"So in agreement with Dr Curtis you will be given 6mg of Rivastigmine, 20mg of Olanzapine and 300 mg Quetiapine every day until the symptoms pass." The Doctor said seriously "Your recent poisonings are more than likely the cause of your symptoms so we are treating it as such." He finished.
Walter nodded, processing the information. He felt a sense of relief- They didn't think it was MS thank God! One question remained though but his Dad got there before he did "Will they pass though-The symptoms? Is there a chance that any of them will be permanent?"
The Doctor frowned "I can't say for sure. It's an unusual and complex case involving some very dangerous drugs. I can only theorise that his past narcotics addiction may have given him a higher tolerance for them dispite being very different drugs, but all I can say for sure is your Son is lucky to be alive. I'm sorry to say that only time will tell."
Louise gasped and hugged Walter tightly. She had already lost Megan, the thought of loosing Walter as well terrified her. Her whole body shook as she cried "Thank the Lord you're still with us" she wept. She didn't want to let her Son out of her sight again.
Paige turned Walter's face to meet hers "You're still here with us, thats what matters now" she almost whispered before moving her face to his to give the suprised Genius a searing kiss. After a minute she pulled back embarrassed "I'm sorry" she whispered, before Walter shook his head "Don't be" he replied, before pulling her back to his lips.
Cabe's face was unreadable as he entered the room. Inside his stomach was turning with the information he was about to depart. He waited for Walter and Paige to finish kissing, not wanting to interfer with their moment.
A minute or two after they broke apart Cabe cleared his throat. He opened his mouth for a moment before closing it again. He really didn't want to repeat what he'd just been told. He tried to speak again but all that came out was a quiet "umm". Walter rolled his eyes at Cabe "You're being inefficient. If you have something to say then say it"
Cabe took a shakey breath and cleared his throat again before speaking "Yesterday nearby Nemos Diner there was a shooting. Mark Collins was identified as the shooter. I don't think he realised there was CCTV there. He shot Florence in the face, she died instantly" Happy's facial expression hardened "Good riddance" she said to the agreement of Paige.
Meanwhile Walter's eyes widened "He killed his own sister?" He blurted out shocked to the suprise of the others "Hold up- Back up just a minute!" Toby exclaimed "That rapist nut job is that psycho's sister?!" "Was" Happy deadpanned. Paige turned to Walter in suprise "How long had you known?!" She demanded. Walter looked at everyone in confusion "Since the first day. That's why I didn't trust her back then. We hack everyone- I thought you all knew" he replied in suprise.
After getting over his suprise of Florence's Sibling (if he'd have known he'd have never allowed her near his kids) Cabe cleared his throat again "There's more. Before he shot Florence he'd -well I'm assuming it was him- already stabbed someone else...it was Slyvester. They- They don't know if he's going to make it"
There was silence before the team and Walter's parents began to argue as to whether or not they should feel sorry for the former Scorpion/Centipede member. Walter closed his eyes and held his head in stress as his Parents, Happy, Paige and Toby bickered amongst themselves. A couple of minutes passed before Walter snapped- "ENOUGH!!!" He bellowed "Like it or not Sly is still my Brother! He fell for her Manipulations like everyone else did and yes he's done some stupid stuff since but who amongst us hasn't done stuff we've regretted since?!"
Sean looked towards the floor in remorse. He had been firmly against feeling sorry Slyvester. He took in Walter's words- apart from two occasions he'd not entered a Church since he'd left Ireland but his capacity for forgiveness was much higher then his -a practicing Catholic- was. He also thought of the lives Walter had saved through his work and wondered why he'd struggled to connect with his incredible Son as a adult.
A/N Grykon: I've always theorised that Collins is attracted to Walter not just Intellectually but Physically as well in Canon (though who knows really). Either way he has an extremely unhealthy obsession with him.
