#16: Showing up and off
Later at night...
Techno's waiting at the area the anonymous messenger told him to meet. Whoever they are, they were taking too long. Right now, Tech's just walking in circles. He stopped, pressed the intercom on his visor and said, "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., is there anything nearby that like a training challenge or crime in progress or anything at all to save me from dying of boredom?"
"WHY YES. THERE IS A TRAVERSAL TRAINING CHALLENGE ON A BUILDING TO YOUR RIGHT."
"Sweet, thanks!" He went to the building, got on top of it and saw a laptop like from his first challenge. He logged on, it scanned him and out came M.A.D.I.S.O.N.'s voice.
"WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST TRAVERSAL TRAINING CHALLENGE. FOR CHALLENGES LIKE THESE, YOU WILL NEED TO DO A LAP AROUND THE AREA THE CHALLENGE IS IN. YOU NEED TO REACH EVERY CHECKPOINT BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT. BASED ON YOUR PAST EXPERIENCE, THE TIME GIVEN EACH TRAVERSAL CHALLENGE WILL BE SIXTY SECONDS.
Techno grinned. He always loved a challenge.
"IF YOU MANAGE TO MAKE IT IN LESS THAN THIRTY-FIVE SECONDS, YOU WILL WIN A PRIZE. STEP ONTO THE SQUARE TO BEGIN."
Techno ran onto the holographic square like last time. A countdown appeared and when it hit zero, the timer started and so did Techno. He jumped in the air and spun through the first checkpoint. There's twelve total and for the next one he had to get by vaulting over a huge gap. He got another one by jumping then blast jumping up a taller building. For the next one he had to wall run the side of another building. He blast jumped off it, grabbed a telephone wire connected to a satellite dish, did a 360 swing and launched himself through the fifth. Landing on a ventilation unit, he jumped off landed on his hands, and launched himself through number six, landed on one foot on top off an antenna, flipped off it landed on another one, then again on another one and did a 360 and landed on number seven. Running to the edge of the building, he jumped off and did a midair blast jump across to the next. He ran through the eighth checkpoint and wall ran up the side of a slightly taller building, landed on it with a flip, and kept going. Reaching the other side, he jumped off and dived down where there was a flagpole sticking out the side of the building. He grabbed, swung, and launched himself onto the side of another building, diving through the ninth checkpoint in the process. When he landed on the side, he wall ran upwards, landed on top with a backflip. After doing so, he ran to and down the left side of the roof, and blast jumped off it and through checkpoint ten.
Just two more to go.
Speaking of which, he landed on the side of the building he started on. He wall ran upwards, landed on top and on the eleventh check point with a flip. Running to the finish line, Techno smirked. That was until a certain something- well somethings- well someones unexpectedly appeared in the way. Techno didn't stop though, he doesn't stop even if something's in his way. So instead of stopping, he did a corkscrew over them and landed in the last checkpoint.
"TWENTY-SEVEN SECONDS. CONGRATULATIONS TECHNO. YOU'RE REWARD WILL BE ON ITS WAY.
"Thanks M.A.D.I.S.O.N.." Tech said as he turned back to the figures, which were looking at him with surprise.
"So are you girls just gonna stand there or are do you need something?"
#17: Right place, wrong time
No surprise here guys. You might've already known that it was the Super Hero Girls that called me here. Not that it matters anyway, because I'm always out of time. I have to go to this dance at school and I'm not trying to miss it. If there's a party, event, or celebration anywhere, I have to be there.
"Still waiting for an answer.".
"Actually, we've came here to talk. First off we would like to say-"
"YOUR REWARD HAS ARRIVED. YOU WILL NEED TO HOLD OUT YOUR HANDS."
"Yeah, hold that thought for a second."
Suddenly, a bright green sum of light out of nowhere came at us at a high speed. The girls ducked in time while I held my hands out and caught it. My hands were bathed in the light and my hands feel, strange. The strangeness went away after a while when the light did. I smiled at what I saw.
The hands of my bodysuit were gone and were replaced with military grade gloves that had the same line patterns and look. And yes, the watch was still there.
"Oh this is nice."
"THE GLOVES PROJECT LINES OF CONDUCTIVE WIRES THAT WILL CONNECT TO ALMOST ANYTHING. YOU JUST NEED TO POINT TO SHOOT ONE."
Time to test these out. "'Scuse me for a minute girls." I said as I backflipped on the edge of the building, turned around and pointed my index finger at a trashcan. When I did, out came a really thin neon green sparking tether shot at it and stuck to it.
"YOU WILL NEED TO STOP POINTING TO DISCONNECT. YOU CAN RETRACT BY PULLING BACK ON IT."
Okay, I stopped pointing and the rest of the wire came out of the glove and wrapped around it. I aimed at the trashcan lid, shot a wire at it, pulled back and it came flying at me: wire still attached. I actually caught it, did a 360 and threw it to who-knows-where. "These are gonna come in handy." I said looking at the gloves. And no, I'm not using these for movement. Combat and strategy only. I've got four limbs that ain't broken.
However, I was almost pushed off the edge by Batgirl who came up to my face and excitedly, energetically said, "I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!" Before she could say anything else I said, "Sorry, but you girls should've got here earlier. I'm late for this thing and I can't miss it. We can meet up tomorrow though." I walked backwards away from Batgirl. "Hey! we came here to talk." Supergirl said. "And we did. I will meet you all tomorrow" and fell off the building with a salute and saying, "See ya."
Before hitting the ground I went intangible, and fell through the ground and a second later, shot out of it into the air, winking at the girls along the way.
The next day...
Okay! It's the weekend and I'm in my normal attire with Aarondroid. We're doing another video.
"My family and I've be traveling around the world ever since I built a teleporter. I made too many friends around the world and crashed on too many couches and it all stopped about four years ago."
We both just came into a joint called Sweet Justice.
"I was in Indianapolis, Indiana. So good, they named it one and a half times. I was staying with this friend of mine, and since last time I visited, she got a cat. Turns out I am allergic, to this one cat. So I went to the pharmacy to get some *Snaps fingers twice* poison to kill the cat. Didn't have any cat poison. Had to get antihistamines. You win this round, cat."
I order a slice of ice cream cake, got it and sat down with A.D..
"Itchy eyes is screwed, but itchy eyes when you already have glasses is terrible! Like how did we get to become this robust, and still have two points of ultimate vulnerability right in the middle of our heads? Just strolling around at the top of the food chain, no cares to give. You get one eyelash in your eye, it's over like, (Different voice)"Grunts and rubs eyes in pain*I can't do anything ever again! I'm out! I'm done!"
Wait a minute, I've heard that laugh before. I turned around and saw- "(Normal voice)Karen, hey!" Looks like she's here with some friends. She saw me and quietly said blushing, "H-Hey Aaron." Her friends on the other hand, all but one of them, grew sly smirks and looked at her. I was confused for a second, but I shook it off ate a slice of my cake and back to the video.
"Now what was I was saying? Oh yeah, back to pharmacies. Why do pharmacies always have all this unnecessary stuff? I was at the pharmacy eight days ago to get cough medicine for my science teacher, and I walked by this guy and looked in his bag, I'm only human yes I took a look. So, here's what the dude had at the pharmacy. He had two bags of M&Ms, some Reese's peanut butter cups, a packet of Cheetos, and a blood pressure monitor.

Okay, steering off to one side, avoiding that man's obvious cry for help. If you wanna be called a pharmacy, stick to selling medicinal goods. Don't give into confectionery! No store should stock both the problem and the solution."
I ate two more pieces of my cake.
"Anyway, this has been today's video of A's P.O.V., Thanks for watching, I'll see you later."
"We are no longer rolling."
"*Exhales* Thanks, A.D.. I think that was our best video yet." After finishing my cake, we both got up and left. Strangest thing, I looked back at the booth where Karen and her friends were sitting, and they're not there anymore. Meh, it's not a big deal. Anyway A.D. and I left- Well, Aarondroid left. I ran behind the building and turned into Techno. I pulled out my phone and saw on TechnoHelp that the Super Hero Girls texted me to meet me at junkyard not too long ago. I shrugged and sped off. Really hoping the girls aren't late this time.
At the junkyard...
Ah, junkyards. The place where all the junk people take the big stuff they don't want. Looking around, I saw this a big sign that read,
'WE'VE HEARD OF YOU AND SEEN YOU'RE WORK, WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE.'
Knowing who it was from, I rolled my eyes. "No dice girls. We just met, and I don't give identity to people who I don't completely trust." I said out, hoping they heard me. A second sign just appeared somehow, and read,
'PLEASE?.'
"Yeah, not gonna happen. And don't use that tone, you're embarrassing yourselves. If you wanna know who I am. You gotta do the test. Haven't you seen my app?"
TechnoHelp shows that there's always a test that I do with every new hero I meet. Yet, it doesn't show what that test is.
"Here's how this goes, if you girls can get a hold of my mask, I'll show who I am. Unless, you don't think you're up for the challenge." You might think I'm crazy, but I'm fine. It's not like they can land a hit on me anyway, no one can. A third sign appeared.
'ARE YOU SURE?'
"Try me. Give me all you got. And trust me when I say, I won't hold back 'cause you're girls."
I managed to catch a yellow Baterang that was an inch from my face with two fingers. Nice try Bats. I flicked it back at where it was thrown. I could hear a small yelp. I think it almost hit her in the head. Let's see how good you girls really are.
#18: One on six
"What else you girls got?!"
"This!" Supergirl came flying at Techno from behind. Too bad for her, Techno backflipped over her and blasted her in the ground with his feet. When he landed, she quickly got up and tried to grab his visor with her speed, but you should know by now Techno was able to avoid her hands, as quick as he is. "You're quick, I'll give you that." he started as he caught one of her arms making her go surprised, "But I'm much faster." He then flipped her into the ground, picked her up, swung around and threw her into a stack of cars rusting cars, which collapsed onto her. "Told you I won't go easy on ya!"
"Dloh tuo ruoy dnah!" Said Zatanna as a bright purple arm appeared and charged at Techno. Seeing it coming, Techno shot a beam his energy out of his hand to keep Zatanna's back. "C'mon Zatanna, you can't get a grip on me." He felt a tingle, and used his other arm to keep back a second dragon that was completely green that tried to get him from behind. "What about both of us?" Green Lantern said. Techno smirked and stopped his beams and let the arms come at him. He fell through the ground, making both hands grab each other instead. Techno rose out of the ground and put a yellow Ultra Disc on both hands, snapped his fingers and the kinetic blast made the green one crack and fall apart and the purple one dissipate. Before both girls could react, Techno blast jumped upward and in the middle of a flip, blasted both of them into the ground. "You can throw all you've got at me, girls." He landed. "It still wouldn't be enough."
Techno glitched invisible, which was seen by Batgirl. "Where'd he go?!" She said. "Boo." "AAHHH!" She yelled as jumped up like a cat. Techno burst out laughing, making her grit her teeth a little. He stopped laughing because he had to go intangible because he was almost hit from behind by Wonder Woman, who ended up going though him. Both girls charged at him Techno just stood there, with one hand behind his back. Before they could do anything, a somewhat dented car with a neon green aura came out and hit both of them into not too deep pit, with the car on top of them both.
"That make's five. Now where's Bumblebee?" he said looking around.
Bumblebee was shrunken down, tailing Techno. She's waiting for the right moment to strike. And let me tell ya, she was scared silly. She could do barely do anything against him. She saw Techno's Holo-Training, she can't go near someone that's that skilled and powerful without second thinking. But she hast to help her team, regardless of the risk. Somewhat having a plan, she flew up to Techno's head and flying around it started to shoot her stingers at her to get him off guard, which worked, for nine seconds. Tech sent a strong shockwave of energy out of his body, which made Bumblebee grow to her normal size and fall on the ground. Her entire suit was shut down. Seeing her situation, she got up and ran away.
Supergirl, who was covered in soot and dirt from the cars, flew in from behind and managed to pick up Techno and hold him from the leg, way up in the air. "It's over Sparky, you lose." she said, reaching for his visor. "It's over when I say it's over!" He said as he sent some energy to his leg, which surprisingly managed to hurt Supergirl, making her drop him. Techno had his legs crossed and arms behind his back, taunting her. Now filled with rage, she dove after him. About three meters from the ground, going too fast, Supergirl flew right through him and ended up hitting the ground headfirst.
The second he landed on his feet, Techno's right arm was caught by a green chain from Green Lantern, and his left arm was caught by Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth. You'd think he's in trouble. "My lasso compels you to tell the truth." she said. "That's what you think." he said, the smirk never leaving his face. Both girls were jolted. They were expecting him to say something embarrassing, his secret identity, or anything along the lines of those. "Impossible." The Amazon warrior said. "More like impressive. My glitches are alter my mind so that I don't give into the magic of your lasso. Think quick!" He grabbed both the chain and lasso and swung the girls around and electrocuted them making them both let go and land into the ground beside Supergirl.
"Score ten for the Glitch King." Techno said, dodging right to avoid a blast of purple light. Techno turned and dashed at Zatanna. From a distance you could see flashes of neon green and bright purple all throughout the junkyard. Also from a distance were Batgirl and Bumblebee hiding behind a tower of garbage cubes. They were looking on Batgirl's laptop on TechnoHelp for something, anything they could use against Techno but they couldn't find anything. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, there's nothing in here!" Batgirl said started to panic. Bumblebee, whose suit is still powered down, just ducked under a beam of Techno's energy, which tore a hole in the tower. "We've gotta get outta here, we're sitting ducks!" she said, also starting to panic. Then, all became quiet.
For ten seconds, until Zatanna came flying in through the hole in the tower and landed on her back. She quickly sat up and scooted between her teammates. "He's almost immune to my magic, nothing's working on him!" she said, clutching her head.
CRASH! BOOM! ZAP! POW!
The Supergirl and Green Lantern just came scurrying behind the tower too. "You girls can't hide from me, I've got my Techno Vision!" "We need a plan, now!" Green Lantern said. Only problem was, no one had one. Why? Why do you think? "Missed me! Missed me, missed me, missed me!" All five of them looked through the hole in the tower and saw Wonder Woman trying to slash Techno with her sword, but like he said, is missing every time. Speaking of which, when she tried to strike him again she impaled him in the chest, making the rest of the team cheer. However, when she tried to retract it, she couldn't get it out. She looked at Techno's face and immediately new she was in trouble from his smirk. A strong blasted out of his chest knocking both Wonder Woman and her sword into a pile of mattresses, the sword inches from her face.
The girls quickly ran up to her. Luckily, she was fine...ish. "Hey, I told you girls that I won't go easy on ya." Techno said. "When you said you wouldn't go easy on us, we didn't think you meant like that!" Green Lantern said. "Have you seen my app? Did you think this was the first test I did that ended up with someone getting hurt?" All the girls took battle stances, including Wonder Woman. "That's it Tech, no more games. We're getting that mask off you if it's the last thing we do." Supergirl said. "Aw man, but this would've been a great opportunity." "A great opportunity for what?" asked Bumblebee. "A great opportunity to use my new ability." "What new ability?" asked Batgirl. "Well you see- You know what, why don't I just show you?" Techno walked backwards a couple steps, called M.A.D.I.S.O.N. on his visor and said,
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., I need a Techno-download."
#19: You can't beat the greatest
"INITIATING TECHNO-SCAN."
"What's he doing?" Zatanna asked concerned. "Get ready for the craziest thing y'all ever seen." I said. Let's fill you guys in. Techno-downloads are what I'm calling the powers I can get from M.A.D.I.S.O.N. and use in battle. I'll I gotta do is say which power I wanna use, let M.A.D.I.S.O.N. download it to me, and I get the upper hand, they last a full twenty-four hours, and I can make them go away if I want to. Now, which one should I use? There's just so many! Ooh, I got one.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N, download now!" I said as I held up my smartwatch-ed arm in the air. It glowed a bright amber color as I said the words, "Download Dragon of Justice!" The watched showed the picture of an amber colored dragon, and my entire look changed. All the neon green on me pixelated into amber and here's something else, holographic amber colored additions appeared all over me. I had some claws on my hands, my visor had a three points on each side, I had grown a tail, and spikes on my back along with some sweet dragon wings. This. Is. Awesome!
I flew upward and grinned at the girls who all backed up three steps. I dived down at them, making them all hit the dirt then run off in different directions. Turning around, I chased after them, blasting them with bolts of my energy. Supergirl, tried to throw a beat up car at me, but with my new claws I slashed it in half. Hold on, I wanna try something. I opened my mouth, exhaled, and out came amber blast of a mix electricity and fire. This changes everything.
Looking at the girls' expressions at what just happened, I landed on the ground and walked up to them, menacingly. "You know, I've been called a lot of things these past years. Tech, Glitch King, Smart Spark, even unstable, and they'd be right. Why? Because no one's ever gone up against me and won the fight. Yet, the one's who took my test, actually passed." I held out my right hand in a blasting stance, it filling up with amber energy. "You've only got one shot, answer wrong or not at all and you know what happens: How do you think they did it? Tick-tock."
Looking at their faces, I could tell they didn't know how to answer. Don't worry folks this is all part of my test. You might not get it, but all will be explained later. The answer to the question's why I've been able to keep fighting for so long. It's the reason I've been able to manage a double life so well. It's also the reason why I've gotten so experienced.
"It's because they didn't give up." Wait huh? It was Bumblebee who said that. "They didn't stop because they knew that giving up would mean that the job wouldn't get done right." I looked at her and aimed my arm at her making her yelp a little, then I laughed again. "Oh, you're face!. Okay, okay, okay, funny stuff aside. Congratulations! You passed the test!"

"What?" Supergirl said. "Yeah, the test was to see if you girl's were brave enough to not back out after actually seeing what I was capable of. I could tell some of you were tempted, but hey, you didn't and you earned my trust in the process." "So does that mean?" "Yep, who wants to do the honors?" Batgirl didn't waste any time and rushed up to me excited, saying "Me, me, me, me!" "Alright hold on." I took a deep breath, and the Techno-download pixelated away and I looked like myself again. "Go on." She wiggled her fingers, grabbed the side of my visor and pulled it off, and their reaction was priceless after they said at the same time,
"AARON?!"
#20: Hanging out
Some explanation later...
After the huge reveal, the girls and Techno were the hideout under Sweet Justice, all of which were in their normal attire. Aaron was shocked to know the other's identities, but it went away after it all making sense from earlier. After, what, twelve minutes of everyone being introduced to Aaron, Aaron apologizing for almost having everyone hurt badly, all was good.
In the hideout, everyone was doing they're own thing. Barbra, as curious as she is, was messing with Aaron's new gloves and wearing his visor, pretending to be Techno. "Babs, give my stuff back." "Come on, Aaron. Just a little longer?" "No. Hand them over." He walked up to Barbra, but she shot a wire somewhere and she zipped to the other side of the hideout, crashing into something offscreen.
Two minutes later, Zee was with Aaron talking about his suit. "I'm thinking about getting myself a jacket and shoes to go with this look, but I'm not entirely sure." "Hmm, I see where you're going and I think it might actually work." "Thanks, 'cause I'm usually not a guy that embraces doubts and this is the first time I did."
Next up was Kara, and they were having a strength competition. Kara was carrying every weight, dumbbell, bar, she had all on one hand. "Beat that Aaro- Whoa!" Aaron picked up Kara and all her stuff and held them on just two fingers. "You were saying?" "...Whatever."
With Jessica, they were talking about the videos on TechnoHelp and the way he fights. "Aaron, don't you think that all of this is a little, much?" "I guess, but it's also the reason why some villains don't mess with me. Sure I hurt, but I hurt with a purpose, to help those who aren't able to help themselves. Just be lucky I promised to never kill."
If you look at Karen, she's feeling three emotions. Surprised because Aaron was Techno, a little anxious because the boy she can't stop thinking about is literally not too far from her, and a little scared because of Aaron's powers, but that went away when said boy approached her to see what she was working on. About three minutes into working her suit, Karen looked over to Jessica, who gave her a thumbs up, then turned back to Aaron and nervously asked, "Um, Aaron?" "Yeah?" "I-If it's not any trouble, could we maybe meet up sometime, somewhere, and do something?" Aaron looked at her then smiled saying, "Sure, I got a ton of free time on my hands. Give me a time and place and I'll be there." He said as he wrote his number on a piece of paper, gave it to her then went back to work. Karen who's face went red from Aaron's response, turned away and had a mini celebration.
Aaron had a short break and pressed the button on his glasses, called M.A.D.I.S.O.N. and said, "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., it's safe to say that the Techno-download worked amazingly."
"I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT."
"Who is M.A.D.I.S.O.N.?" Diana said, walking up to Aaron. "Oh, she's my computer system. M.A.D.I.S.O.N. actually stands for Moral Artificial Digital Intelligent Sentimental Online Network. She's also how I was able to go dragon on you girls." That got everyone's attention. Batgirl who just fell from the ceiling, and still wearing Aaron's gear, got up and said, "How?" "She can help me out in battle. Whenever I'm in the middle of a fight, I can just call M.A.D.I.S.O.N. to send me a power of my choice. There's tons of them to choose from, so I have infinite selections. If I wanted to, I can even give them to other people." Everyone smiled at that.
Now that Aaron's got six heroine allies, things are gonna be a lot more different then they were before, and that's saying something.
