CONGRATULATIONS Jason00! Yay! Didn't know you were behind. Still, glad you are! For me, life has been absolutely crazy this past month so I haven't been able to write as much as I had hoped! It usually takes me a week to two to write a story. The last one I finished the other day (which thankfully is in the next season, so don't worry! No delays in posting!) took me almost a month to write! Thankfully, life is getting a bit less hectic, so I'll be back writing more than one chapter every week or so!

TRIVIA: In reference to what is happening this day, who do you think Kerri and Walt are?

BONUS: What day is it? (National holiday. It's known to all Deaf people and Deanne posts something every time it comes around.)

?-?

"Walt, Walt! You missed the turn!" Kerri complained as they drove.

"You do know this is the first time we've been here. I can't know where I haven't been!" He replied.

"But it's simple; look at the map!" She replied.

He chuckled. "Easy for you to say. You're not driving."

She pursed her lips, thinking. "You're right. That is hard."

"How about you tell me where I am going?" He asked, not knowing where he was going anymore.

She nodded in reply. "Good idea. We don't want to be late!"

?-?

"Mom! Dad!" Mya exclaimed as she opened the door. "You're here already!"

"Of course! We told you we'd be here on the 15th!" Lillian replied, barging into Mya and Maddy's apartment and inspecting it.

"I just didn't know it would be so early." She replied, picking up some things off the couch and table.

"Early bird gets the worm." She replied, walking into the kitchen.

"You know your Mother." James replied, smiling at his daughter. "Hi, honey." He said, then took her in for a hug. "Where's your sister?"

"Uh, at work. She works in the morning." Mya distractedly replied. It was the first time she saw her parents since the outburst the year before and she wasn't exactly prepared for it yet.

"So? When will be get to meet this Josh that you're so intent on marrying?" Lillian asked, coming around back to the living room.

"Later, I guess. He's working right now. He gets tomorrow off, though. We all do. Well, Sue, Jack, me, Josh." She rambled.

"Yes, it should be an interesting two weeks." She replied.

"Yes, it shall." Mya said, sighing.

?-?

Sue smiled as she got ready to leave with her Mom for the dress fitting. "You know, today's the perfect day for this."

"Yes, it is." Carla replied, smiling as well as she grabbed a sweater and keys.

"You do know what today is, right?"

She nodded. "Yes, I do, honey. One of your favorite days."

Sue smiled and nodded as they walked through the door, to the car.

"Is Mya coming with? I know she said she wanted to." Carla asked when they got into the car.

Sue shook her head. "No, unfortunately. She said her parents were coming in today, so she didn't want to ruin the specialness of the dress fitting with the stress of parents. She and Maddy went yesterday." She explained as her Mom started the car, backing up out of the driveway.

"Oh well. But it's just fine with me. Some alone time with my almost-married daughter will be great with me!"

Sue smiled and nodded. "ME-TOO." She replied. "And maybe you'll find the perfect wedding dress, since you can't wear this one again." She replied, lifting the box on her lap that held her Mom's dress.

"MAYBE." She replied, signing since they were at a stoplight.

Sue smiled, excited to see what the morning had in store for them.

?-?

"Wow, this is amazing." Hailey said, smiling as they walked outside into the backyard, Barky running out ahead of them to do his business. "And you built that just for her?" She asked, pointing to the gazebo.

Jack nodded. "And that is where we're getting married." He replied.

"So sweet!" She replied, smiling widely. "You two have the most amazing love story."

He embarrassedly laughed, looking down at the ground.

"Apart from our parents, of course." She added, looking at them.

"Of course." Jack replied.

"No, I think you two have us beat." Connie replied, looking at Jack.

He laughed and shook his head. "No, I don't think so."

"I do!" Connie exclaimed. "The two of you in love with each other for so long and not saying a peep, then finally you admitted your feelings and the rest is history!"

"There's a way to put it!" He replied, laughing.

"I'm hungry." Emily said, interrupting everyone, which resulted in the adults laughing.

"It's nearly 12. We should eat." Jack said, looking at his phone.

"I'm up for that!" Bob excitedly replied.

"And I know what Carla would say to that!" Jack replied, laughing.

"Yes. But she's not here, so let's stuff ourselves with all the food we we can find!" He replied, laughing along with everyone else.
