"I want you to find him and bring him in right away" said Gru. "Yes, sir" said Lucy. At Gru's house, Kyle was scampering out the yard, snuffling and snorting. Lucy driving slowly in her car, mumbling to herself. "I hardly liked that fat guy's age. But who am I kiddin'? I'm 35 years old for cryin' loud!". Lucy pulled up outside Gru's house for as she was that intelligent to figure it out who it belonged to. "KYLE! NO!" she heard Gru yell, "Do not do your business on the petunias!". Gru picked up Kyle and placed him in Mr. McDade's flowerbed instead. "There you go. Those are Fred's, go crazy" he said. Kyle peed on the flowers until they died out. "Hehehehe! Good boy" snickered Gru. ''Mr Gru?'' said Lucy, coming up behind him, having seen everything.
"AAH! I didn't... What? Yes?" gasped Gru turning around and seeing the tall ginger haired woman. ''Hi, Agent Lucy Wilde of the AVL'' said Lucy, introducing herself and holding up her name badge, ''I'm sorry'' she said, looking serious, ''You're gonna have to come with me''. "Oh, sorry, I... FREEZE RAY!" yelled Gru, firing his Freeze Ray at Lucy. Lucy had a weapon of her own called a Flamethrower for blasting fire and used to melt the ice before it could touch her. Gru was stunned, but he ignorantly thought that his Freeze-Ray was broken. But it wasn't broken.
He didn't know that Lucy was too fast for him. "Ya know, you really should announce your weapons after you fire 'em, Mr. Gru. For example..." she pulled out what looked like a normal lipstick and electrocuted Gru with it making him dance like mad. ''Lipstick Taser!'' said Lucy, triumphantly. THUD! Gru fell over, unconscious. "Oh, it works so good. If only the girls could see me now" said Lucy, happily. She dragged Gru only to find he weighed a ton, she grunted and strained to lift him into the boot of her car boot and finally close it on him. It took all of her strength ''Get in there, you big man!'' she growled. Lucy got into the driver's seat and started to drive away, taking Gru with her.
Two of Gru's minions, who are both taking out the trash, were witnessing their boss being loaded in the woman's car. "BOSS! BOSS!" cried one minion. "GAH!" cried the other minion. They raced down front yard as Lucy climbed in behind the steering wheel. They leaped with all their might just as the car pulled away. The first Minion managed to grab the rear bumper and was able to climb on board. But the second Minion was following behind. The first minion reached his hand out urging in minionese. The second minion ran as fast as he could. And at last, he jumped and his friend caught him by the overall straps. Then car began weaving in and out of the traffic. The second Minion skied behind the car as sparks flew from his shoes.
He ran into a clothesline and got caught in the sheet, which turned into a sail and caused him to float! Suddenly, a flock of ducks came flying into him! They all squawked loudly. Lucy spotted the commotion in her side mirror and stomped on the brakes with the sound of tyres screeching. Both Minions flew through the air. Seeing this, Lucy quickly opened the convertible top of the car, causing the Minions to land right in the passenger's seat. Both minions exclaimed aggressively and striked threatening karate poses at Lucy. "Hi-YA!" they grunted. Lucy zapped them with her Lipstick Taser, and they quickly passed out. Lucy continued driving until she reached a pier. But she doesn't stop! Lucy began to beat the horn at people to get out of the way.
Everyone cried out and jumped out of the way. This made the people cross. "HEY!" roared an angry man, shaking his fist at Lucy, "Watch where you're goin'!". "Hey, lady! Slow down! I'm walking here!" shouted another man. "Eeek! Well, I never!" exclaimed one woman. "How rude!" yelled another woman. Lucy drove right off at the end of the pier and landed in the ocean with a mighty SPLASH! The car transformed into a underwater vehicle as it submerged. Not long after, the Minions wake up. The vehicle sped through the water when suddenly a great white shark came right for them! She expertly steered out of the way just in time. Finally, they arrived at a giant submarine with the letters AVL on the side. A hatch opened and Lucy's vehicle went inside.
Inside the sub, the water drained out from a holding dock. A hair dryer and buffer appeared to dry off Lucy's car. The car was then lowered into a room filled with blinking lights and monitors where busy AVL agents worked in the background. As Lucy and the minions got out of the car, she pushed a button on her keychain, and Gru was ejected from the boot. ''What…where…ah…foot's asleep…ah…pins and needles…,'' Gru said groggily. He realised he had a starfish on his head and a sea urchin stuck to his trousers and pried them both off. He looked around and had no idea where he was. ''Good afternoon, Mr Gru'' said Silas, ''I apologise for our method of getting you here''. Before Gru could answer, Lucy piped up. ''I don't. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I ain't gonna lie. I enjoyed that, every second of it. Gave me a bit of buzz, actually. It's like….''.
''That's enough, Agent Wilde,'' interrupted Silas. ''Sorry, sir'' said Lucy, walking back a little. ''This is bogus!'' declared Gru, ''I don't know who you people think you are, but…''. ''We are the Anti-Villian-League'' explained Silas. He summoned a map that shows all the AVL offices around the world. ''It's an ultra-secret organisation dedicated to fighting crime on a global scale. Rob a bank? We're not interested. Kill someone? Not our deal. But you want to melt the polar ice caps? Or vaporise Mount Fuji? Or even steal the moon? Then we notice''.
