The boy quickly appeared out of nowhere and caught her in time before she fell backwards into the fountain. ''Cool glasses'' he said. Margo laughed awkwardly, having never been complimented by a boy her own age before. ''I'm Antonio'' said the boy. ''I'm Margo'' replied the dazed girl. ''I was just going to get a cookie'' said Antonio, ''Care to join me?''. ''Uh sure'' said Margo, casually. They began to walk away together when Margo remembered her sisters. ''I'll catch up with you guys later'' she called over her shoulder, ''Bye!''. Edith and Agnes stared at her. ''Can I be the first to say Ew!'' said Edith making a face. Agnes shock Edith and Lupe at the same time. ''WE GOTTA GO TELL MOM!'' she urged. Meanwhile, Gru approached Floyd's Eagle Hair Club and adjusted a device on his belt buckle that scanned for traces of PX-41.
Lucy was in the cupcake shop monitoring the results. She spoke to Gru through a Microscopic Transmitter in his ear. ''If it picks up any traces of the serum, the sensor in your belt buckle will go off like this. MEE-MO-MEE-MO-MEE-MO!'' she explained. Gru cringed at the annoying sound and said, ''All right, I'm going in''. He walked inside the Eagle Hair Club. At the reception desk, a large chair shaped like an eagle spins around.
Sitting in the chair was Floyd Eagleson, looking sinister and petting a furry object. ''It's about time you showed up, Mr Gru'' he said. ''You know my name?'' said a startled Gru. Floyd chuckled, ''When someone who us follicle-challenged moves into the mall, I make it my business to know all about them. You are bald and that is bad'' he said, stroking the furry object and kissing it, then he placed it on the head of a mannequin. It was a toupee! ''There you go, my pretty'' he said. Back in the cupcake shop, Lucy was monitoring the chemical-tracking device. ''I'm getting nothing so far'' she said to Gru through his earpiece, ''I think you need to move around''. Gru heard Lucy and rushed over to a painting of Floyd flying with eagles. ''Wow, this looks interesting. What is it? Gru thrust his hips at the painting, trying to get the sensor in his belt buckle to pick up something.
Floyd watched him looking suspicious. ''So…you're an art lover?''. ''No serum!'' said Lucy to Gru through his earpiece. ''Yeah not so much'' said Gru to Floyd, ''How about this impressive trinket?''. But Lucy told him the device wasn't picking anything there either. Gru moved to a shelf filled with wig samples to investigate. ''MEE-MO-MEE-MO-MEE-MO!'' Lucy's device had been set off. ''Behind that wall!'' she told Gru. He moved the wigs aside and tried to see what was behind the wall. Floyd picked up a sample. ''These are my trail wigs. You should take one'' he said. Gru was more worried about the PX-41 and responded, ''No thanks. So what's on the other side of this wall?''.
Floyd got annoyed that Gru wasn't listening to him and snapped, ''Look at me! Focus!''. Gru turned around to face Floyd who started his sales pitch. ''Look, I know how tough it is being bald. The taunts can be so cruel. Chrome Dome, Egghead. Baldilocks…''. Gru shuddered at each name as if he had been called them before. Floyd saw that he now had Gru's attention and tried to close the deal. ''I promise that this wig will transform you from ugly to irresistible''. Gru stared at the wig, getting caught up in what Floyd was telling him. Back at the cupcake store, Lucy was still monitoring when Edith, Agnes and Lupe burst in, all out of breath. ''Margo has a boyfriend!'' yelled Agnes. ''And they're going on a date!'' added Edith. "IT'S TRUE! IT'S TRUE!" shrieked Lupe. "What?!" asked Lucy. She raced through the mall with Agnes and Lupe in tow while Edith walked slowly along with her arms hanging down and looking bored. She scratched an itchy spot on her buttocks.
''There she goes!'' Agnes cried, pointing to the Salsa and Salsa restaurant as Margo went in with Antonio. Lucy, Lupe, Edith and Agnes entered and saw Antonio and Margo sitting together in the back of the restaurant. "Margo? Margo? Where are you?" called Lucy. Margo was too busy chuckling at something Antonio was saying. "Gross!" said Edith, ''Look, they're in love!''. ''Everyone has the right to fall in love, Edith'' said Lucy, ''Though I wonder how long has Margo been in relationship with this boy? I'm not sure if he is from the same school as you girls''.
"Yeah, and I love love" added Lupe. Antonio and Margo stared at each other longingly. Lucy approached them casually with Edith, Agnes and Lupe close behind. ''Hola, Mama'' said Margo, talking in Spanish, ''Esto es Antonio. 'Antonio, this is my mom Lucy, my little sisters, Edith and Agnes and Lupe our pet goat'' she said, introducing everyone to each other. "Yeah, we've already met'' said Edith. Lucy was amazed that Margo was intelligent enough to speak Spanish. "Woah, Margo, where'd you learn to speak Spanish?" she said. "Well, I have had lessons on other languages at school" replied Margo. ''And my dream is to one day play video games for a living'' Antonio told her. ''Wow, you are so complicated'' replied Margo. Before Lucy could say anything else, salsa music began to play. Across the room, a curtain opened and someone leapt out spinning like a tornado.
It was Eduardo! He landed with a flourish in the middle of the restaurant. He danced with customers and handed out business cards. Lucy didn't know what to think, for a guy that Gru said could be El Macho, he seemed a pretty good dancer. Eduardo walked over to Lucy and gave her a big, warm hug. ''So good to see you again, Lucia'' he said, welcomingly. Lucy tried to free herself from the hug as quickly as possible. Antonio smiled up at Lucy. ''I see you have already meet my father'' he said. ''Oh, so you two are related then?'' asked Lucy.
