"Wait a second. I'm not gonna eat ya" protested Shrek "Yeah. I'd never do that" said Ferdinand. "Wait, wait. Hold on. You're not like the other meatheads, are you?" said Una. "Don't be fooled, sister. Where do you think the word bully comes from, hmm? It ain't from chickens!" retorted Dos. "No, no. Look at them! They're soft and sweet" said Una. "Like butter" added Cuarto. Shrek: "Who are you three supposed to be?". "Let's start over. I'm Una" said Uno. "I'm Dos" said Dos. "And I'm Cuatro" said Cuatro. "Oh. What happened to Tres?" asked Ferdinand. The hedgehogs' eyes widened, crossing their hearts. "We do not speak of Tres" finished Una. It was clear to the travellers that one of the hedgehogs team must be dead. They felt sorry for them. "Oh. Sorry" said Ferdinand. "Can we continue with our quest?" asked Puss. "Alright, that's more like it!'' said Donkey ''Shrek, Donkey, Puss and Ferdinand on another whirlwind adventure!".
He started singing "Ain't no stoppin' us now! Whoo! We're on the move!". "Wait! Take us with you!" begged Una. "Join the club. We've got jackets" added Shrek. So the three hedgehogs did. "Oh, so now it's cute" said Donkey. "Come on, Donkey. Lighten up" said Shrek. "Lighten up? I should lighten up? Look who's tellin' who to lighten up!" said Donkey, talking fast. The next day, Gru and Lucy hid in separate bins at the food court, looking for their next possible suspect.
Suddenly Gru's phone begin to ring. One moment please?" said Gru, getting out his phone and taking the call. It was his mom, Marlena. "Hello, Mom. Sorry, but this isn't a good time but…'' he started to say, but she cut him off. "I just wanted to congratulate you for giving up your villainy" she said, "You know how much bad stuff you did over the years and now you've finally changed". "Just so you know, Mom, I am about to do something very important. When you hear about, you are going to be very proud" said Gru. "Sure thing. OK, I'm out of here" said Marlena, ending the call.Gru and Lucy talked through earpieces. Gru was still annoyed about last night's break in. ''I mean, who puts salsa in a safe? What kind of person does that? That's weird right?'' he said. ''Very weird'' Lucy agreed. Then she spotted someone in her binoculars. ''All right, there he is. Suspect number 8, Floyd Eaglesan''. Gru recognised him. ''I told you that's not the guy'' he said. Lucy urged him on. ''See if you can get closer. Go, go, go!'' she said. Gru stood up in the bin and his legs stuck out as he made his way over to Floyd. Just as he was about to get close enough to investigate, a man approached the bin with a steaming hot cup of coffee. An alarm began to sound warning Gru that something extremely roasting hot was coming his way. "Oh, no! That's not good!" he cried. Gru saw that the man was about to throw the hot coffee away and quickly backed up. The man continued towards him. Gru backed away even further.
The man was determined and lunged towards Gru's bin with his hot coffee. Gru stood up and ran away. The man followed him, still wanting to get rid of his trash. He passed a woman who was talking to her little girl and he accidentally hit her butt and the man stopped, giving up then looked at the woman. Whilst the girl was staring in confusion at the runaway bin, her mom punched the man, thinking if he hit her. Lucy was climbing out of her bin when she heard a familiar voice. ''Hi Mom!'' said Agnes. Lucy startled, looked behind and then down to see her adoptive daughters with Lupe. "Girls? What're you doin' here? Shouldn't you be at school?" asked Lucy in surprise. "It's Saturday, Mom" Margo pointed out "So, you're saving the world in a garbage can?". "Ha, ha, ha! Very funny, Margo" scoffed Lucy, indignantly. Just then Gru came back. "Urgh! That was a close one" he muttered. The girls looked at him and he looked at them.
''Gru, these are my adoptive daughters'' said Lucy, ''Margo, Edith and Agnes. And this is Lupe the goat'' she added as Lupe bleated to say hello. "Hello" said Margo. "Hi," said Edith. "Do you smell like strawberries?" asked Agnes. "What?!" said Gru. Lucy laughed. "Sorry, she's just learning" she said, quickly, then she looked serious. "OK, girls, sorry, but Gru and I have a lot of work to do" she said. Lucy quickly shuffled the girls away from Gru. She gave them some money and they ran off with Agnes singing about love and Lucy sighed with relief. ''All right, let's get back to work'' said Gru.
As Lupe chewed on some cans and the girls sat on the edge of a mall fountain, Agnes closed her eyes and concentrated for a few seconds. Then she tossed a penny into the water. She opened her eyes, waiting for her wish to come true. Instead, Edith emerged from the water wearing a diving mask and snorkel. Her hands were full of coins. ''Is that stealing?'' asked Agnes. ''Not if my wish was that I'd get a load of free coins'' Edith answered coyly. "Dream on, Edith, they don't grow on trees" scoffed Lupe. Margo sat nearby, busily texting someone when something caught her eye. It was a boy! Suave, cool and a bit dangerous, he was wearing black leather jacket, a purple shirt that has the letter Z on it, blue denim jeans that was curled up at the feet, black Macbeth sneakers and a scarf like Felonius Gru except Antonio's scarf was blue, it didn't have stripes and he wore it like a tie.
She watched as he strolled behind the fountain and then disappeared in its spraying water. Getting up, Margo went to look for the mystery boy and walked backwards into the ledge of the fountain. ''Whoa!'' she said.
