"Adelaide!" Elena yelled out as Adelaide walked in the door." Where have you been? You missed dinner."
"Oh, god. I´am so sorry Elena." Adelaide groaned out. she had forgot all about the dinner." I´am sorry i lost track of the time." Adelaide said as she turned her head and raised her eyebrow." Damon, Caroline." Adelaide waved as she saw them sitting in the front room along side Bonnie and Stefan. Adelaide turned back to Elena." What´re they doing here?"
"Bonnie told Caroline about the dinner, and decided to show up."
"Damon?"
"Caroline invited him." Elena told her.
"I don´t want..."
"Adelaide you will never believe what happened." Caroline cut in and Adelaide took Elena´s hand and walked into the room and pulled Elena down on the couch beside her.
"Tanner let Stefan on the team! I can not believe that Tanner let you on the team. " Caroline said." Tyler must be seething. But, good for you."
"That´s what i always tell him. You have to engage. You can´t just sit there and wait for life to come to you. You have to go get it." Damon preached.
Caroline nodded her head." Yeah, Elena wasn´t so lucky to day." She said as she turned to Elena." It´s only because she missed summer camp. God, i don´t know how you´re ever going to learn the routines."
Adelaide rolled her eyes." She will learn."
"I guess we could put her in the back."
"What´s your problem?" Adelaide asked Caroline.
"You know, you don´t seem like the cheerleading type, Elena." Damon said as he looked over at Elena.
"Oh, it´s just cause her parents died." Caroline said before she looked over at Elena." Yeah, i mean, she´s just totally going through a blah phase. she used to be more fun."
"What´s wrong with you!" Adelaide yelled in anger.
"And i say that with complete sensitivity." Caroline said quickly.
"First you put Tyler down and now Elena! Who´s next!? Adelaide asked Caroline before she stormed out up to her room.
Adelaide laid on her bed staring at the ceiling. When someone knocked on her bedroom door and she sighed because she could not deal with anyone right now. She closed her eyes when another knock could be heard, she opened her eyes and got up and from her bed and walked towards her door and opened it, and saw Elena standing there.
"Can i talk to you?" Elena asked.
Adelaide looked at Elena for a few second before she nodded her head." Yeah, sure."
They made their way to Adelaide´s bed and sat down so the were facing each other." I want to quit cheerleading."
"Is this because of what Caroline said?" Adelaide asked with anger." Because she has no right to..." Adelaide paused as she saw the sad look on Elena´s face." You don´t like it anymore?"
"I just dot feel the same way about cheerleading as i once did." Elena told her.
"You should do what makes you happy and if cheerleading dosen´t make you happy, quit. But just remember you have to deal with Caroline.
Elena groaned and Adelaide laughed as she pulled Elena towards her." Don´t worry i will protect you, from the big bad Caroline Forbes."
"She can be bad." Elena mumbled before both girls started to laugh. A few second later Elena noticed the locket that Adelaide wore around her neck." It´s beautiful."
"What?" Adelaide asked as she looked at Elena with a confused look on her face.
"The locket." Elena said as she pointed her finger at the locket.
Adelaide moved her hand up and felt her fingers touch something hard and she looked down and saw the locket." Oh, that." She said with a laugh." I found it laying in my jewelry box." Adelaide shook her head, because she didn´t know why she just said that to Elena because she hadden´t been wearing a locket when she got dressed this morning.
"You okay?" Elena asked her.
"Yeah." Adelaide said before she pulled Elena towards her and they cuddled up against each other." You want?" Adelaide asked and she smiled to herself when she felt Elena nodding her head.
"We havet done this in forever." Elena said as she looked into her sister´s eyes." I miss this."
"Me too." Adelaide told her.
"I love you Ada." Elena said before closing her eyes.
"I love you too Elena." Adelaide said as she took Elena´s hand into her own and closed her eyes.
"Where is your sister?" Caroline asked. Adelaide just shrugged her shoulders, not in the mood to talk to Caroline after what happened the other night.
"Look I´am sorry alright. I was rude and heartless and I´am sorry okay."
Adelaide shut her locker and turned around to face Caroline." She quit."
"She can´t quit cheerleading!" Caroline told her.
"Well, she did and you had no right to..."
"There she is !" Caroline said cutting Adelaide off." I´am going to talk to her."
"Be nice our i will not be!" Adelaide yelled after Caroline.
"Hey."
Adelaide turned around and smiled as she saw Stefan wearing his football uniform."Ooh. Look at you."
Stefan opened his arms ."How do i look?" He asked her.
"I think you look good." Adelaide told him.
"What´s going on?" Stefan asked as he looked over her shoulder and Adelaide turned around to see what he was talking about and she saw Elena and Caroline going at each other.
"Elena quit cheerleadinh." Adelaide said as she turned back around to face Stefan.
"Why?"
"She´s just not that into cheerleading anymore and i don´t think Caroline understand. Will you do me a favor?"
"Sure."
"Go help Elena." Adelaide asked him.
"Of course." Stefan told her and she pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you." Adelaide said as she pulled away from the hug. "I will see you tonight." Adelaide said before she took Stefan by the arm and pushed him down the hall." Now. Go safe your girl." Adelaide told him.
"Matt, if you call me one more time i will suffocate you in your sleep."
"Well i wouldn´t have to bug you if you would just hurry up!" Matt argued with Adelaide over the phone. Ha had been waiting ouside the Gilbert house so he could take her to the prep rally. What the hell is takeing you so long!"
Aelaide snorted on the other end. In cause you forgotten, I´am still a girl. Just give me a second."
Matt groaned as he rested his head on his steering wheel." If you´re not in my truck in five minutes i will leave and you have to find another... Shit!"
The phone dropped from Matt´s hand as he heard a knock on the passenger side window, making him jump. Adelaide stood there wating for him to unlock the door. When he did, she climbed in the truck.
"You have no patience whatsoever." Adelaide grumbled." What?" She asked with a rised eyebrow as she saw Matt staring at her.
"What´s beeing going on between you and Tyler?...oh, no you don´t." Matt said locking the door to keep her from opening it.
"Seriously?"
"You two have been figthing a lot lately and..."
"We slept together."
"You slept together?" Matt asked.
"Yes."
"You and Tyler slept together.
"Yes."
"You and..."
" Why do you keep on repeating what i said?"
"When!?" Matt shouted.
"Why´re you shouting at me?" Adelaide shouted back.
"I don´t know!" Matt shouted.
"Then stop shouting!"
Matt hold up his hand" Okay. Okay. So you have been fighting because you slept together?" He asked, lookeing over at the girl sitting next to him.
Adelaide groaned." We have been fighting because Tyler want more then i can give him."
"Oh."
"Yeah, but we talked and..." Adelaide paused because this was conversation she so didn´t want to have with Matt, she hadden´t even told Elena.
"Dose Elena know?" Matt asked.
Adelaide shook her head."No. And you can´t tell her."Adelaide said as she turned to him. I mean it Matthew." She said as she pointed a warning finger at him.
"I promise." Matt told her.
"Thank you. So should we get going?"
"Yeah. Lets go." Matt said as he started up the car." You slept with Tyler." Adelaide punched him on arm." OW! Matt said before he started to laugh at the look on Adelaide´s face.
"Go!" Adelaide said as she pointed her finger towards the road.
Adelaide saw a fight break out at the prep rally and ran over only to see Jeremy and Tyler brawling on the ground.
"Tyler, stop it!" Vicki yelled.
"Jeremy, Tyler! That´s enough!" Adelaide yelled.
But neither boys would stop figthing each other. Adelaide tried to run at the fight to pull Tyler of her brother, but Stefan grabbed her arm before she could get to close and pulled her out of harm´s way.
"I will help, stay here okay." Stefan told her as he turned around and ran towards the two boys. Stefan grabbed Tyler´s arm before he could slam his fist into Jeremy´s bloody face." Hey, he´s down! Enough!" Stefan started yelling at Tyler before catching his fist. Tyler then punched Stefan´s stomach. Tyler looked shocked when Stefan didn´ even flinch.
Adelaide went to check on Jeremy, but when she turned around, she saw Jeremy grab a piece of glass from a broken bottle." Jeremy no!" Adelaide yelled out, but Jeremy ignored her and swing the bottle at Tyler, Stefan threw Tyler to the ground and Jeremy sliced Stefan´s hand. Matt tackled Tyler as Jeremy stood there staring in shock at what he had done.
Adelaide quickly walked towards Jeremy." Put your head up, you´re bleeding." Adelaide said as she titled Jeremy´s head up towards the sky.
"I´am fine!" Jeremy snapped at her.
"You smell fine." Adelaide snapped back at him.
" Leave me alone!" He growled before stomping away from Adelaide. Jeremy had never yelled at Adelaide before, so she didn´t take it to heart.
Elena quickly came over to Adelaide." Are you okay? And Jeremy?"
Adelaide sighed as she looked over at Tyler and saw he was staring back at her with anger." I´am fine." She said as she turned back to Elena." Jeremy will be fine. Just leave him alone for a while." Adelaide eyes widened as she remembered." You should check on Stefan. I saw the glass gut his hand."
Elena nodded her head, Adelaide touch her shoulder." I´am going to see if i can´t fine Matt." Adelaide told her before she made her way to the crowd of people.
"Yeah okay. I will see you at home then." Elena said before she made her way towards Stefan.
Adelaide was leaving when she saw Tyler was about to walk into the locker rooms and she hurried towards him." You come at Jeremy again and we´re done."
"He started it." Tyler said defending himself.'
"What´s worng with you lately?"
"You really want to go there?" Tyler asked her.
"Go to hell Lockwood." Adelaide spat before she turned and walked away from him.
Adelaide opened passenger side door of Matt´s truck and grabbed her jacked before closing the door, she slipped the jacked on as she turned around, she jumped in fright. Damon was standing in front of her with a smirk on his face.
Adelaide placed the plam of her hand against her chest as she tried to get her breathing under control. "You scared me." She told him before she leaned her head to the side as questioned." What´re you doing here?"
"I´am hiding from Caroline." Damon whispered.
"Why is that?" Adelaide whispered back.
"I need a break." Damon explained."She talks more then i can listen."
Adelaide chuckled lowly." You know, that could be a sign."
"Well, she´s awfully young." Damon said.
"She´s not much younger than you."
Damon chuckled." I don´t see it going anywhere in the bigger picture. I think she´s driving me crazy."
Adelaide raised an eyebrow at the older brother." I would be careful if i was you .Caroline might be difficult at time, but she´s been my friend since i could walk."
"Duly noted." Damon said."I´am sorry if i make you uncomfortable. That´s not my intention."
Adelaide rolled her eye." Yes it is.
Damon smiled and nodded his head." You´re right. I don have other intentions, but so do you." Damon said as he pointed his finger at her.
"Oh, really? And what´re those intentions?"
"Hm..hmm." Damon mumbled." I see em. You want me." Damon told her.
Adelaide rised her eyebrow at him." Excuse me?"
"I get you. You find yourself drawn to me. You think about me even when you don´t want to think about me. I bet you even dream about me." Damon said as he stared directly into Adelaid´s eyes." And right now... you want to kiss me."
Adelaide stared into Damon´s eyes and for some reason, she felt a pull to listen to him. But when Damon moves closer to her lips, she finally snapped out of it and slapped Damon across the face." I would never kiss you!" Adelaide growled out as she glared at Damon." You´re dating Caroline and i see what you´re trying to do." Adelaide said, pointing her finger at him." Leave Stefan and Elena alone and don´t you ever try and make me get in the middel of it. Because if you hurt Elena i will come for you Salvatore."
Damon smirked at Adelaide." Is that a threat?"
Adelaide shook her head." No. It´s a promise."
"What´s going on here?"
Adelaide looked over Damon´s shoulder and saw Matt making his way towards them." It´s nothing Matt. Damon was just leaving." Adelaide told Matt before she looked back at Damon.
Damon smirked at her." I see how it is." He said before he turned around and stepped in front of Matt, stopping him reaching Adelaide." One sister dumped you and you´re trying to get with the other.
Matt looked towards Adelaide and saw her shaking her head at him." I think you should leave." Matt said as he tried to walk around Damon, but Damon stepped in front him again.
"And who´s gonna make me? You?" Damon asked as he raised his eyebrow.
"Yeah." Matt said before he pushed Damon backwards and he was about to raise his fist, but stopped when Adelaide placed herself in front of him." You need to leave!" She told Damon as she tried to keep Matt where he was.
"I don´t think i will." Damon told her.
"Come one." Adelaide said as she took Matt´s hand into her and pulled him towards his truck.
"What is his problem?" Matt asked her as they got into his truck.
"He´s just trying to make trouble." Adelaide said as she watched Damon through the window as Matt drove his truck out of the parking lot.
