Devoted Me 2 Chapter 6
A grey donkey with brown eyes and a black mane and no specific name came out after him. Despite his annoying traits, flightiness and occasional cowardliness, Donkey was a good-natured, golden-hearted, sweet, and euphoric animal. He was a deeply caring and loyal friend who would stick by his best friends side and be supportive of them through thick and thin, especially Shrek. Also an orange-furred, ginger cat in a hat and boots appeared, too. "Aye! This is not first class" said Puss for that's what everyone called him as he too had no specific name. Except for the full name, Puss In Boots. And last and not least, a humongous bull with a big heart walked out clumsily from the damaged crate, shaking his head to get the top off his horns. His name was Ferdinand.
Ferdinand bumped into Shrek, Donkey, and Puss. "OOF!" they all grunted. "Sorry" mumbled Ferdinand. "Argh! That's a dead end" said Shrek, looking around. "I don't think this was the right way'' gulped Donkey. "Just a keep a move on, Donkey. We better try somewhere else" replied Shrek, "Follow me!''. "Right behind ya!" said Donkey. "Si, Senor!" said Puss. "Hey, wait for me!" cried Ferdinand. One morning, Lucy was asleep in bed with her bare feet sticking out of the covers. Her alarm clock buzzed on her bedside table. Lucy groaned sleepily. She reached out her hand to press the snooze button. "URRGH!" complained Lucy as she slammed her fist down on top of it. At once the buzzing stopped.
As she got out of bed, she suddenly farted loudly. "OGH!" she moaned, hoping no one had heard her so she wouldn't be embarrassed. Lucy went into the bathroom for a shower before making pancakes for the girls for breakfast. The girls were still in their pyjamas as they ate. "Yes! Mine looks like a dead guy!" said Edith, happily. Lucy had her own breakfast before going to clean her teeth while Lupe ate goat food from her bowl. The girls brushed their teeth too and got dressed into their normal clothes, later on they were sitting on the couch with Lucy's laptop on Margo's knees. "OK, let's find the perfect image for our bedroom wall" said Margo. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" asked Agnes. "It's for our own good, Agnes, we love our mom" said Margo. On screen, images appeared while the girls are looking a profile for Lucy.
The girls looked at images of their adoptive mom. The first one of Lucy showed her wearing glasses and braces. "No" said Margo. The next one was of Lucy as a disco dancer. "Scary" said Agnes. The next one was of Lucy going hang gliding. "OK, that's even scarier" said Edith, and the last one showed Lucy being naked and she has a big swim ring to cover her privates. "AAHH!" shrieked all three of the girls. Margo covered Agnes's eyes and Edith fell off the top of the couch. "What is that?" asked Agnes. The girls didn't notice Lucy and Lupe walking in on them. "What's goin' on here?" demanded Lucy. The girls tried to get rid of the image so they wouldn't get into trouble as they knew how sensitive their mom could be about being seen naked, let alone her belly or buttocks being bare.
The girls finally got rid of it just in time before Lucy could see it and breathed sighs of relief. "Hey, girls. I'm sorry to interrupt but I have an announcement to make" said Lucy. "Hey, what celebrity do you look like?" asked Margo, changing the subject. "Uhhh….Megan Kelly?" said Lucy, confused. The girls stared at her blankly. "Mmmm...no." said Margo. "Rainbow Dash!" said Agnes. "Oh, Susan!" said Edith. "Miss Riley!" piped up Lupe. The girls laughed. "OK, what are you doing?" asked Lucy, curiously. "We're signing you up for online to be a number one celebrity" said Agnes. "WHAT?! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" cried Lucy. She grabbed the laptop away from the girls and said "No, no, no! You should do somethin' like that! EVER! Do you know how much money it costs?". "Uhh.." stammered the girls.
"Exactly! It's way too confidential and very grownup!" scolded Lucy, "Everyone's gonna start avoidin' everything for that. I may be awesome but I wouldn't do big things that far!". "But, Mom…." protested the girls. "Ah-ah-ah-ah!" said Lucy, working out what had been going on. She was a super intelligent woman. Margo was also intelligent like her adoptive mom, though sometimes she could be rather headstrong whenever she wanted something badly and go too far. "Now, Margo, promise me not to be too headstrong since you and me have our intelligence?" said Lucy. "OK, Mom" said Margo, though that was easier said than done. "Good. Now, girls…. Don't…do that…again! Ya got that?" said Lucy with a serious tone in her voice. "Yes, Mom. Sorry, Mom," apologised the girls. "Good," said Lucy, "And now for the announcement…". The girls listened.
"I've kidnapped a supervillain and the AVL forced him to be on the light side instead of the dark side" explained Lucy. "Whoa! Really?" asked Margo in amazement. "Yes, the AVL's new boss, Silas, encouraged him to go undercover and save the world" replied Lucy. "WOW! AWESOME!" whooped Edith. "Are you gonna save the world, too, Mom?" asked Agnes. "Of course I am, sweetheart. Ya know what I say, It's Momma time" said Lucy, putting on her sunglasses. Lupe brought out another pair of sunglasses and put them on, "And it's goat time" she laughed, "Goat time? Ha! Well, that sounds perfect for action". Later at the Paradise Mall, Gru and three of his minions, Kevin, Bob and Stuart went to work at Bake My Day, a store that sold cupcakes. ''Blech'' groaned Gru. But he knew he didn't have a choice.
This store was to be his cover while he spied on the other stores in order to find the master criminal lurking within the mall. Gru unlocked the door and entered. Once inside he turned to the minions and said ''All right. Here is the cupcake recipe I got off the internet''.
