Series Info
Quick Summary: This series will be about Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth, and will show their travels while they were still kids. It'll cover their journeys from the time they ran away up till the time they meet Grover and finally make it to Camp Half Blood.
Number of stories: This will be a 4 book series (of course anyone using it can shorten or elongate it in any way they please).
Book 1
Title Suggestions: The Lone Demigod, On The Run, The Good Old Days: Luke,
Summary: Luke, tired of his mother's behavior, finally runs away from home, taking nothing more than a small sword and some food. He ventures out into the dangerous world to get away from the place he once called home, hoping to make a living for himself elsewhere. Along the way, he battles and escaped from multiple monsters, growing more and more powerful with each attack. This is his story as he makes his way in the world of monsters as a lone demigod.
Beginning: Luke will take a few of his belongings such as a weapon and some food and run away from his mother's home after she has a particularly horrifying fit from seeing into the future. Along the way he'll get attacked by many monsters and will have to defeat them as he hones his skills and figures out his true heritage.
Middle: Luke will get caught by a bunch of Laistrygonian Giants and will have to break free from them and escape. After escaping, they'll get angry and start trying to hunt him down. They end up sniffing out another powerful demigod at the same time and decide to go after both.
End: The monsters realize that Luke and this other powerful demigod are in the same place and finally catch up to him. When Luke realizes that Thalia is like him, the two decide to team up to end the monsters once and for all. After a harsh fight, Luke and Thalia emerge victorious. They talk and become friends, deciding to go on the next step of their journey together.
Book 2
Title Suggestions: The Demigod Duo, The Good Old Days: Thalia,
Summary: Thalia and Luke have met and have decided to travel together until they can find a home. Being two powerful demigods, their scent attracts a lot of monsters, and the two must train and practice as hard as they can to be able to defeat them. This arc will also contain the story of Halcyon Green (Which is in the demigod diaries, for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about)
Beginning: This arc will start off with Thali and Luke, who have decided to travel together. Towards the beginning, they still find it a little hard to trust each other, but agree that travelling together would be beneficial. It'll also move forward in time and show they're friendship after a week of travelling together and a month of travelling together, at which point they trust each other completely and are best friends.
Middle: Luke and Thalia reach the james river, where they make a small safe house filled with weapns, food, and other essentials, before Thalia sees Amaltheia the goat. Amaltheia will lead them to Hal Green's mansion, and they'll be lured inside by him and the leucrotae.(Read the Demigod Diaries for those of you that are confused) and the plot of the Hal Green story will begin.
End: Luke and Thalia escape from the mansion after Hal Green sacrifices himself to save them, and they run as far away as they can. They hide in an alleyway, where, under a chunk of metal, they find Annabeth, who had also run away from home. They talk to her and decide to take her with them, at which point Luke gives her Hal's knife and the story ends as the three walk out of the alley together, ready to resume their journey
Book 3
Title Suggestions: The Good Old Days: Annabeth,
Summary: Thalia, Luke and Annabeth start their journey to find a home for themselves, fighting monsters, building safe houses, and fighting for their lives on many occasions. Finally they're found by a Satyr named Grover
Beginning: This arc will start off where the last one ended, with Annabeth, Luke, and Thalia leaving the dark alley. It'll show them make their way back towards their safe house and the James River, where they'll restock on supplies and get some new stuff for Annabeth as well. After they leave, they get attacked by monsters, and Thalia, trying to save Luke, gets injured. With no other choice left, Luke takes them all back to his home
Middle: This section will show their meeting with Hermes at Luke's home. Luke will see his father, ask him about his destiny, and leave in a fit of rage after his father refuses to tell him. Once they leave, Luke will change and get more aggressive and reckless, trying to fight every monster he meets along the way, causing a damper on his friendship with Thalia.
End: Along the way, they'll meet the Hunters of Artemis, who'll offer Thalia a place in the hunt, to which she refuses. After this meeting, Thalia grows to dislike the hunt as they all move on to continue their journey, until at the end they are finally discovered by a Satyr named Grover.
Book 4
Title Suggestions: The Good Old Days: The End, A Hero's Sacrifice
Summary: Grover finds the trio of runaway demigods and is trying to lead them back to Camp Half Blood. Along the way, Hades learns of Thalia and lets the worst monsters out of Tartarus to kill her. Grover gets scared and accidentally takes a few wrong turns. They go through lots of hardships until they finally reach Half Blood Hill, where, overrun by monsters, Thalia makes a noble sacrifice and holds them off as the others enter the camp. Thalia is about to die until Zeus turns her into a pine tree, creating the barrier that protects Camp Half Blood.
Beginning: Grover, who was sent to retrieve Thalia, has found her and her two companions and the group of four set off on their journey to Camp Half Blood. Hades finds out about Thalia and sends the three furies along with a bunch of hellhounds and cyclops to kill her.
Middle: On the run from Hades' monsters, Grover, out of fear, takes a few wrong turns. The worst one leads them into the mansion of a elder cyclops, who traps them all. They finally manage to escape from the cyclops, but the time it takes allows the other monsters sent by Hades to get very close to their current location.
End: Grover finally finds the right way and leads them all towards Half Blood Hill, trying to move as fast as he can in order to prevent a showdown with the monsters. In the end, the monsters end up catching up to them. Thalia, realizing that there is no other option, tells Grover to take the others and go, while she runs back and engages them. The others sadly move on and enter the camp, where they watch with horror as a cyclops slams Thalia with his club. Taking pity on his daughter, Zeus turns her into a tree and forms the protective barrier around the camp.
Other Ideas for the story
Idea 1: These four books can be shortened down and squeezed into one very large story instead, but that isn't recommended unless you plan to include only key events such as those mentioned in the canon.
Idea 2: Each book can be told from the point of view of the character who has been added. For example, narration by Luke in the first book, Thalia for the second one, Annabeth for the third one, and Grover for the fourth one.
Idea 3: The books can be written as though they were Luke Castellan's personal diary, the one given to him by Halcyon Green, meaning that everything would be in Luke's point of view.
Idea 4: Maybe they can be written similar to the Kane Chronicles series with a different character narrating each chapter, at least in later arcs where it isn't just Luke.
