Alexandra ran through the corridor of Hogwarts Express. All the carriages are full. Soon Alexandra was facing the last carriage. She knocked on the door. No one answered. Damn it, she thought. Alexandra pulled her wand out and said,' Alohomora.' The door clicked open and she pushed it open.

A girl with thick, red hair and emerald eyes was pulling a boy with greasy hair towards the door. A boy with messy black hair and glasses was lounging on the chair. A mousy looking boy was looking at him in awe. Another boy was sitting opposite them and was reading a book. But Alexandra's eyes fell on the last boy. The boy had dark hair and eyes. He is very handsome, she thought, no, but Father says that I should only make friends with purebloods.

'Um... Hi!' Alexandra began awkwardly. The six kids stared at her. 'Um... Mind if I sit down?' Alexandra asked. No response. Alexandra sat next to the handsome boy. They sat in silence for two minutes, then Alexandra broke the ice. 'My name is Alexandra Arlington, what's yours?' The boy with messy hair smiled and said, 'My name is James, James Potter.' 'Peter Pettigrew.' replied the mousy boy. The boy reading his book looked up and extended his hand, 'Remus Lupin.' Alexandra shook his hand. So far, so good she thought.

The girl with red hair broke into a smile and said, 'My name is Lily Evans.' Alexandra stood up and hugged her. When she drew away Lily looked surprised. 'It's great having a friend that is a girl,' she whispered. Lily grinned. Then she turned around and pointed at the greasy-haired boy. 'This is Severus Snape.' Alexandra nodded at him. 'I'm Sirius Black,' a voice came from behind her so she turned around, and was startled to see the handsome looking boy staring at her intensely, making her feel slightly uncomfortable.

'Well,' Alexandra cleared her throat, 'I think that you should sit down.' She gestured towards Lily. 'Actually,' Lily glared at James, 'We're just leaving.' She opened the door and left with Severus.

Alexandra sighed and turned around to find all four boys staring at her. 'What's wrong?' Alexandra asked. Remus took out a mirror and handed to her. At an instance, she knew why. She gazed at her reflection in the mirror. A pretty girl with golden-blond hair, dark turquoise eyes, pink lips and bottle green robes.

Alexandra looked up from the mirror and smiled. She knew that she is going to have a smashing year at Hogwarts with her four new friends.
