Crystal, Anne, and Lucy were at the Shane Gang's house, they were all sitting on the couch listening to the group discuss whether or not they could trust them. Lucy was about to stand up, but Crystal put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't, even." She said, Lucy nodded and they all turned their heads towards the group. "Well I think we can trust them." Eli said, Lucy smiled. 'Aaaaannd, she's fangirling.' Crystal thought. "Yeah they may seem harmless, but remember what happened the last time we trusted someone, like for example Twist." Kord said, Crystal shrugged, "Well if it's happened before then I won't blame you." She said, "Oh, and I forgot to ask Who are you?" Eli asked. "I'm Crystal,this is my sister Lucy, and my best friend Anne." She said, Eli smiled. "I'm Eli, this is Kord, Trixie, and Pronto." He said, holding out his hand. Crystal looked at him. "I don't do handshakes." She said, Eli nodded, Lucy yawned. "Im tired." She complained, Crystal smirked. "And whose problem is that Lulu." She said, Lucy glared. "Shut up, Cry-stal." She said, smirking Crystal glared. "Lucille Lilac Grey. Say that one more time. I dare you." Crystal said, giving her sister a look that could kill. "N-No thanks" She said, Crystal smiled. "Good." She said, she turned to the group. "Can we stay for a bit?" She asked, Eli shrugged. "I don't see anything wrong with it." He said, Crystal smiled "Thank you." She said. "No problem." Eli said.
A couple weeks later…
Crystal was finishing up sorting everything in the kitchen, again because someone -Pronto- messed it up again and Crystal's OCD was killing her. The door to the house opened, she turned and saw Anne, Lucy, and the rest of the Shane Gang with word looks on their faces. "We have a report of marauders in Gateway Cavern." Trixie said, Crystal nodded and grabbed my knives and blaster, everyone got on their mechas and she got on with Trixie. Crystal never got a mecha, unlike Anne, and Lucy. They all went to Gateway Cavern, they all got off their mechas and looked forward and there were the marauders, Crystal gasped then she saw they had ghouls. "Hey you never said there were ghouls!" She said, Eli shrugged. "Sorry about that." Eli said, Crystal sighed and looked at the megamorph geoshard sitting on her shoulder. "You ready Amethyst?" She asked, the slug squeaked eagerly, "That's the spirit!" She said, she loaded her into the blaster, and she fired at them, Amethyst trapped some of them, momentarily they broke out and ran after they saw Eli's infurnace. Crystal sighed, she knew what was coming for Eli, she hopped on with Trixie and they rode out to the east.
Once they got there they spied on them for a minute, Crystal, Lucy, and Anne already knew what was gonna happen, and what the Sane Gang was saying, so they didn't need to pay attention, Crystal stared at the corrupted Junjie, and blushed a tiny bit, even if he was corrupted by a slug, it didn't change anything about the real Junjie, she closed her eyes for a moment and gently shook her head so no one would no one would notice the sudden movement. Then Junjie fired at them, Crystal dodged as she knew what would happen before it happened, the same with Lucy and Anne, they all ran into the fight, Crystal grabbed her knives off of her belt and went into close combat. Something she specialized in. Someone came up behind her, she turned and pressed the blade gently into the person's neck, but not enough to really hurt them. She opened her eyes to see the corrupt Junjie. She gasped, and shook in both excitement and fear. 'Oh. Shit.' She thought, he chuckled. "Go ahead, I'll always find a new host." He said, Crystal froze up. Junjie chuckled. "Too afraid?" He said, he knocked the knife out of her hand, and grabbed her throat and lifted her up, she began to choke as he began to squeeze. "Crystal!" She heard Lucy sceam, Junjie without letting go of Crystal, loaded his wrist blaster, and pointed it at Lucy. Crystal grabbed her knife and cut Junjie's wrist, he yelped, and let go. "You little rat!" He pointed his blaster at Crystal. "Go right on ahead but you are not! Touching MY sister!" She screamed. "Crystal! Lucy!" Eli yelled, Junjie grabbed Crystal's throat again only this time he squeezed her neck more, she was on the brink of passing out, he held her over a cliff. "J-Jun…...jie….." She mumbled, he looked at her, his eyes were normal for a second, but the slug took hold of him again. "Stupid human." He said, that was all Crystal heard, as she passed out. Junjie smirked and dropped her. "Crystal!" Lucy yelled, she glared at Junjie, and fired, at the end Eli still got temporarily controlled, and Junjie still got freed, but even though it was the Goon Doc, Lucy still had a dislike for Junie, she hated the slug even more. Whenever Junjie asked why Lucy had such a dislike towards him, she scoffed and walked away, or told him to leave her alone.
Junjie went outside, and found Lucy sitting on a stump. She had tear marks on her face, she was still crying, but she was out of tears. "Are you alright Lucy?" He asked, Lucy turned to see him. "It's none of your business." She said, holding a picture close to her chest. "What is that?" He asked, Lucy sighed and turned away. "Just shut up! I hate you!" She screamed, she began crying, Junjie stood shocked. "Why?" He asked. "You killed my sister! I don't care if it was the Goon! I hate you!" She punched him, and it made him stumble a bit. "I-I what?" He said. "Y-You threw my sister… off a cliff…" She said, she held up the photo of Crystal. "I come out here every day… just watching… hoping she'll come back, even though I know it's useless…" She said she went inside and dropped the picture on her way in, Junjie bent down and picked it up. "She's so… familiar.." He said he heard Eli come out of the house. "Hey I saw what went down… are you okay?" He asked. "If you consider, just learning you may have killed someone's sister, followed by guilt, okay. Then yes, I am fine." He said Eli scratched the back of his head. "Oh, sorry…" Eli said, sighing. "What was her name?" Junjie asked, Eli looked at him. "Why are you asking?" He asked, Junjie shrugged. "Just wondering." He said, Eli shrugged. "Okay then, her name was Crystal." Eli said, Junjie nodded. "It is getting late. We should get some sleep." Junjie said, Eli yawned and nodded. "Yeah, I'm getting pretty tired, maybe we'll talk more in the morning. Good night Junjie." He said, going inside.
Crystal walked along the path. "I hope the Shadow Clan were right. They might be awesome, but damn. They're creepy." She said, gently rubbing her neck, it'd been two weeks and there were still bruises on her neck left from being choked by Junjie. She sighed and sat down. "I'm just gonna." She yawned. "Close my eyes for a second." She nearly fell asleep but Amethyst woke her up. "Gah!" Crystal yelped in surprise. She turned to the slug on her shoulder. "Thanks Amethyst." She said she got up and continued walking. "It'd be so much easier if they'd just teleported me there. Right Amethyst?" She asked, the slug nodded, Crystal finally made it to the jungle cavern. "We're almost there." She said, she looked at her slug, who nuzzled her face against Crystal's cheek. Crystal giggled and petted the slug. "I know I'm excited too, but first. We need some sleep." She sat down and Amethyst did her best to use her ability to help make a small shelter so they wouldn't have to worry about anything attacking them while they slept. Crystal yawned and laid down. "Goodnight Amethyst." She said, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
