Driving back to her house from Stockton Ava felt that she was doing the right thing, but then realized her delima. She offered two people a place in her guest room. Herman's daughter, and her little brother's ex girlfriend.
There was only one bed in the guest room. That was the problem. Her home was a two bedroom two and a half bath. She pulled out her cell phone and called her mom's brother. He was the one person she felt that she could go to. Yes her cousin Harry, but he had his own life and family, and she didn't want to get in the way.
Besides her mom's brother was lonely, and was just feeling left out sort of. Then there was her older brother on her dad's side, but he was always busy and like Harry had his own family with Tara and Abel. She didn't want to get in the way of him for her petty nonesence either.
"Hello." said Piney answering Ava's call.
"Hey it's me. I'm just leaving Stockton. My little brother broke up with his girl who is pregnant. I offered the extra room at my place, but the I offered the same room to Herman's daughter. Problem is there is only one bed in that room." said Ava.
"Well you can either say no to one or the other or get bunk beds." said Piney.
"Okay both of them are teenagers so two twin bunks won't cut it." said Ava.
"Do some research. They have Queen over Queen, Twin XL over Queen, Full over Full, Full Full Full, Queen Queen Queen, and King over King. Just work with all of that." said Piney.
"I don't need or have room for the three bunks, but the queen over queen, and the king over king looks like it will work. Thanks Uncle Piney. I love you. So what are you doing?" Ava asked.
"Sitting in my cabin drinking. It's been a shitty day without you here." said Piney.
"Awww you want me to come over and bring you some food?" Ava asked.
"Could I come over there to your place? Please you are the only family on my sister's side that's talking to me, and not in jail." said Piney.
"Sure come on over. What do you want to eat, and I'll stop at the store and fix it for you." said Ava.
"Anything is fine. Though I have to tell you that Kozik, and Happy have been sniffing around. They both want you honey." said Piney.
"Well I am not looking for anything right now. I just am in a weird place at the moment. I am not looking for anything. I have to get my career going, and I am going to be looking after my brother's ex girlfriend since she is pregnant. My little brother, your fucking youngest nephew just ran out on Emily. I mean what the fuck!" Av felt comfortable swearing while talking to her mom's brother so she just let loose.
"And my oldest is with the Mayans MC. It wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for Clay." Piney ranted.
"Okay invite Opie, Donna, and the kids over, and you come over yourself, and I'll fix something on the grill. Burgers, Steaks, and hotdogs. The kids will just wear themselves out in the pool." said Ava.
"Well Kozik will be there with his daughter, and then well I have to tell Jax and Tara, and of course Abel will be there. Oh lets not forget Happy he always shows up for everything, and with you being afraid to give one or the other a chance they are both going to be trying hard with you." said Piney.
"Uncle Piney I have on idea who to talk to except you, but I am confused. It's simple with Happy, but I feel safe with both of them. Happy is more of talking, and Kozik is more physical, but I feel the urge to protect his teenage daughter.
"Then neither are the type for a romantic relationship. They are your brothers or cousins, and since you have a good heart you love helping out. The one is out there just don't' sell yourself short." said Piney.
Before Piney could say anything else he decided to get on the bike and leave. He had a sweetbutt aka Croweater to help him out.
Ava just cleaned up her house and ordered the bunks with comfortable mattresses before putting chemicals in her pool to make sure that it was in good shape. She had no idea what was going on with the MC since she was outside of it all and just minded her business and didn't get involved.
So much had happened. Gemma had been raped from Zobelle and Weston, and now they were all about to go on lockdown. Ava was not on Margaret Murphy's radar because she did her job, and didn't involve herself with bullshit.
