Ha ha another update before a week past.
I own nothing but Ocs, the setting, the monsters, and any non-orignal characters belong to Rick Riordan.
Arthur ran over to the kid sliding on his knees hoping to at least save one person today. He pulls out gauze and bandages. The wound was worse than he thought, whatever had stabbed him had gone clean through the boy's stomach it was a miracle he was still alive. Nectar and ambrosia were out of the question, it would do more damage than whatever had stabbed the kid. After wrapping the gauze and bandages around the boy's stomach he rushed to the car so he could take the boy to his hotel room, he had better medical supplies there, and he did not want to be anywhere near here when the police got here.
This was fantastic. He had a demi-god, just great, and of course they were claimed immediately after he met her which meant that Athena was worried enough about the kids safety to claim her and make Nathan's job about hundred times harder. There goes this being just another job, when a demi-god was claimed or realizes they are a demi-god it pulls to nearly every monster in the whole country, heck maybe the continent.
"I need you to come with me,"He said to the girl, Kylee, if he still correctly remembers a conversation from like two minutes ago.
"What, why," Kylee asked, confused.
'Well when a demi-god realizes they're," He thinks for a second before continuing with
"Well a demi-god or they get claimed by their godly parent, which is super rare by the way," he says, gesturing at the glowing owl.
"They draw monsters from across the country," he says walking towards the exit.
"Wait there are other things like those goat vampires," she says following him slowly
"Empousa's and yeah there's more of those and they are way worse than Kelli and her friends,"he says getting out into the parking lot, Kylee following soon after.
"Like what," Kylee asked, knowing she wouldn't like the answer. As they continued outside she followed the boy to what looked like an old muscle car.
"Oh, Hydras, Hellhounds, Cyclops, basically anything in greek myth," he said, popping the trunk.
"And how does no one know about any of these things," Kylee asked, confused. The boy sighed like he'ed been expecting that question. He was fiddling with a small hatch on the bottom of the trunk before turning around and saying,
"There's this thing called the mist, it prevents normal mortals from seeing the activities of gods, demi-gods and monsters." Kylee then hears something olympus and empire state building muttered under the boy's breath. As he finally pulls the hatch open she saw a second trunk full of weapons ranging from shotguns and pistols to swords and daggers with a bronze glow.
"You said the symbol is-,"
"It's the symbol of Athena who is apparently your 'mom," the boy said annoyed. As he pulled out a shotgun and another pistol.
It took a minute to sink in, her mom was a greek god, it sounded crazy, insane, made up , but couldn't help the feeling that it was true, something about it just made sense, in a way she couldn't explain.
"Now I need to get you to New York," the boy said, slamming the two trunks closed.
"Wait New York, why," she said confused.
"Safe place for people like you," the boy said.
"I need to talk to my dad," she said.
"Well that's a-, wait do you like you're dad," he said, questioning her.
"Um, yeah," she said, unclear on what that had to do with anything.
"Then it's a terrible plan, monsters follow you," He said pointing at her,"and they wouldn't mind killing mortals, like your dad,"
"Ok but I at least have to call him," She said frustrated.
"Oh hades no, as far as I'm concerned you don't touch a phone under any circumstances," He said angrier than she was.
"Why," she questioned, that didn't make any sense, she had used phones plenty of times.
"Claiming/realization just gives off a sense of direction of where a demi-god is, with a phone call you might as well send up a flare saying, please come kill us," he said approaching the driver's side door."Now get in the car."
"I'm not getting in a car with a complete stranger," she said frustrated.
Looking down at what he had in his hands and then back at her confused.
"You are aware I have a gun, right," he holding up his shotgun.
"Ok," she said has she entered the shotgun seat and he plopped down in the driver's seat starting up the car, "can I at least ask your name,"
"Sure," The boy said, reaching over the center, "Nathan Walker, monster hunter,"
