When we got in a taxi DeJah made sure the mist-covered Chanzes chains. The taxi driver looked old and tired and said "where to kids" "stone street sir " I replied "you got it sonny" then we sped off. When we got there I gave the taxi guy a tip and watched him drive off. Then we went to an old and broken house "DeJah would you do the honors?" I asked " Of course J!" Then DeJah made the mist rise and the house was no longer an old and broken house, it was a gold glamorous place.
We entered the gates and pressed the buzzer, "Who dares to bother me" a dark voice said over the radio "chicken wings on Tuesday '' DeJah said into the radio. I for one always thought it was a silly password for a Demi-god hideout but sure enough a minute later a harpy opened the door "Sam what's up it's been a while" DeJah said. "Hello it's good to see you again please come on it and hello Master Skelson" "hi Sam how you been" "pretty good pretty good" he said then he looked down at chanze "oh I see you brought a prisoner with you I go get Miss Emily'' he said as he flew to get Emily, DeJah started grinning "what" I asked "get ready Jaivon" she said "your crush is coming" I felt my ears burn "shut up" I said as I shoved her. "Ahem I'm still here," chanze said Suddenly the golden doors on the second floor opened.
"Hello Jaivon, Emily said as she walked down the golden staircase" "h-hi," I said my throat felt like it was burning and my hands got so sweaty that I almost dropped chanze "so how you been," I asked nervously "to be honest I'll be bored since your last visit," she said "Ahem," chanze said yelling "I'm still here" "we get it shhh" DeJah responded, "yes" she said turning away from me "is this your prisoner," she asked "yes," I said "I see so why are you here" "we need your help," I said "we need to look into this guy head so we can any info from him" "Samuel take this boy to prison" she yelled the harpy came swooped up chanze and flew him towards the prison "and DeJah make yourself at home" "Jaivon can I Talk to you privately" "sure," I said as I followed her to her Chambers.
Her room was as beautiful as always with a mix of gold, silver, and diamond. "So Emily how you been holding up um have you battled any monsters lately," I said unsure what to say "no" she replied "the mist has been so strong here that monsters don't attack anymore" "wow, that's surprising" "So why are you here," she said trying to cut to the chase. "I came here for three reasons: to have you look inside chanze's mind, to ask you if you'll join my quest, and to see you again." she blushed "all right I'll help you with this chanze person but about the quest I'll have to think about it, remember I do have demigods to take care of."
"Thank you, Emily and I hope you come with us." As we went downstairs toward the living I saw DeJah hang out with some old demigod friends and the Oracles of Delphi and Cumæ. "Hello everyone!" I said in an excited voice. "How is everyone?" "Good we guess!" they all said in a crowded mumble. One of the demigods was named Olivia Brown, daughter of Athena. "Hey, Jaivon hows your mom doing" "good" I replied "she just got marry a month ago" then Mary-Ann, daughter of Zeus joined in "so did you finish your quest," she asked "actually" I started "they need our help to finish the first part of there quest " the room became dead silent, "I told you would not complete the quest without friends," Oracle of Delphi said, "I know and I realized that now." I said feeling guilty "DeJah, Oracles, Mary-ann, and Olivia please come, we're about to enter a stranger's mind." Emily said.
