TRIVIA: The Sue Crew played a bit of a similar game one time (not to Sue's liking, though). My version is different and more elaborate [actually something I'd love to do!], but the base is close to the same. What episode/game was this? Correct answer gets the first chapter of part 2!

?-?

Everyone had fun at the party, dancing, eating, chatting, just having fun in general, celebrating the two happy couples. Soon, it was time for speeches.

"Why do I have to go first?" Mya complained as she was gently pushed onto the empty dance floor with a mic by her sister.

"Because you're getting married first. Sue's going next, don't worry." Maddy replied.

She sighed, staring at all the people, the breath from the sigh making a noise in the mic. " Two years ago, I was still daydreaming about my dream man. I hadn't met him yet, and I was open to whatever possibility God had in store for me. Then I met Josh." She started, smiling widely at her fiancé. "I was pretty sure he wasn't going to be drop-dead gorgeous, but I told God I sure didn't mind slightly handsome, which apparently he listened!" Everyone laughed. "Nonetheless, I am so happy to be here. I have some amazing friends and family who are here, who helped set up this party, and I honestly can't wait for next Saturday!" She said, then walked over to Sue, handing her the mic.

In turn, Sue walked onto the dance floor. "Wow. What do I say?" She hypothetically asked as she looked around. "I've known Jack for almost 20 years, loving him for almost that same amount of time, admittedly. It just took him coming into my classroom in Ohio to see that he felt the same too, despite all my attempts my brain made to deny the signs. Maybe this wedding's a few decades late, maybe it's God's perfect timing, I don't know. All I know is I love Jack, and I want to spend every moment of the rest of my life with him."

Mya smiled as she came back on the floor with Sue, this time holding two shoeboxes. "OK." She said as she took the mic from her friend. "As most of you know, Sue and I have been planning a bit of a wedding mystery." She started, pausing to see everyone's nodding reaction. "Before the actual wedding, we thought we'd give you the instructions so you'd know what will be taking place."

"Everyone will pick a sheet of from this box." Sue explained, pointing to the box in Mya's hands. "The sheet will have your character's name, along with some background info on your character. This will be your character for the course of both weddings, you cannot change characters."

"One person's character will be an FBI agent, another the criminal and the rest will just be innocent bystanders. To win this little mystery game, everyone's allowed to ask one question to each person, who in turn will answer the question from their character's sheet." Mya described.

"But," Sue warned. "You cannot ask specifics, such as 'am I the FBI agent' or 'are you the criminal'. It has to be a bit more generalized, such as 'did your character see me at the scene of the crime?'"

"If you think you figured out who you are, who the FBI agent is and who the criminal is, find either of us." Mya said. "We will let you know if you are correct or not."

"But be sure on your answers!" Sue added. "If you're wrong, you're disqualified from the game, not able to participate anymore."

"So is everyone ready to see who their characters are?" Mya excitedly asked. Everyone cheered in response. "Alright! Come pick your names!" She said, Sue holding the women's box and Mya the men's, both opening the box just enough to let a hand through. Everyone formed two lines, taking their names out of the box one at a time.

The two brides looked at each other and smiled. This was going better than expected. It would surely make for an amazing wedding!

Soon, everyone had received their names and were back to their places.

"Oh, and I forgot one more thing." Sue said as she walked over to Jack, kissing him. Everyone wooted their approval. Slightly embarrassed, they looked around at their family and friends, then back at each other.

"How about we imagine no one's here?" Jack suggested.

She smiled in reply. "That sounds like an amazing idea." She said, then kissed him again.

Mya smiled, liking the idea. She too went to her groom to do the exact same thing.

Sue happily smiled as she wrapped the blanket around her tighter as she sat on a nearby bench. It was 9:00 and the party was over, mostly because the sun went down, freezing everyone out. All the same, it was an amazing party. Now, they were cleaning up.

"Did I tell you how amazing you look today?" Jack asked as he walked up to Sue.

"No, actually." She replied.

"Well, you do." He replied, smiling widely.

"What, in a big fuzzy blanket?" She asked, moving her hands under the blanket to show what she was referencing.

"Well, it's a bit of a unique look, but yes, that too." He replied, chuckling.

"You look handsome too." She replied, smiling as well.

"I can't wait for two weeks from now."

"ME-TOO." She replied. "But first we have the bachelor and bachelorette parties and Mya's wedding before then!"

"Boy, we have a busy two weeks, don't we?" He replied, thinking of all the things that was on their calendar.

Sue nodded. "But a very fun two weeks!"

"Yes, very fun!" He replied, then paused. "Any chance you have some room under that blanket?"

Sue laughed as she opened it to let him in. "For you? Always."

"THANK YOU." He signed, then cuddled in next to her, watching everyone clean up. "Do you think we should go help them?"

"Maybe later." She replied. "I'm too comfortable here."

"You're right. Later." He said as he cuddled in next to her. It was a perfect wedding shower with all their closest friends and family. And now it was a perfect after-party, cuddling up with the love of his life.

THE END

I hope you enjoyed reading the first part! I absolutely loved writing it. In fact, I wrote this entire story in just about a day! Sure, it was a bit short, but it was so magically romantic, I couldn't stop! Can't wait for you to read part 2!
