Star City
Oliver and Sara sat on separate seats in the bar, reflecting on their respective times.
"Ava and I are no longer together", Sara claims, being very sad now. She turns to look at Oliver. "An unfit move we made for keeping secrets".
"Do you have any way you can regain her forgiveness? We both know Ava has a pretty hard time taking it in on the whole brainwash Kara did. She experienced it before with Rip. Now, it seems Ava is taking it way too deep almost as if you two will never regain that relationship", said Oliver. Oliver was divulged some time before about Ava being a manufactured clone from the future.
Sora sighs in frustration over processing on how to resolve her relationship with the woman she loves. "I'm working on it. As well as friendships with the my crew", Sara claims.
"The Legends?", Oliver questioned, fully latched on believing Sara is referring to her team.
"The Legends", Sara nodded, assuring her ex-lover he is correct.
"How'll you regain their trust?", Oliver questions.
"Has your wife tried to regain their trust?", Sara rhetorically questions Oliver, indicating she is going to wait.
Oliver newly notes what Sara is going to do in order to regain her team's trust: simply waiting.
Sara takes a sip from the alcohol in her mouth, shortly laying the cup out of its latch on her mouth. "That's what I'm going to do", Sara said, seeing Oliver understood her. "Anyway, how did your mom take it when you told her about your secret life with Kara".
Oliver remembered telling Sara that she visited Moira to tell her the truth that he hadn't told her. "Fine. I shouldn't be that surprised, considering she didn't appear to be too shocked when she found out I was the vigilante", Oliver remarks, recalling his past during the Siege saga, dealing Isabel and Slade, whom at the time was an enemy of Oliver.
"Come on now Oliver, you think rich people like Moira would be kept in the dark for too long. She is your mom. Intuition after all. Like my mom's, though in different circumstances, when she didn't give up on finding me, and had a worrying feeling when I died by, you know, your own sister, plotted by Malcolm, who you killed", said Sara.
"I admit there are some things women are capable of that men aren't. Examples? Encouraged to be receptive to their inner thoughts", said Oliver, subsequently taking one sip from his drink.
"Never underestimate the power of female intuition. Some women can recognise any player's game even before they start it", Sara regarded. "They also have other ways to dominate a horde of men".
"Super-strength?", Oliver jokingly asked, referring to the Amazons who are gifted with abilities from Themycira.
"Don't be stupid", Sara said, finally finishing off her drink as did Oliver.
The two humans finished their drinks and are about to depart the bar.
Kara and Alex's Apartment, National City
The Danvers sisters talked about Kara's secret life. Life in Argo City, future versions of Kara's kids, Kara already married in terms of kryptonian culture.
Much to note on what Kara disclosed her, Alex is clearly happy for Kara's development in her own life, something that doesn't always have to involve her alter-ego, being National City's protector where she would learn and be taught how to be a better hero like her cousin. Rather Kara now has a life built with Oliver Queen, which Alex Danvers never thought would come true. "Kara. This life of yours is incomprehensive to account in. A playboy billionaire tied around with a kind, caring, selfless, intelligent and brave young woman who is basically god-almighty", Alex comments.
"Former playboy billionaire", Kara corrects, added with a gesture via a finger lifted up.
"Still, it's hard to imagine how you and Oliver could get mixed up. If this became such an exclusive view, I would have discerned Lex Luthor partnering with Kate Kane", said Alex.
Kara facially conveys her expression in disgust on the pairing of Kate and Lex. "A disgusting combo if you ask me", she remarks. She quickly focused back on talking about how herself and Oliver somehow romantically intertwine. "Anyway, it's all in the blast, Oliver and I are together, and...". Kara gestures her fingers to showcase the criss-cross. "...forever".
Alex displays a smile, subsequent to wrapping her arms around Kara, showing she is very proud of her.
Kara accepts the hug, hugging back.
The two sisters shortly parted.
"I'm happy for you", Alex says, giving a more brighter smile.
Kara weakly nods, taking up her sister's words in the heart. She then turns to watch the TV, in which Alex rolls her eyes.
The Danvers sisters enjoy their time as they watch a show, since the two haven't had much time spent together since they technically got separated for months.
S.T.A.R. Labs, Central City
Barry Allen and Iris are left alone to themselves as Cisco is on a date with Gypsy, and Caitlin went out to deal with an issue. The two reminisce their talk with Oliver and Kara, seeking what one another's side of how to absolve with the two. Truly, Kara and Oliver are close friends. In spite of Barry having slightly acted out because of being a little riled over having his memories forcible changed to falsely retain regimented memories on a different looking Supergirl. The two married couple of the West-Allen family lay on the balcony.
"How are you holding up?", Barry questions, placing a hand softly on Iris, whom promptly turned to eye at the speedster. Barry hasn't heard a word from Iris during Oliver and Kara's confession of their big secret.
Iris inhales, then exhales. "Considering getting brainwashed by what Kara did our heads is as worse as Julia Shaw's, I'd rather not talk about it till I get my head straight, before another battle constrains me to partake in this ongoing crusade", Iris says.
Barry nodded, understanding Iris doesn't wish to comment or make a remark on Oliver and Kara's action.
Iris fully looks at Barry, wondering on his composure. "Barry, can I ask you a question?", Iris requested.
Barry revolves, eyeing at Iris wholly. "Yes. Go ahead", the fastest man alive permits his wife to question him.
Iris recomposes herself, readying to engage in facial conditions with Barry. "You've worked with dozens of people, accountably lots of heroes in that big league you're apart of. Certainly enough, I can see clearly that you worked with people that seem jerky, selfish, insane, deranged or has paranoia. Yet you easily worked with people that are different to your actions when you become a hero. Hal Jordan is an ego-driven jerk. Oliver Queen is a man who bursts, losing his demeanour when he sees something that causes him instantly to tap into this darkness. Batman is dark vigilante who-", Iris is forced to stop when Barry opens his mouth to talk.
"Seeks to resolve and ensure his city is a safer place where it isn't timed-extendedly filled with notorious criminals he is forced to face, along keeping in mind of keeping check of the League's infinite power", Barry talks back.
"Still, you always see the good in people that have brutal tendencies you don't tolerate when you're close to them. What's in it that yourself along with separately these people could form such bonds? Caitlin and Frost were different. They made their amends. Hartley has made his amends, well sort of. But those people, they're different", said Iris.
"We lay our differences aside and give an undoubtful certainty we can cooperate and work. Me working with Eobard wasn't out of friendship. This was temporary alliance. I hate the guy a thousand times. As for Hal, Oliver and Batman's cases, they're different. I work way better with them as much as I'd do with my team", Barry explains. He then briefly refers to a movie he watched that shows how friendship and alliance worked out.
"Which won't be for long", Iris claims, showing her effective sympathy gleaned from her expression. "Speed Force is dying, your powers are dropping considerably at a faster rate, and I don't have to mention any of it since you know it already".
Barry weakly nods, displaying his awareness he doesn't have much speed left inside. One thing he didn't truthfully tell Oliver, Kara or Sara is about his speed. Barry's speed isn't the only one that's soon to get lost. Wally West is losing his because he is also using the Speed Force to draw his speed out.
Right after Iris reminded Barry about his loss of his speed, something appears to be contacting Barry.
Barry notices it's from that little device he implanted on his ear in case he ever received call from either his team, his other friends from other cities where the speedsters would flash in and out, or by the Justice League. Barry picks up the call, while gesturing Iris to provide him space.
Iris goes backwards, complying.
"Yeah?", Barry says, shortly afterwards hearing his name called out. Barry recognises the voice seemingly as someone with a familiar masculine voice. "J'onn? What is it?". Barry is then addressed about a meeting he has to attend. "Meeting? Right now?". Barry hears an answer meaning he has to go there now. "Okay. I understand. I'm on my way". Soon after that, Barry ends the call, shortly looking up to Iris. "I have to go".
"Then go", Iris replies with a calm manner.
Barry nods, subsequent to super-speeding away.
Unbeknownst to Barry Allen, Iris proceeds to move to the window, looking at something particular that has firmly caught her attention.
In that window, a figure appears in presence, though not latched on the same way a being would be in this side. "Is it going well?", a mysterious woman questions Iris via contact distinguished from the unknown figure shown at the window.
"It is fulfilled as expected. Iris West-Allen's close bond with Barry Allen will be Barry's downfall. Soon, both the Flash and Barry Allen will fall to their knees", this Iris claims, subsequently smirking.
A/N: Is it really the real Iris West-Allen Barry is talking to? This last part was meant to setup for the events that occurred in the Flash Season 6, the last half of the season after Crisis on Infinite Earths. I won't be writing anything about this. If you saw all episodes of Flash Season 6 and the first few episodes of Season 7, then you know what happened.
