Crystal opened her eyes and yawned, she sat up and grabbed her bag, and put it on. "Amethyst, time to go."She said, sleepily there was a moment of silence. "Amethyst?" She said she crawled out of the shelter, to see Amethyst pushing a berry into a pile of some other berries. "What's this for?" She asked, the slug used her stubby arm to point to Crystal and squeaked. "For me?" She asked, the slug nodded and squeaked in happiness. "Thanks, Amethyst." She yawned, and rubbed her eyes gently. She pushed a couple berries towards her slug. "Here, you still need to eat too." She said, the slug began munching down on the berries, and Crystal did the same, once they were done, Amethyst hopped onto Crystal's shoulder. "Alright, let's go." Crystal said, the slug squeaked in agreement. Crystal smiled, and set off.

Once Crystal walked up to the house, suddenly Junjie jumped down out of nowhere. "Who are you? Why have you come here?" He said, Crystal froze remembering her last encounter with Junjie. The goon may be gone, but she was still afraid of him. "Junjie wait!" She heard Lucy yell, Crystal faced Junjie to see Lucy talking to him, Juju hopped out of the wrist blaster. 'He was gonna shoot me. With JUJU!?' She thought, Lucy turned, and froze, for a moment. Silent tears spilled. "Crystal!" Lucy ran and hugged Crystal, making her fall back. "You're alive!" She cried, Crystal smiled. "Yup, can't get rid of me that easily…" Crystal said, then her smile disappeared. "Now get off, you're crushing me." She said Lucy smiled and helped her sister up. "I apologise for my actions, I am Junjie, protector of the Eastern Caverns." Junjie said, Crystal smiled. "Nice to see you, without nearly being killed. I'm-" "Crystal, I know. Eli told me." He said Amethyst, crawled out from behind Crystal's shoulder, and squeaked. "This is Amethyst." She said, she held her hand up to the slug, and she hopped on. Crystal held her hand out so Junjie could look at her slug. "A geoshard." He said, Crystal nodded. "Yes? Why?" She asked, "Normally geoshards are a lime green, she has more of a purple tint. It's strange." He said, Crystal looked at her slug. "Huh… Never noticed it before." Crystal said. "Maybe the process was so slow you would not notice it right away." He said, Crystal shrugged. "Maybe." She heard Juju squeak, he jumped on Junjie's shoulder. Crystal's slug also squeaked, Juju jumped onto Crystal's hand, and it looked like the two slugs were talking. "That is… odd, Juju usually is not that quick to trust other slugs." Junjie said, Crystal shrugged. "I dunno, he seems to like her." She said, Junjie gave her a weird look. "As a friend jeez." She said, Junjie extended his hand, and Juju waved to Amethyst and hopped on his hand. Amethyst waved back and jumped on Crystal's Shoulder. "Let's go inside. I'm hungry." Lucy said. "Crystal, can you cook please? I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stand Pronto's cooking." Lucy said, Crystal chuckled. "Sure thing Lulu." She smirked. "Hey! You know I hate that nickname!" She said, Crystal laughed. "Whatever. Lulu." Lucy grumbled and went inside, Crystal and Junjie followed. Crystal got all the ingredients and made stuffed mushrooms, she pulled them out of the oven and set them on the stove. "Yes!" Lucy said she reached out to grab one, but Crystal swatted her hand away. "Not yet let them cool off for a minute." She said, someone came up behind her, she turned and saw it was Junjie. "Hey Junjie." She said she turned back to see Lucy shove one in her mouth. "Lucinda!" Lucy ran the instat she heard her name. "Get over here!" Crystal was about to chase her sister but Junjie grabbed her arm, Crystal sighed, and calmed back down. "Siblings…" She said she turned to face Junjie. "Did you need something?" She asked, Junjie shook his head. "No, but I do have a question." He said. "What is it?" Crystal asked, "What, is that?" He asked, pointing to the stuffed mushrooms. "They're stuffed mushrooms, here, try one." She said, grabbing one, junjie tried to speak, but she shoved the mushroom in his mouth, he rolled his eyes and bit into it, he started chewing, and Crystal saw a small smile, it disappeared quickly, and he swallowed it. "It's not bad." He said, Crystal smiled, she grabbed a couple and shoved them in her mouth. She grabbed the tray and brought it to the living room. "Crystal, you're back!" Eli said, Crystal nodded. She took a step back. "I made stuffed mushrooms." She said, Pronto quickly grabbed some. "Hey, let everyone else have some too." She said. "Yes, yes, of course." He said, as he sat on the couch, and started eating them, and everyone else started to eat. Crystal sat on the couch Junjie grabbed a mushroom, and ate it, he turned to Crystal and sat next to her. "Crystal, are you going to eat?" He asked, Crystal shook her head. "No, I ate some berries this morning, same with Amethyst." She said, her slug hopped down to the table. "Then why is she eating?" He asked. "She loves stuffed mushrooms." Crystal said, Juju jumped down from Junjie's shoulder, he looked t Junjie, Junjie nodded and Juju jumped down and onto the table, Amethyst split her food in half and gave the untouched half to Juju. "Cutest thing ever." Crystal whispered. Junjie chuckled. Trixie got up from her desk. "Guys. We've got a mission." She said, Crystal smiled. "Lucy." She said, Lucy ran up to Crystal's old room, which is currently Junjie's room. Se came out and tossed Crystal's knives. She jumped and caught them, and quickly put them on her belt. "Amethyst." She said, the slug smiled and nodded, Crystal held up her blaster. Amethyst eagerly jumped in.
