.

And that was without knowing that she had a girlfriend and said girlfriend was also a doctor in the same hospital that they were in right now.

No, they were just talking about Sheppard, Altman and some intern that she doesn't know the name of but also, she doesn't give a dame what their name is, as they had resulted in the teasing to start.

As such right now, half of the fire fighters were still fighting each and the other half now teasing her, she left them there, there's enough other people to try and keep them in line for an hour or so; otherwise, she might just kill one of them or all of them.

But she had a feeling that Doctor Bailey wouldn't like the mess or the paperwork that would make for her. Therefore she that only left her with running away to some unknow part of the hospital with a lot of different doctors giving her funny looks as they walked by. Had they never seen a fire fighter walking around the hospital before, it cannot be that much of a funny sight.

Looking around she realised now where she was start to head towards, and of course she had started to head on instinct to carina's office, it must be her go to place now in this hospital, having spent quite a lot of time there.

"Hey are you lost? Fire fighters aren't normally this far into the hospital and most people aren't really meant to be in this corridor unless there going somewhere and then their doctors" an unknown voice from behind her said.

Turning around to look at the unknown person: he was a man really of about average height for a man, curly dark hair which looks like it's started to grown out abit, his smiles seem kind but at the same times there seems to be something behind his eyes while looking at her. He seems familiar; why does he seem so familiar to her. She's probably just met him before when she was dropping of a patient at the hospital.

"No, its fine I know where im going. I'll go back to reception when Im done". She said as she was starting to get nearer to her girlfriend's office.

"No, I really am going to have to ask where you are going or ask you to head back to reception as your not meant to be in this area of the hospital". Came the annoyed reply of the doctor at least she thinks he a doctor, he's definitely acting like a doctor.

"Look doctor I know where Im going, this is the route I always take so I am fine" really not wanting to explain to this random doctor that she just wanted to be away from the other fire fighters and just ended up walking to her girlfriend office, especially when she's not likely to be in the office that's she walking too.

"No im going to have to insist, unless you have someone here or need one of the OB/GYN then I am going to have to ask you to leave. Your still in some of your gear which wouldn't be safe for the pregnant patients, or the new borns so I am going to have to ask you again what are you doing?" the doctor was definitely getting exasperated. Normally people just say sorry and follow him to where they are meant to be.

But this individual did really not want to listen to what he had to say; he could see it in her eyes she was going to keep fighting him on probably everything that he had to say to her; maybe he should just called somebody to back him up already.

"Come on lets gets get you back to the reception where I think all of the other fire fighters are at the minute" he said as he went to put his hand on her back trying to get her to start moving to where he thinks she's meant to be.

But as soon a Maya felt his hand touched her back she flinched about ten paces away from him, "WHAT THE HELL, don't touch me. And definitely don't treat me like a child I know what Im doing, I know where the hell im going, I've taken this route enough times to know where im going. And don't worry about the patients im not going anywhere near them ok. Can I go now or do you want to harass me some more?" ok now her day had gotten worse than it already was this walk was meant to help her mood not make it worse than it already was.

At this rate she was going to be in an even worse mood than she was before she went for a walk.

"Doctor Deluca: I've been waiting for those test results that I sent you for, and I come out here to see you just chatting with captain Bishop here; good to see that our patients are more important than your social life" why did doctor Bailey have an unbelievable ability to walk in on her in the most inopportune times.

WAIT DID SHE JUST SAY DOCTOR DELUCA.

"YOUR MAYA?!" "YOUR ANDREA?!"

They both exclaimed at exactly the same time, with them now both realising who it is that the other had been arguing with and both realising that this could go bad for him and her, very easily.

"WAIT; you're the woman that's gotten my sister so besotted with her?" how is it that it had been months now that his sister had been dating this woman and he was only just meeting her? And in the most random of ways of meting people as well.

Ignoring him for the second, Maya pulled out her phone instead and texted her girlfriend before she replied to the man in front of her.

'Hey babe

just met your brother well got treated like a child by your brother so just a warning you might hear about it x'

Putting away her phone again and looking Andrea in the eye before replying:

"Yes, that would be me Im Captain Maya Bishop and I guess that would make your Andrea. Carina's brother" replied Maya as what the hell else was she meant to say to him, this was not the first impression that she wanted to make with her girlfriend's brother, the only family that truly mattered to the other woman. Well, she's got to live with this now, no going back now.

"Its Andrew, only Carina calls me Andrea". Why couldn't his sister get that he preferred to be called Andrew, he's not gone by that name in over two decades. He thought as he started to look this woman up and down.

THIS IS THE WOMAN THAT HES HEARD ABOUT FOR THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS.

Well, she seems to be just as stubborn as his sister, taking her in: short in height definitely smaller than his sister, blonde mostly likely from a bottle, bluey, green eyes just like Carina had told him about all of those times. God his sister had a type.

The only thing that seemed different about her was strength. From the looks of her and her job she must be well built even if she looks like she tinny she must be able to lift a significant amount. But he cant see anything that is that special about her, or at least enough to qualify the amount of ear ache that he had gotten from listening about this woman. He should probably say something instead of just staring at her, he really doesn't want to give this woman or this sister the wrong idea. God the last thing he wanted was for this sister to be pissed off because she thinks he was leering at her girlfriend.

"You do not look like Carina" stated Maya as like him she had spent the last several minutes just looking at the person in which was in front of her. And for the life of her she could not see any family resemble between the two DeLucas.

Their faces were completely different there was nothing there that was the same but maybe it was the beard that made him look so different, also he sounded so different from Carina she knew he had grown up here but she still expected that he would have some lilt to his voice.

They did have roughly the same hair colour but his was curly unlike Carina perfectly straight hair. And they had similar colour eyes except his was a few shades lighter than her girlfriend's. height was probably the most similar thing about the siblings.

"You mean with my curly hair and beard you don't see the resemblance? And you seem exactly like Carina described you as" it was always the thing that everyone picked up on besides the accents.

"Doctor DeLuca, now that we have established who everyone is. Do you think it might be possible for you to do your job today?" sighed Bailey as much as she enjoyed drama. (not that she would ever tell anybody that) they needed to get this patient seen to today. And for that she needed those test results.

"Im sorry Doctor Bailey, I'll get right on it now". He quickly replied remembering now that they were in the middle of a hospital corridor and that he was berating his sister's girlfriend about her wandering.

"Sorry about before, but you really shouldn't be randomly wandering the halls" he said quickly before he started back off to wherever it was that he was going in the first place.

"I wasn't randomly wandering, oh what ever he cant even hear me" as she was now just talking back to the corridor as he had already turned the corner. Looking at the other woman in the hall, why did she always have that knowing look upon her face?

"Good afternoon Doctor Bailey, sorry about hijacking your doctor". She had learnt as soon as she had met the other woman to never undermine or prejudge the woman.

"You and DeLuca's, at least this time everyone had their clothes on, I take it that you only just met Andrew?" How does she do that? how does she know everything thing even when there is no logical explanation as to why she would know that information.

"Yeah, for one reason or another we just haven't met yet, so Carina should find this funny". Stated Maya as Doctor Bailey's pager went off. Checking the pager to see that there was a problem.

"You're coming with me, it looks like there a problem in reception and knowing the day that the two of us are having it probably has something to do with all of the fire fighters that are down there". Turning around as she finished just expecting the other woman to follow like everyone else in this hospital did.

Thinking whether to fight this or not, she thought better of it and just started to follow the doctor
